I am so late writing this review, but need to! I just wanted to express how lovely it was to have Lorel at our wedding. She provided such beautiful vibes with the violin songs she played. We were able to select songs she had on a provided list (I think she allowed suggestions too?) and it was the touch we needed at our wedding. Before I walked down the aisle, I had her play “Can you feel the love tonight” and as I walked down, she played “can’t help falling in love with you.” So beautiful :) Lorel was very accommodating and easy to work with. Please book her to play at a portion of your wedding. It truly was the magical touch to the feeling of the space!

Laurel is simply amazing. She quickly responded to my inquiry and was extremely easy to work with. I hired Laurel for my ceremony that took place at Wilde Memorial Chapel, which has no speaker system. She assured me that would be fine and it definitely was. She played beautiful music before, during and after my ceremony. My guests raved about her performance, it was beautiful! When I booked her (at an extremely fair price!) she sent a contract with a list of common tunes she plays. I went through the list and crossed out which ones I didn’t care for, but wasn’t sure how to put them together or which songs should be played when. She was so kind in giving me guidance on what would and wouldn’t “work”. What a pleasure to work with! Thank you so much Laurel, our wedding would not have been so great without you!!!! If you’re looking for a violinist for your wedding, she is the person you want!

We cannot say enough positives about Laurel with North Light Strings. Our ceremony experienced a delay with the start time, she continued to play filling the wait time seamlessly. Family members approached her with requests and she accommodated in a professional and friendly manner. Our ceremony was everything we could have imagined and we could not picture it without Lorel.

We were so pleased to have Lorel play violin at our wedding ceremony at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. We had decided on this type of entertainment last minute and Lorel was so quick to respond and accommodating. Communication was great and her talents are unmatched. Pricing was also fair. We would love to have another event that we could invite her to. Highly recommended!
