The Photographer

I have been a Fine Art Wedding and Fashion photographer for 10 years, and have recently graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Fine Art Photography. I was 5 when I picked up a camera for the first time, and being able to create art through a lens and then see it in print was absolute magic. I fell in love. From there I began putting on "photoshoots" with my Barbies, and I would go to Houston's art museums every weekend to study from the Masters. I began taking photography classes in high school, and was absolutely obsessed. I spent most of my spare time in the darkroom, and began photographing weddings and fashion at 16. The ability to create art and connect with people was fascinating to me. And now as they say, the rest is history!

Location

We are currently located in Austin, Texas. Yeehaw!! We are also based in Houston, and travel all over the country to shoot weddings and fashion editorials.

Our Philosophy

We are a Fine Art Wedding Photography studio, and love blending art and fashion to document weddings in a unique, timeless, and beautiful way. Our images have been described as candid, emotional, romantic & airy. I love making real connections with my couples and bringing out their personalities in my portraits. My photography evokes feelings of genuine love & affection, and not some overused pose that is currently popular on online. I will create images that tell the story of your wedding day in the best way possible. Being that the photography is one of the most important investments of the big day - we capture everything from the big milestones to the most minute of details. After the wedding day is over, the photographs are the only things that are left, so my assistant and I approach each wedding with responsibility, fun, and love for what we do. We love creating images that our clients can pass down for future generations to enjoy. Since we started in film in the early 2000's, we believe that nothing can replace the magic of film - so we use both traditional film and the latest professional grade digital cameras and lenses. Having vast experience in both fine art and fashion, allows me to tell our clients story through my lens in a beautiful and timeless way.
