I can't recommend Katy enough to any couple that is looking for bright, fun, and creative photography for their wedding!

I set out looking for a photographer with a "true to life" and colorful editing style, which was a little harder to find than I expected! I was immediately drawn in by Katy's fun personality shown on her website and in her gallery, which focus on the celebration aspect of the weddings that she shoots. I am blown away by the quality and sheer number of pictures that we received- over a thousand beautifully edited photos from 3 different photographers (we did pay to add on extra time!)

I want to emphasize how wonderful Katy was in making us two nerds, who had never been in a professional photo shoot before, look and feel natural in our photos... "Hey [husband], raise your chin a little, look a little bit more towards me, relax your left arm a bit and- YESSS that's perfect." She will take care of you!

Lastly, I want to speak to her talent, quick thinking, and flexibility. Since we were not local to Austin, Katy had not shot at our venue before. DO NOT LET THIS STOP YOU! SHE IS A GENIUS! We reached out to her one Saturday, and since she happened to be in DFW, we scheduled our engagement shoot within the next 24 hours. She pulled it off flawlessly, contending with rain, equipment restrictions of the venue, and short timelines! By arriving 15 minutes early to a place she had never shot before, currently in low light conditions due to the rain, she had already scoped out and planned our route of photo locations. Katy is amazing and made this miracle seem like every other Tuesday. She thoroughly walked our non-traditional ceremony/reception venue the day before the event and was incredibly prepared for everything, working closely with our coordinator and our venue contact to make sure that we got those "must have" shots!

Katy's style is exactly what we wanted, capturing all the emotions and details of our day in such a beautiful, natural way. But what truly set her apart were the little "tricks" she had up her sleeve. She knew just how to get genuine smiles and laughter out of us, making us completely forget we were even being photographed. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. They perfectly reflect the joy and love of our day!

Katy and Larry were absolutely amazing!! We ran across their website and boy oh boy did we luck out. She was always available for any questions and sent a questionerre prior to the wedding to get all the details down before the big day. Our engagement photos were one of a kind. All of the shots were so us and it was all with the help of Katy! Our wedding day went so smoothly with the awesome help with Katy. She made sure we got all the shots we needed right after our ceremony. I would recommend anyone and everyone to use honest hue as their photographer for weddings and special events!!!!

Katy is amazing! We have booked her for our wedding next year, but we did our engagement pictures with her and they turned out AMAZING. She is so personable and fun and we love getting to interact with her! My fiance and I sometimes feel awkward taking pictures but she made us feel so at ease and we had so much fun! The pictures turned out beautifully and everyone has loved them!

Katy did such an amazing job capturing the moments of my daughters beautiful Quinceanera. We will have these memories with us now for our lifetime. She is so professional and kind . My daughter was very drawn to her. We highly recommend her and would re hire her again as well.

Katy and Larry were fabulous. Katy made my totally camera shy husband feel comfortable in front of the camera, and made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. Katy took our engagement photos, my bridal photos and our wedding photos and they were ALL gorgeous!

Years later we still get compliments about our wedding and engagement photos! Katy is incredibly dedicated and was worried about the weather (in to there is horrendous flooding) so she booked a hotel in our town the night before our wedding( at her own expense!) even though she lived only an hour away. Our photos were absolutely beautiful and we were so lucky to have her!
