Facilities and Capacity
The Mansion at ColoVista offers 17,000 square feet of event space. Recently renovated and situated on 700 acres of property, there is plenty for couples to take advantage of. The Mansion is downright picturesque, thanks to winding staircases, marble floors, crystal chandeliers, six fireplaces, soaring ceilings, and spacious lawns. The Mansion also offers 22 "stay n’ play" cottages on the grounds, which are set adjacent to the professional golf course.

The Mansion at ColoVista is highly recommended as a wedding venue. Reviewers praised the venue's location, value, and staff. The coordinators, Julie, Katherine, and Becky, were described as amazing, attentive, and kind. The venue itself was complimented for its beautiful scenery and the included amenities such as on-site cottages. Best Location, Value, and Vendor Team
I am a very type A person, and I did months of research on wedding venues before narrowing it down to M@CV and one other venue (UMLAUF). The M@CV was perfect on paper for several reasons: location, value, and staff. The location was perfect because we wanted to have our wedding close to Austin (great tourist destination for non-Texans), and we are Longhorns from Houston. The value of the venue is unmatched: with the rental price, we got two closets full of decor (this cut down how much I had to spend on one-time use decor and/or rentals by 90%), all the tables and chairs and steamed linens, and a team of amazing staff. I loved how the coordinators worked with me to create my vision rather than pigeon holing me into a list of required vendors (typical of most luxury venues). This flexibility allowed me to create a super personalized wedding that all our guests loved and enjoyed. (They also have all-inclusive options if that is your cup of tea.)
Julie, Katherine, and Becky were so amazing at coordinating our vendors and managing everything the day of. Katherine and Becky are so attentive and made me feel like we were the only wedding they were hosting. I must’ve sent them hundreds of emails, changing my mind about things many times, but their kindness and efficaciousness translated to all parts of the wedding planning process and into how the rest of their team performed their jobs. Everyone who worked with us from the venue was so kind and genuine.
Some other notable perks are the 23 on site cottages. We loved having a de facto “hotel block” where our family and friends could stay. It was so convenient and fun. The M@CV typically only books one wedding per weekend, so we could stay on site for two nights. We were able to do all the decorating on Friday, have the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, stay over then wake up on Saturday all ready to go. It was the best, un-hurried experience.
Our day could not have been more perfect thanks to the Mansion and the family of people there. Every time I think of our wedding day, I am so happy about choosing the M@CV and I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else with any other vendor team.
