We used Blue Elephant as my wedding caterer and also had Fausto as my planner. I was also blessed with having Nicki and Dominique for the whole day! Nicki and Dominique are the Maid of Honors, and Fairy Godmother's, you didn't know you needed. They never left my side and constantly checked on me. From helping me get my dress on, to holding my dress up and running in the rain to the venue, styling my dress for pictures and bustling, Nicki and Dominique are angels and exceptional at what they do.

Fausto is the best planner I could've asked for. He went above and beyond to ensure my wedding day went smoothly.

We used Blue Elephant as our caterer and also had Fausto on our team as our planner for our wedding in May 2024. From top to bottom we could not have asked for a better team. On the catering side, the food was out of this world! The cocktail hour is the first thing people experience at the reception and Blue Elephant absolutely hit a home run on first impressions. Not only did we have a ton of hors d’oeuvres to choose from, they also let us taste a lot of them when we did our food tasting. As soon as we got to the reception we were taken to a room to relax while guests mingled, and Fausto had the chef bring us drinks and a sampling of all the passed apps as well as items from our display boards. The food for the entrees was equally as amazing, and one thing we really appreciated is that the chef came over to us and told us she wouldn’t remove our plates unless she knew we were done eating. You get so distracted in conversation that you keep forgetting to sneak in bites of dinner, but our table was set until we were done eating which was amazing. Towards the end of the party we had asked Blue Elephant to do a late night snack, and so they brought out home made pizza and everyone was loving it.
On the planning side we were equally as grateful. The two of us do not live in Maine so we knew we needed to have someone to help us with all the on the ground logistics. Blue Elephant’s price to add on a planner was beyond reasonable considering all Fausto did for us. Throughout the whole process he listened to us and gave us exactly as much input as we wanted at any time. We didn’t necessarily need help with the big picture of our wedding and Fausto never over stepped exactly the amount of involvement we wanted. Their relationship with our rental companies came in clutch more than a few times. Once we got to the actual reception Fausto was anticipating all of our needs. His eye for the design of the whole reception was spot on to what we envisioned. Any time we needed something he was there before we had to ask, and everything went off without a hitch. Each section of the wedding was meticulously planned and flawless. At the end of the night he gave us the gifts and cards he had collected and he had even numbered all the cards to help us keep track.
If we had to do it all again we wouldn’t change one thing about what Blue Elephant and Fausto did for us. Our whole night was beyond perfect thanks to the incredible team we put together, all anchored by Blue Elephant.

Blue elephant was amazing!! They brought us our food to the sweetheart table. The food was great! Every person at the wedding told us how amazing the food was. I wound absolutely love to hire them for other events.

Blue Elephant catered our October Wedding at Brick South in Portland and did a wonderful job! Every cocktail hour app was delicious. They had a great selection, and made tweaks to accommodate our requests & guest dietary restrictions. They even made a special “Nana’s meatballs” station to honor my late great-grandmother. We had a buffet dinner and were really happy with everything & got plenty of compliments on the food! We were SO lucky to work with Dominique as our day of coordinator, too, and I can’t say enough good things about her! She was available throughout if I had questions as I was planning, helped coordinate rentals, didn’t hesitate to hop on the phone to go over details as the wedding got closer, and kept everything on track the day of! It was a relief to know I was in great hands - and she’s just a truly kind person! Everyone was very nice and professional, we were so happy with our decision!

WOW what good things can we not say about Blue Elephant and their team? Our wedding food was delicious, guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed it, and we were floored during our tasting at how tasty everything was. The owner of BE, Fausto, is so skilled and knowledgeable in the wedding industry. We also hired him as our Day of Coordinator and are so glad we did - he was a wealth of knowledge for us as we planned our Maine wedding from Rhode Island, also coordinating our wedding and tent rentals. He kept the day running so smoothly - if there were any hiccups we don’t know about them! He and his team completely took care of us, my husband and I even had a dedicated team member, Toni (shoutout Toni!!) to make sure we always had something to drink and eat. In talking with friends and family after the wedding we’ve had a few people mention how nice the wait staff was, and we loved that our guests had that experience too. 11/10 - use Blue Elephant for your wedding!!

During the planning process, Fausto was extremely communicative, helpful, and supportive in our conversations. He gave a number of suggestions, which we used to make our wedding as beautiful as we could have ever imagined.

On the wedding day, Fausto and his team made my husband and I feel incredibly special. They consistently checked in with us to make sure we were feeling comfortable and happy. Before walking down the aisle, a lovely team member helped me with scrubbing out dirt that had gotten on my dress while taking pictures prior to the ceremony, and she even offered to bustle my dress before our first dance.

Fausto was attentive and supportive through major events. He helped our wedding party with timing cues while walking down the aisle, reminded us of key transitions throughout the night, and was there to take my bouquet during our first dance. Fausto and his team paid attention to details like this throughout the entire day — and it is the reason our wedding flowed like a dream!

And the FOOD!!! We had an all vegan/vegetarian wedding and my guests are STILL talking about how amazing the food was! (It truly gets brought up to us by someone at least once a week haha). The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. This was one of the major highlights for our guests!

Blue Elephant made our wedding an absolute dream. We are happy beyond words with their phenomenal service and incredibly grateful to Blue Elephant’s kind, caring, hardworking team.

I highly recommend Blue Elephant for wedding catering. Jessica and her team could not have been better to work with - so kind, communicative, organized, adaptable, punctual, talented. They worked with us to create the perfect wedding menu that was within our means and captured our vision. They were so patient and understanding while we finalized these details. I really appreciated their attentiveness to allergies/accommodations. The catering staff was beyond friendly and polite at our wedding, and everything went SO smoothly. We hired Blue Elephant for my daughters wedding. The food was amazing - both the appetizers and the dinner. (Particularly recommend the Pulled Pork Sliders and the Beef Short Ribs). The servers, as well as the coordinators (Owners), did a great job making sure the wedding party ate and drank during the hectic picture time. This company also does wedding planning and while we did not hire them for this service it is clear that by doing this they are able to see every detail and make sure everything runs as smooth as possible. Hiring Blue Elephant was hands down the best wedding decision we made! They were so amazing throughout the whole planning process, especially when covid caused us to postpone our wedding twice. On the day of, they took care of every detail perfectly, which allowed my husband and I to actually enjoy every second of our wedding. I have been planning weddings in the Boston market for 10+ years and as a Type A, self-diagnosed control freak, I was genuinely concerned with how I was going to "Let It Go" on the wedding day and truly be in the moment to enjoy every second. But, thanks to Fausto and his entire team I did!!!

Blue Elephant Catering came highly recommended by a caterer I work with often in Boston. I booked them before ever tasting their food and honestly (the control freak in me) was nervous. HOWEVER, the moment we stepped foot into the tasting room all of my concerns were put to rest. The food was AMAZING!!!

Then, in the weeks leading up to the wedding we threw a crazy idea at Fausto... everyone in our family / friend circle often jokes about how much my husband enjoys McDonalds so we wanted to serve McDonalds fries and chicken nuggets as a late night snack... Fausto didn't skip a beat and quickly embraced the idea helping us figure out just how to make it happen.

Thanks to Fausto & the Blue Elephant team I was TRULY able to forget about the wedding details/plans and enjoy the day, all of our guests enjoyed the most delicious (Blue Elephant Catering) meal, and we all were seriously WOWed by the most elegant (haha yes!) display of McDonalds chicken nuggets and fries to cap the night!

Like I said, I have been doing this for a longgg time and truly think that Blue Elephant Catering is the best of the best! Thank you so much Fausto!!!!
