If we could recommend one partner in our entire wedding planning, it would be Rachel. She is the most organized, calm, cool, thoughtful person, and she was so integral in bringing our wedding together. We had a long engagement, and we booked Rachel about a year and a half before our wedding date. She balanced the most amazing organizational skills with a relaxed attitude, and she helped us prioritize our list of tasks. She also is close with all of the MDI wedding companies, and is constantly speaking with BHCC, Salt Farm Flowers and others which made the whole process feel more unified. Rachel really picked up her involvement in the ~six weeks before our wedding, and she was an absolute savior the week of our wedding. There were so many last minute curveballs, and Rachel took care of all of them, often without us even knowing. Every time we told a vendor that Rachel was our planner, they responded “oh you’re in the best hands.” She’s someone we loved getting to spend time with, and our wedding would absolutely not been the same without her. She’s truly the best, and we are so grateful that we found her.

Our daughter's wedding would not have gone nearly as spectacularly as it did, without the amazing Rachel and her team. We will forever be grateful for her help- and her friendship! We cannot recommend her enough!

After two failed covid attempts, my daughter finally had her dream wedding in Bar Harbor this past July....thanks in no small part to our wedding planner (who we like to think became our friend). Like other reviewers have stated....if you're looking to get married in, MDI...LOOK NO FURTHER than Sisson Events to plan your wedding day! Rachel is incredibly smart, kind, attentive, enthusiastic, punctual, innovative and full of fabulous wedding ideas. This clearly wasn't her first rodeo! Rachel actually listens and hears what your wedding vision is and makes it become a reality. We were planning the wedding long distance and had to ship quite a few boxes to Maine. The package that held lobster shaped cookies for our welcome bags was sent to the wrong address and my daughter was visibly upset. Rachel very calmly told us that she had a friend who could bake us 200 fresh blueberry muffins that night to replace the cookies in the bag....AND, Rachel went to the grocery store to buy the blueberries and delivered them to the baker! Above and beyond!! Rachel's services were excellent...I can't think of one negative!
