Katy Rox Photography provides services for weddings in the Austin, Texas, area. Not every photographer is brave enough to tackle the challenge of a star-lit wedding... I've got the experience and equipment to photograph any time of day 😎
I capture vibrant and colorful images for my amazing clients so they can remember every love-filled moment - no matter the lighting situation.
I have been drawn to night weddings since I was a little girl. My fate was sealed on one wedding when I snuck around and found the bride and groom slow dancing under the stars, just them two, and the moonlight... and me. 🤣 They didn't see me, but I will never forget that moment. It was then that I felt that I wanted to capture the love, romance, and magic I saw that night, and I am forever grateful to the more than 175 couples who have chosen me to photograph their wedding day!
Later on, I learned that weddings at night possess a certain type of magic and romance (of course), but not every photographer is equipped for it, so that's where I come in. 😉
Even if you’re planning a daytime wedding, the truth is that almost all weddings run into the night. While you dance the night away, it’s essential to ensure that you have a photographer who is as comfortable using a flash as they were photographing in natural sunlight.
My brides and grooms are kind people who love to laugh and enjoy the moment. My couples love their families and their pets just as if they were family too (heck yes!). Oh, and of course, couples who are completely in love with each other 😉
