Beautiful venue for our rehearsal dinner. Family operated winery that excels in customer service and wine making!!!

My husband and I are wine club members at Rappahannock Cellars so we instantly thought it would be great to get married there being we like their wine so much! Little did I know that Kelly and her team were so wonderful to work with and my wedding would be more than I ever dreamed. Kelly is overly flexible and really let us do whatever we wanted/needed to make the event amazing. She was happy to have us visit (many times) leading up to the wedding and even camp out there doing prep work days before the wedding.

The venue is gorgeous and looked so romantic with the chandeliers and lights inside. The wood tables with flowers and candles made the room really stunning. And I loved the option for our guests to be outside or inside with the band.

Our daughter's ceremony was held at Marriott Ranch and we found that these two vendors work exceedingly well together to craft a wonderful wedding day. Kelly was fantastic to work with, helpful, insightful, patient and pleasant as we worked together to plan the details. When, at the last minute, we found ourselves without a DJ, Kelly recommended someone who was not only awesome, but also very affordable. She was very flexible and understanding, which reduced the stress factor to minimal levels. It was so comforting to know that only one event was booked per weekend, so there was flexibility in setting things up and taking them down. The entire staff, one very large family, was awesome and friendly and it was good to see that they were actually enjoying themselves at the reception. They treated our guests warmly and kindly and with respect. The barrel room made a very unique and intriguing space for the reception and the guests really liked the feel of the place. The porch and lawn outside by the pond provided a great spot for those who preferred to talk than dance. We brought yard games that were enjoyed by many. Beer and wine were served and we were happy to have some extra wine at the end of the day-it is really good wine. We became wine club members because of the wedding, and it is now our favorite winery. Our entire family loves Rappahannock Cellars and gives this wedding reception venue two thumbs up.

We held our wedding reception at Rappahannock Cellars this spring. The venue was unique and beautiful. We appreciated having a temperature-controlled space (with protection from April showers) with big windows, big doors, and a nice porch and outdoor space in case the weather was nice (and lucky for us, it was). We also loved the big farm tables that come with the space and highlighted them with our simple runner decor! The staff at Rappahannock was great to work with and made our big day go off without a hitch! Thank you!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Rappahannock Cellars and we could not have been more pleased with everything! The event room is absolutely beautiful with it's rustic and classic feel. The view of the vineyard is perfect no matter what the season. The staff really went above and beyond to help us plan everything the way we wanted it. From decorating, to arranging furniture, to serving our guests, everyone was so kind. Kelly (the event coordinator) was very professional and always available to us. She had a great balance of offering us her professional opinion/advice with allowing us to tailor things our way. With her help we found a great caterer that complimented Rappahannock's wine perfectly. Overall very pleased! Great experience and even better wine!

Top notch on-site event planner, Kelly, helped so much by giving advice, assurance and guidance with the details, table settings, catering recommendations, etc. Rappahannock is so easy to work with, and is either hands on, or lets you do your thing, depending on what you need and want. The venue is beautiful, and had I spent thousands or hundreds, i knew the staff was there to make our special day just what it turned out to be; absolutely beautiful - in spite of the rain!

Rappahanock Cellars is a beautiful family owned and operated vineyard nestled at the bottom of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The views are breathtaking and perfect for day-of pictures. My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception in their newly built barrel room. Leading up to the big day, the staff was very responsive and worked out the details every step of the way, creating a memorable wedding event. They are fully invested in their customers and we had a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end and highly recommend them. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day and celebration!

Great value at beautiful vineyard

Overall, my husband I had a very positive experience working with Rappahannock Cellars for our wedding reception two years ago. Kelly was very professional and personally walked us through all the important wedding details, ensuring that everything went smoothly. As well, we greatly appreciated any advice she was able to give in the area of decorating as she has worked with the facilities for quite some time. The charming, rustic atmosphere of Rappahannock Cellars was exactly what we had envisioned for our early Fall wedding reception.
We gave three stars for Quality of service only because the bathroom facilities were not ideal at the time as we had to rent our own porta potties in order to accomodate the number of guests. I believe this situation has changed recently, however, due to the opening of the new event hall which now provides indoor bathrooms. Had this been available two years ago,we would no doubt have given five stars in this category.
Again, overall a great experience working with Rappahannock....a big thank you to Kelly and to Rappahannock Cellars for providing such beautiful facilities, great service and fantastic wine for our big day!
