Nicki - A Superstar
My husband and I have very high expectations, and Nicki exceeded them without breaking a sweat. There were a number of challenges Nicki had to navigate but she did so spectacularly: 1) we lived in Boston but were getting married in Healdsburg California, 2) we only had a loose vision of what we wanted our wedding to be like yet had very defined and particular tastes and wanted something super fresh, and 3) I liked to suggest alternative options even after making a decision…(brides you will understand). It seemed as though for Nicki no challenge was too big, and no family meddling was too difficult for her to resolve. Nicki is a real go-getter and gets it all done to completely blow you away on your big day.
Nicki helped us develop our wedding feel, vibe, colors, smells, and tastes over the course of several months. Between the time difference and our careers, we did not talk to Nicki often or even see each other in person more than twice before the wedding (!), yet she made every interaction feel as though we had all been friends long before we first spoke. She is professional, creative, and highly competent, but above all is passionate about the couples she works with, making what can be a stressful process instead be incredibly fun and exciting. Nicki would carve out time to talk and get to know who we were, what we liked, what was important to us, and would translate those interactions into ideas for us to consider for our wedding - anything from drinks to linens to flatware to flower choices. She customized all of her vendor recommendations based on what was important to us, yet gave us enough options to feel that we had done our diligence. Her reputation in the Bay area is stellar among vendors and venues, giving you full confidence that you’ve made the right choice long before you even know what your wedding will be like! Ultimately what I think is most valuable about her planning abilities and experience is Nicki curated and designed “our” wedding, not just a wedding, resulting in an event that felt truly authentic and reflective of who we were.
Leading up to our wedding and on the day of, Nicki was always nearby for any questions or issues, her approach to life with a sense of humor is also highly worth mentioning as it kept us calm the entire way through planning and day of, and made it incredibly fun, something you don’t often hear about a wedding planning process! She earned our complete trust and would take charge at all the right moments through the process. She completely blew us away upon arrival at the venue. She had sketched out over email and walked us through in person of how the space would look, but my husband and I, and all of our guests, could not have been more astounded by the results of Nicki’s fine eye, unparalleled attention to detail, bespoke design, and ingenious creative senses. Seriously award-winning. She was thoughtful in her design to complement the already naturally gorgeous outdoor venue to be even more effortlessly luxurious and elegant, while also flawlessly executing upon a very high-touch and personalized guest experience. Any problems that arose on the day were resolved quietly and quickly in the background, no one, including us (!), ever noticed a thing, maybe everything really did go perfectly! We had many vendors and Nicki took command and delivered a seamless, life changing event for us and our 120 guests in beautiful wine country. Everyone was a VIP! One last piece about the day of that I hope resonates with you couples reading this is that on our wedding day, we were able to feel present and soak in every last moment knowing Nicki was by our side, something we are so deeply appreciative of Nicki for when we look back on it.
Nicki established a true personal connection with us, as I’m sure she does with all of her clients and anyone she meets because she is just that kind of person. Truly Incredible Consultant
I reached out to Nikki based on a friend’s recommendation and am so grateful for her wedding consultation help! I had such a low budget for my wedding but had hopes for what it may look and feel like. She responded so quickly, and her very first suggestion was exactly what I dreamed of! And within my price range! I couldn’t believe it. I had been slowly becoming more stressed and sad about the planning process, but Nikki single-handedly found me the perfect fit, provided other great vendor recommendations, and was always so responsive and encouraging. She helped only because she is so kind, and you can just tell she has a passion for her work. She also has such an amazing eye. So happy to have found her!!

You Need Nicki
When we started planning our wedding, we were convinced we could convince a Type A organized friend to do some general coordination the day-of and be done with it. We didn't want to spend the money on someone we didn't "need." We were wrong.
We found Nicki through our venue (Triple S Ranch in Calistoga), and after one intro call, we knew we needed her. Our venue was a little quirky, but she knew exactly what to do and was there for us the whole way: giving early advice, recommending fellow vendors as needed (who were in our budget or less!), helping us make decisions we had totally forgotten to make, and making sure we weren't worried about anything during the actual wedding day. She is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and kind, and we trusted her immediately - any decision I wasn't sure about, I asked what she thought we should do, and she was always right.
Nicki was organized and on top of everything. We were working largely in Google sheets, and she made several of her own that we collaborated on in the months before the wedding. At one point, she even did a (gorgeous) detailed drawing of the venue just to show us where all the tables would be set up and how we should think about rentals. When we weren't sure the rental list was what we wanted, she went through line by line, called up the caterer and rental companies herself, and got us what we needed *and* wanted. She was also scrappy and resourceful - she made welcome signs and table assignments, had extra blankets for when it got cold at night, and offered up a variety of candlesticks, lanterns, boxes, and greenery as filler decor. For someone who didn't want to think about every last detail but also didn't want it to look haphazard or unfinished, she was a lifesaver.
Nicki was amazing at navigating family dynamics and moving people around so that they were at the right place at the right time. She made sure we had a few minutes to ourselves right after the ceremony, sending in cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in so we could catch our breath before running (and dancing) around the rest of the night. We can not say enough good things about her (and Luis, her lovely assistant!). She was absolutely STELLAR, and we were grateful to have her.
Nicki Wolfe is wonderful to work with. She has a talent for details and the ability to improvise when needed. Her ability for multitasking with grace and precision is rare. It's obvious to me Nicki Wolfe Events + Spaces is a cut above the rest. We look forward to working with Nicki on future events. Don R. Garrett
