I could not have asked for a more beautiful reception venue location or better people to work with during the entire process. Our experience from start to finish was extremely positive. We used Bull & Bones for catering and received rave reviews from our guests. Our cocktail hour selections were continually replenished and the plated service was very efficient. All of the staff members (bartenders, servers, head chef, and managers) were friendly and genuine. The venue fee and per person catering pricing is incomparable against Northern VA locations we had looked at near our hometown. The value is truly incredible for the price. Thank you to Kassie and team for an amazing reception!

We had our ceremony on the patio, and the reception was held in the reception room with overflow on the patio. It was an absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding! The mountains, golf course, and river made a perfect backdrop for our photographs. They also gave us a discount for being VT alums. Bull and Bones is the on-site caterer, and they were so easy to work with since they already have a restaurant there. I would definitely recommend using the River Course for your wedding!

Gorgeous venue. Excellent staff and the food was excellent

We chose Pete Dye mainly for the spectacular views and ability to have an indoor/outdoor wedding. The property manager and caterer were extremely helpful during the entire process and were both very quick to respond to emails. The entire staff was helpful and took great care of our guests the entire night. We asked to have our food served family style (which they'd never done before) and it worked out perfectly. The food was good and they're able to be very accommodating with the menu. I would definitely recommend the venue to anyone who wants the beauty of the outdoors with inside amenities. The only negative was that our wedding party was not allowed out onto the golf course for pictures - just the bride and groom. This wasn't a big deal, but it also wasn't clearly communicated to us. Overall this was a wonderful place and we were extremely happy with our wedding.

We recently got married at this location and it is a beautiful place! All of our guest commented on the location. The food was good, people are very nice and the backround is sooooo pretty! The only problem we had is it rained about 20 minutes before our wedding and continued to rain throughout our ceramonay so we were not able to use the grounds and were still charged for everything as if we did.
