From the moment we hired Chandni Mistry and Jose Bonilla, we knew we were in great hands—but they still managed to exceed every expectation we had.

Planning a 5-event Indian wedding over three days (Welcome Party, Haldi, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception) is no small feat, and they guided us through every step of the process over the course of nearly a year and a half. We had biweekly planning meetings that kept us organized, on schedule, and never overwhelmed. They reviewed every contract, gave thoughtful vendor recommendations, helped us compare options, brainstormed creative ideas, and collaborated with us to make sure every detail reflected our vision. Where do we start?

Chandni and her team went above and beyond for our wedding in Cabo. After speaking with a ton of wedding planners across the country and in the NYC area, we decided to go with Pearls Event after feeling they understood what we were looking to do.

Chandni was an amazing planner and worked with us for nearly a year to help plan our destination wedding. From negotiating the contracts with several venues to finding caterers to finding transportation to helping wrapping gifts at the events, there is nothing her and her team did not help us with.

More than anything, she kept everyone calm during the entire process. Wedding planning is not easy, especially when you have many hands in the cookie jar. I cannot stress how well Chandni handles the emotions of all the parties involved in the wedding planning process.

During each event of our wedding, Chandni and her team kept everyone on time. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO KEEP SOUTH ASIAN PEOPLE ON TIME? It's impossible but Chandni made it possible (shoutout Adidas).

We are so grateful and appreciative of the work the Pearls Event team put into turning our vision for our wedding into reality. Everyone goes into planning a wedding knowing it will be challenging, but we now that it would have been nearly impossible and not nearly as beautiful without Chandni, Bindia, and the Pearls Event team.

Starting immediately Chandni showed us exactly why we needed her expertise and counsel. We were already looking at venues before we contacted Chandni and thought we had found one that we had liked at a country club. Chandni being an expert in the field already could tell that there were several red flags with the venue that we were blind to. Nevertheless she didn’t try to sour our opinion and instead helped us see, after several site visits where she drove hours to, why the venue would not be the right choice for us given their lack of communication, organization, and transparency. We are so grateful she tried her best while also providing us alternatives like the venue we ended up choosing and loving.

Throughout our planning period we felt very taken care of and heard, with a special emphasis on organizing all our tasks with appropriate deadlines. There was a lot of advice we needed around decorations and working with vendors that we appreciated throughout the process. Whether it was style suggestions or help with the final details of where things were to go day-of, Chandni has a talent and the experience to get our vision executed - even when our vision wasn’t fully fleshed out.

Overall Chandni was a calming and comforting presence throughout our full journey. That’s what makes the experience above and beyond given how stressful things can get with managing families and logistics. We felt heard every step of the way and that we had a true partner through it all who was above all else on our side.

With all that preparation and effort our wedding went forward without a hitch and the grand experience was felt by all our guests!
