    Nikki made the event perfect

    Having worked in the events industry for many years, I have high standards — so when I met Nikki, I knew she was the right fit to plan my niece’s wedding. My sister and I came in with different visions, and Nikki skillfully brought our ideas together into one beautiful, cohesive day.     Nicki is simply the best!

    We recently worked with Nicki and wanted to share our experience. We hired her for a full wedding planning and design package and she was by far the best decision we could have made during our wedding planning process!

    We were blown away by her extensive knowledge of local vendors. She knew all the best vendors in the area (and which were a great value for the price) - it was a huge win to have a team of vendors who were reliable and did their job so well.

    Her intuition when it came to our design and creating a cohesive look was incredible. She really understood our vision and helped us bring it to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. We went into the process not knowing what aesthetic we wanted, but Nicki was able to help guide us to a design that felt uniquely us.

    On the day of our wedding, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment without any stress because we knew that Nicki had everything under control. She was attentive to every detail and made sure that everything ran smoothly.

    Our guests told us it was the most beautiful and most fun wedding they had ever attended. That's the best kind of feedback to receive! We owe a huge thank you to Nicki for making our wedding day so memorable.

    Look no Further- Book with Nicki!!

    We absolutely loved working with Nicki as our planner! We got married at Ru's Farm on June 4th 2022 but booked Nicki as early as February 2021. It was seriously the best decision we could have made! I do events for a living and if I say to book Nicki than truly look no further. Nicki was organized, had amazing recommendations for every vendor, and knew our venue SO well. She not only was our planner but became a close friend through this entire process. If I ever had a question- she wouldn't hesitate to answer an email or jump on the phone and listen to my hundreds of questions or concerns along the way. To top it off, she also has an amazing design eye- something that I was really looking for in a planner. Our wedding was everything and more and a huge part of that was thanks to Nicki!

    Nicki is the best!

    We LOVED working with Nicki to plan our wedding at a private estate this past summer! From the first call I had with her, I felt like Nicki totally understood the vibe and vision that I was going for. She felt like a friend I had known for years, which made planning way less stressful and actually really enjoyable. I really like that I could be totally 100% real with Nicki and she would give me the same realness. She came with a lot of awesome ideas (based on years of industry experience) but also was open to my ideas and helped me refine them and make them workable. She managed challenging family dynamics with grace and was a trusted support while navigating all of the challenges that came with planning a Covid wedding. She has great vendor relationships too - everyone adores her and loves working with her. Added bonus - she also does amazing signage and it was really nice to have her be able to handle that too since she understood exactly what we wanted. Nicki even went above and beyond for us when a last minute, unexpected hitch happened right before our wedding. She totally handled it so that we could have a carefree wedding weekend. She's got a great design eye and you'll love working with her. Our wedding turned out more incredible than we had ever imagined!

    Lucky, lucky us!

    If I could leave Nicki a 10 star review I would. She held our hand and guided us through not one, but TWO weddings: the small, Covid-style wedding we had to pivot to at the last minute in 2020 and then the big party we had originally dreamed of a year later. Throughout this two year marathon she was there for us whenever and however we needed her. In what could have been an insanely stressful time, she helped us to feel calm and organized and to actually enjoy the wedding planning process. After every meeting with her, my husband and I talked about how much we love her. And when the time came for our big wedding party, Nicki made the entire weekend feel seamless and easy and fun. It was everything we had been hoping for! And many of our guests commented on how amazing Nicki was; how she seemed to think of and take care of absolutely everything. Nicki is just one of the most thoughtful, creative, easygoing, hardworking, fun, and bad-ass women you'll meet. We felt so lucky to have her by our side as we planned our wedding(s).

    Absolute Angel!

    I cannot say enough about how incredible Nicki is. I literally thank my lucky stars everyday that she became apart of my wedding planning process. It was so important to me that my creativity, unique style and attention to detail shine through at my wedding. Nicki completely translated my vision into the most gorgeous event I've ever seen. She's also the reason I felt completely calm and relaxed at my wedding. I just knew everything would be perfect based on the pre-work we had done together and as another fellow type A, Creative. She went above and beyond to relieve me of any stress. My only regret is that I didn't meet her sooner, but now she's stuck with me for life! To all you brides out there, look no further. Nicki is your person!

    Amazing Experience

    We absolutely loved working with Nicki. She was so patient, helped me work through my concerns and hesitations and provided great advice whether it be the overall design and vision or working through the flow. She is very personable and clearly gets the job. She was always available when I needed a quick answer and was easy to schedule longer conversations. I did not worry about a thing on our wedding day because I had so much trust in her and knew she would take care of us. Which she absolutely did! So many of my friends and family also noticed her thoughtfulness, professionalism and expertise on the wedding day. She literally handled everything. Would highly recommend! We miss her already!

    Nicki is, quite simply, the best! Could not have done it without her.

    Nicki was an irreplaceable part of our wedding weekend and a true joy to work with. Her talent for visual design and making an event come to life through thoughtful touches is beyond anything we've ever seen. 
    We started working with Nicki right after we signed our contract with Ru's Farm in Healdsburg. She has planned literally dozens of weddings there and knows the setup cold (and is friends with the owner!), so we felt comfortable that she would be able to handle any issues in the lead up and day-of (which was, in fact, true!). She helped us assemble an A+ team of vendors, many of whom she had worked with before, which further strengthened our confidence (and also, some of them gave us discounts because they love working with Nicki!).
    She also helped us bring our vision to life, even though we had trouble articulating it at the beginning. We trusted her artistic / visual sense entirely, and deferred to her on many decisions around color / tables etc which we didn't have a strong point of view on. The whole thing came together wonderfully in the end, and we got so many compliments on every single aspect of the event.
    And, Nicki helped us stick to our budget by identifying things that were / were not worth spending money on, in line with our overall goals. She also had a number of table-related items that she brought for us for free (eg runners, table numbers, box for cards, etc.) - it was so nice not to have to purchase all of that ourselves. She did all of our signage and table cards for an extra fee that was 100% worth it - the signs looked lovely and again, so nice not to have to worry about that part of the wedding.
    Finally, Nicki was FUN to work with. She has a great sense of humor and genuinely loves what she does. My favorite Nicki moment was when I was stressing out about day-of makeup, and she sent me a video of her applying her own makeup with hilarious commentary to show me that I could, in fact, do my makeup on my own if I wanted to. During the day of, she kept us calm and laughing, and she was so kind with little touches throughout (e.g., packing up some desserts for us because we didn't have time to eat them). We had so much fun working with Nicki and would do it again in a heartbeat.
    The only thing I would note is that Nicki dives into the details at various points throughout the process but not at all points. Therefore, if you are type A like me, you will find yourself doing a lot of the organization / reconciliation in between Nicki's deep dives every few months. I didn't mind, because I so valued Nicki's creative talent and knew that my own OCD would mean I would end up doing a lot of the organization anyways. And, Nicki would always respond whenever I texted her, so I never felt that we were out of sync.
    Bottom line, we were SO happy working with Nicki and would highly recommend her!

    Smooth sailing

    I was really glad we worked with Nicki & her staff for our ranch wedding. She handled a lot of the details and made sure everything ran super smoothly the day-of. She did a great job of taking care of stuff and not "bothering" us with it. She was a great help with family dynamics, and that was huge. If you are considering a planner, Nicki is a great way to go. Our day was truly special.

    Nicki is amazing!

    Hiring Nicki was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. We don't live in CA so we leaned on Nicki a LOT for recommendations on all of our vendors and they all wound up being wonderful. There were times when I would frantically reach out to Nicki for help or suggestions and she was always cool and calm, and ready with the perfect response. She had a very thorough document that really helped us with all the details that we wouldn't have thought of on our own.

    Nicki is so personable that I felt like I had known her for years, even though we didn’t actually meet until a couple months prior to the wedding. I am still so impressed that she is so professional yet super fun. She did a fantastic job of keeping things on schedule and working with our vendors. She also had so many details covered (dealing with all the signage; providing things like blankets for guests, candles, a card box; saving us time and money by letting us use her table numbers; etc.) - she is definitely an expert in this field. Honestly, my husband and I are just so thankful to Nicki for all of the work that she did for us - our wedding day wouldn’t have been nearly as beautiful and fun without her. We’ve gotten so many compliments on our wedding and it’s all because of Nicki! I truly loved working with her!

    The only negative: That we live on opposite ends of the country. I wish she was my neighbor so I could see her everyday - she really is an amazing person!

    How can we summarize how amazing Nicki is to work with???? She is exactly what we needed when we didn’t even know what to look for. She is responsive, creative, collaborative, funny, helpful, sweet, professional, detailed, and experienced! Everything went perfectly with her involvement. We are beyond grateful to have found her and I know our weekend (yes, she helped plan the entire 3 day event) wouldn’t have been as memorable or gone as smoothly without her. THANK YOU NICKI! :)

    Make Nicki Your First Call...Seriously

    Nicki was recommended to me by a family friend, and it was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. Nicki just makes everything easier and BETTER. She listens to your vision and then makes it happen. She has amazing relationships with vendors, and was sensitive to budget requirements and priorities. But best of all, she's just amazingly fun to work with. After our first call, I knew I'd be in good hands, and I was. I'd 100% work with Nicki again.

    Truly Incredible Consultant

    I reached out to Nikki based on a friend’s recommendation and am so grateful for her wedding consultation help! I had such a low budget for my wedding but had hopes for what it may look and feel like. She responded so quickly, and her very first suggestion was exactly what I dreamed of! And within my price range! I couldn’t believe it. I had been slowly becoming more stressed and sad about the planning process, but Nikki single-handedly found me the perfect fit, provided other great vendor recommendations, and was always so responsive and encouraging. She helped only because she is so kind, and you can just tell she has a passion for her work. She also has such an amazing eye. So happy to have found her!!

    You Need Nicki

    When we started planning our wedding, we were convinced we could convince a Type A organized friend to do some general coordination the day-of and be done with it. We didn't want to spend the money on someone we didn't "need." We were wrong.

    We found Nicki through our venue (Triple S Ranch in Calistoga), and after one intro call, we knew we needed her. Our venue was a little quirky, but she knew exactly what to do and was there for us the whole way: giving early advice, recommending fellow vendors as needed (who were in our budget or less!), helping us make decisions we had totally forgotten to make, and making sure we weren't worried about anything during the actual wedding day. She is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and kind, and we trusted her immediately - any decision I wasn't sure about, I asked what she thought we should do, and she was always right.

    Nicki was organized and on top of everything. We were working largely in Google sheets, and she made several of her own that we collaborated on in the months before the wedding. At one point, she even did a (gorgeous) detailed drawing of the venue just to show us where all the tables would be set up and how we should think about rentals. When we weren't sure the rental list was what we wanted, she went through line by line, called up the caterer and rental companies herself, and got us what we needed *and* wanted. She was also scrappy and resourceful - she made welcome signs and table assignments, had extra blankets for when it got cold at night, and offered up a variety of candlesticks, lanterns, boxes, and greenery as filler decor. For someone who didn't want to think about every last detail but also didn't want it to look haphazard or unfinished, she was a lifesaver.

    Nicki was amazing at navigating family dynamics and moving people around so that they were at the right place at the right time. She made sure we had a few minutes to ourselves right after the ceremony, sending in cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in so we could catch our breath before running (and dancing) around the rest of the night. We can not say enough good things about her (and Luis, her lovely assistant!). She was absolutely STELLAR, and we were grateful to have her.

    Nicki will make your wedding day uniquely you!

    Nicki made our wedding day immaculate. She was creative, energized, and accommodating throughout the process, helping us find those unique touches that would make the day so special. She went above and beyond -- she drove to a farmers market to get fresh fruit to put on our tables, dressed our arbor with flowers from a connection of hers, and met with us as regularly as we needed throughout the process! Nicki is so well connected and was able to help us get great deals and a true local vibe.

    I'm very type A, and Nicki was a great complement. My biggest advice is to fully trust her! She made sure every minute detail came together, and was a true friend through the process. We're going to miss planning with Nicki; she really is the best.

    Nicki - A Superstar

    My husband and I have very high expectations, and Nicki exceeded them without breaking a sweat. There were a number of challenges Nicki had to navigate but she did so spectacularly: 1) we lived in Boston but were getting married in Healdsburg California, 2) we only had a loose vision of what we wanted our wedding to be like yet had very defined and particular tastes and wanted something super fresh, and 3) I liked to suggest alternative options even after making a decision…(brides you will understand). It seemed as though for Nicki no challenge was too big, and no family meddling was too difficult for her to resolve. Nicki is a real go-getter and gets it all done to completely blow you away on your big day.

    Nicki helped us develop our wedding feel, vibe, colors, smells, and tastes over the course of several months. Between the time difference and our careers, we did not talk to Nicki often or even see each other in person more than twice before the wedding (!), yet she made every interaction feel as though we had all been friends long before we first spoke. She is professional, creative, and highly competent, but above all is passionate about the couples she works with, making what can be a stressful process instead be incredibly fun and exciting. Nicki would carve out time to talk and get to know who we were, what we liked, what was important to us, and would translate those interactions into ideas for us to consider for our wedding - anything from drinks to linens to flatware to flower choices. She customized all of her vendor recommendations based on what was important to us, yet gave us enough options to feel that we had done our diligence. Her reputation in the Bay area is stellar among vendors and venues, giving you full confidence that you’ve made the right choice long before you even know what your wedding will be like! Ultimately what I think is most valuable about her planning abilities and experience is Nicki curated and designed “our” wedding, not just a wedding, resulting in an event that felt truly authentic and reflective of who we were.

    Leading up to our wedding and on the day of, Nicki was always nearby for any questions or issues, her approach to life with a sense of humor is also highly worth mentioning as it kept us calm the entire way through planning and day of, and made it incredibly fun, something you don’t often hear about a wedding planning process! She earned our complete trust and would take charge at all the right moments through the process. She completely blew us away upon arrival at the venue. She had sketched out over email and walked us through in person of how the space would look, but my husband and I, and all of our guests, could not have been more astounded by the results of Nicki’s fine eye, unparalleled attention to detail, bespoke design, and ingenious creative senses. Seriously award-winning. She was thoughtful in her design to complement the already naturally gorgeous outdoor venue to be even more effortlessly luxurious and elegant, while also flawlessly executing upon a very high-touch and personalized guest experience. Any problems that arose on the day were resolved quietly and quickly in the background, no one, including us (!), ever noticed a thing, maybe everything really did go perfectly! We had many vendors and Nicki took command and delivered a seamless, life changing event for us and our 120 guests in beautiful wine country. Everyone was a VIP! One last piece about the day of that I hope resonates with you couples reading this is that on our wedding day, we were able to feel present and soak in every last moment knowing Nicki was by our side, something we are so deeply appreciative of Nicki for when we look back on it.

    Nicki established a true personal connection with us, as I’m sure she does with all of her clients and anyone she meets because she is just that kind of person. We miss Nicki dearly and endorse her for your wedding planning if you are looking for a truly special, unforgettable experience both in the planning process and on the big day.     Nicki is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner...AND SO MUCH MORE! My husband and I were amazed by the number of people in Napa and Sonoma County who knew Nicki's name and raved about her work...and we felt so lucky to have her on our team. TRUST NICKI. Nicki really knows what's up, she is the perfect description of someone who has "all the feels", can transform any venue in to the perfect space, and keeps the evening organized but so, so fun. Our bridal parties and families loved and respected her so much too. Not only will you want Nicki to plan/coordinate your wedding, you will want her to be your best friend too.     Oh man, if you want someone who goes above and beyond for you as your try to navigate the wild world of wedding planning and maintain your sanity (and bank account) in the process, call Nicki!

    Nicki pulled out every trick in the book to help us find creative ways to make our vision a reality within our budget, suggesting ways to cut corners where it wouldn’t matter so we can put our cash and energy towards the elements of the weekend that would have the biggest impact for us and our guests.

    There were numerous occasions when we were drowning in decisions where Nicki swooped in with straight-up pep talks, and she introduced us to so many incredible vendors and insider hook-ups which all came together to create a more magical day than we could have ever imagined for the relatively small budget we were working with. Plus, she has a genius eye for design and incredible calligraphy skills, so definitely take her up on her beautiful signage if you can! I feel like as many of our guests posted pictures of our gorgeous menu board that Nicki made as they did of us!

    Bottom line — Nicki is the sweetest, goofiest, most generous and TALENTED badass planner you could ever hope for. It was so, so relieving to just not have to worry about a damn thing once the day got rolling since we knew Nicki had every detail under control. THANK YOU SO MUCH, NICKI!!!

    Nicki personally creates the most beautiful day unique to each individual client. I'm the anti-bride so didn't really know where to start with centerpieces and place settings. Her ideas were magical! We were inspired by cotton and put full faith in her vision. Of course, everything was absolutely gorgeous!!
    Nicki was a delight to have around before and during the event. We loved our check-ins leading up to the big day.     We LOVE Nicki! Really the best decision we made. Having done our wedding at our home in Santa Rosa, with hundreds of logistics to put together, Nicki was essential in helping us pull it off. She made the week up to and day of effortless. We got to truly participate in our wedding...not be managing or planning a minute of it in the day we were wed. She had great ideas, listened to our vision, and ensured it fit exactly our aesthetic. Cannot recommend her enough. If you're reading this and wondering if you need a planner - trust us, you need Nicki.

    One of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process was hiring Nicki. I used to be an event planner and I am a wedding photographer so I am pretty versed in the whole process, but there is no way we could have pulled things together without her. Our destination wedding was planned in four months at a venue where we had to bring in everything and basically in the middle of nowhere. Once we hired Nicki she dove right in. She was responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding, not just with logistics, but with creative projects as well. She created signage for us, wrote out our table assignments, styled things, brought props to make everything look cohesive and was basically just a godsend. She even let me ship a ridiculous amount of stuff to her before the wedding since we are from Chicago. After the wedding everyone was RAVING about her. I am in awe of everything she pulled off by herself. She is kind, down to earth and extremely hard working. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and hire Nicki, you will not regret it.

    Nicki is AMAZING. Hands down. I loved her styling on her website - and things I had seen in person, and new she had to be my wedding coordinator. She was only supposed to do "day of" services, but our styles jived so well, that she helped out along the way. Highlights include a trips to the venue ahead of time to lay out the floor plan, a trip to our rental company together to pick out table settings, linens, and little extras, her awesome signage that she made for our wedding, and hands down, the most above and beyond thing Nicki did for us was making sure our gifts got to our house the night of and day after - along with leftovers from our caterer! It was nice to know my Dad could just and her the house keys and we could trust her with everything. This girl is phenomenal. We didn't know a ton about vendors either and we wound up going with the florist and caterer that Nicki recommended and both were AMAZING. Another great thing - when the wedding day came closer and I started to add things to our day, Nicki would remind me of our budget and tell me that the things I was thinking about wouldn't matter in the end. I would highly recommend Nicki! She made our wedding day AMAZING!!

    You need Nicki in your life! We loved working with Nicki for our wedding - she was invaluable! She came highly recommended through a friend of a friend, so we set up an initial call and immediately I knew she was exactly what I needed. We were on a tight timeline (4 months!), so we needed to be organized and didn't really have time to make errors. She was full of creative ideas when we got stuck, she was great at reminding us when we needed to make timely decisions, and she was great at pointing out things to think about on the sight visit. Also, a good voice of reason when we started to get carried away - so easy to do when planning a wedding. She is patient, resourceful, thinks on her feet, creative, pays attention to detail, great at on-the-spot decorating, and is amazing with your guests - from your inappropriate uncle to your mom to your grandparents to your friends who might've had one too many. I loved having her as part of our day! She also has great working relationships with many vendors and spaces - making things all the easier. On our wedding weekend, we showed up and our seating plan had to be totally redone to reflect the set up of the actual tables and chairs (they were permanent fixtures at the venue). She immediately took care of it, helped create a new table chart from scratch, and it looked as good if not better than the table assignment board I had ordered! She was a god-send for us in planning our wedding and think everyone can benefit from a little Nicki Wolfe in their lives.

    Nicki Is THE BEST at what she does. Planning your dream wedding! I interviewed many wedding coordinators and didn't feel like any of them understood my or my husband's vision. As soon as I spoke with Nicki on the phone I knew she was the one I had been waiting for! She was attentive to every last detail of our wedding and kept me calm throughout the entire process. Something not working right with a vendor? NO BIG DEAL to Nicki! She had everything taken care of and neither I nor my family had to worry about a thing. We had an unconventional wedding at a ranch and had to rent every last candle, fork and knife and we used a family friend who is a chef as our caterer and needed all the equipment. There were a lot of vendors giving their input about what they thought was best for our big day and Nicki was able to take it all in and turn it into something magnificent. She give the best advice and leadership possible and was so supportive of our choice of a caterer. She made sure that our caterer friend had everything she needed to make the most amazing wedding meal for 80 people. My guests raved about Nicki's organization, performance, and beautiful touches. She made such amazing chalkboard signs and provided us with the best team of professional assistant, waiters and a bartender who pulled off the evening without a hitch!!! She was available to me through email and phone throughout the entire planning process- directing me when I got lost or did not know what to expect or how to go about something. Nicki is a true artist and a joy to work with! Thank you for making my wedding a dream come true that I am still swooning over months later! We could not have done it without you!

    Nicki is the BEST. We hired Nicki to be our "day of" coordinator for our November 26th wedding at Triple S Ranch, but she was SO much more than day of! She gave some great recommendation for vendors throughout the planning process as well as kept everything organized. The week of, she made sure everyone we had hired had a very detailed plan so that they knew when and where they were supposed to be. Like the review below - we also had to create a rain plan, which we ended up using, and it ended up being unbelievable beautiful thanks to Nicki's resourcefulness!

    Day of - I barely saw her (which I kept hearing was a good thing) and the day ran EXTREMELY smooth. We were told by almost everyone that it was the "best" party they had every been to, and I can say that it was mostly due to Nicki and her awesomeness.

    Nicki is amazingly creative, smart, savvy and ahead of the trends! She was so much fun to work with and was there whenever I had questions, needed advice etc. She helped us create the most beautiful day ever and recommended the best vendors. I am in the food business so deciding on a caterer was a huge stress to me and she nailed it! She gauged my personality and my food likes and found the perfect caterer (Amiee D'Maris) for us. Honestly, all the vendors she recommended were amazing and she helped coordinate all these details with ease, leaving us stress free about these decisions. Her style is dynamic and beautiful. She is vivacious and lovely to work with! I highly recommend her services. Our wedding was classy, beautiful, and gorgeous. The best day of our lives and Nicki was an integral part of making this happen. Love her!

    Nicki is UNBELIEVABLE!! She was the "day of" coordinator for my daughters wedding but she was SOOO much more than that. She helped us every step of the way and pulled off a miracle when my daughters outdoor wedding was rained out and we had to find an alternative. She transformed what we were worried would be an uncomfortable place into a beautiful space that will give us all wonderful memories.
    There are not enough words to express how fantastic Nicki is or how lucky we were to find her and how grateful we are for her.
    Trust me if you are looking for an event planner for anything you will definitely be impressed with Nicki!

    The best decision my wife and I made (besides marrying each other) was hiring Nicki to be our wedding planner. From the start, she was super fun and inspiring to work with. She kept us on track, talked us off the ledge more than once, met with us multiple times on-site, was available by email and text, gave great ideas and suggestions, and was overall a wonderful person to have on our team. Our guests who got to meet her at the wedding LOVED her. That being said, she took care of every tiny detail and stayed for the most part behind the scenes. Every aspect of wedding planning and our wedding weekend was more beautiful, more fun, more relaxed, and more attended to because of Nicki and her many, many talents. My already married friends want to have another wedding so that they can work with Nicki. She is that amazing and more. Seriously, hire her.

    Nicki is so easy. She came recommended by a great friend who is stylistically different from me, but both of our weddings were so perfect and effortless on the day-of because of Nicki's mastery. She is so great to be around, has incredible design insight, command of people (even potentially difficult situations) , and empathy for making the day magical. We miss her already!

    Nicki was our day-of coordinator and was wonderful to work with--she knows how to make events work and =,had great ideas and advice, but was always clear that her job was to help us to fulfill our vision. She really made our wedding better, and took away a lot of the stress of the final days. During the event, she handled everything with our venue in a really low key (invisible) way. She is also a really fun nice person. I would totally recommend her.

    We couldn't have done it without her. I'm so glad we hired Nicki. I only wish we had done it sooner! (She has a lot of great connections). I was looking for a day-of coordinator. I worked off a short list of recommendations. A number of planners had carefully curated lists delineating exactly what was offerred. Necessary perhaps - but also confusing. I didn't know EXACTLY what I needed. I just knew I wanted my wedding day to work. I spoke with Nicki for about 10 minutes over the phone and liked that she sounded down to earth, grounded. She had a background in catering. She knew how to make spaces beautiful (something I thought we already had covered but needed Nicki for in the end). She didn't present me with a convoluted list. We simply had a conversation and she immediately started working with me. Nicki knows start to finish allll the details that need to come together to create a successful wedding. She puts 110% percent of herself into her job. She's calming. Easy to reach. Hyper organized. She arrives early. Stays late. She works VERY well with vendors. We had a somewhat tricky situation: we were getting married at a restaurant but using outside catering. The restaurant was wary of our choice. Nicki made it work. It would not have worked otherwise. She knew important questions to ask that I would never have thought of, and I have catering experience. She helped me continually revise and check things off a seemingly never-ending to do list. Day-of I breathed easy while she managed setup (linens, flowers, the arch, the dj, catering etc), the ceremony itself (my wedding party, ME), the tricky transition via bus from the ceremony site down the hill to the reception hall, then the reception itself. Nicki is adept at putting out potential fires and keeping things running smoothly. She does it all with a calm demeanor and smile. My close friend is now hiring Nicki. I can't say enough good things about her. You can trust, with Nicki, your big day will be fantastic.

    Nicki was our planner at Triple S Ranch in Calistoga and I was so glad we hired her. Nicki was awesome for a variety of reasons, but namely, she made the whole day run smoothly, so that I didn’t have to think or worry about anything, at all.
    She is so friendly and familiar with the venue, she kept me super calm, yet excited the whole day. I trusted she had everything handled, and she absolutely did!
    Nicki knows SSS Ranch extremely well, which was a huge positive working at this venue where everything is brought into the venue. It seems like she knows (and is friendly with) everyone, which was great to see.
    Nicki was a fantastic planner because she listens to you, gives great recommendations, and is friendly and fun to work with. I highly recommend her as a wedding planner!

    Nicki is magical

    Our venue recommended Nicki and we're so glad she did. There were so many things on the day of that I didn't have to worry about because I knew Nicki would take care of it. My husband and I are pretty laid back and Nicki fed off that and our guests noticed. We had a fun and relaxing wedding day, which is exactly what I wanted.
    We started out with a budget, and while we didn't necessarily stick to it, Nicki did help us cut corners where we could cut corners, and let us splurge when she knew it was important to us. She has a great relationship with all the vendors in the area and she was able to help facilitate the 'dream team' we chose.
    As for responsiveness, I spend my day at my computer and therefore have high expectations for responsiveness, and not having planned a wedding before or worked with a wedding planner, I don't know what is 'normal'. No deadlines were missed by any means and we got our answers when we needed them. I also found that half the time, I could just text if I really needed something answered, and that worked great!
    Seriously, Nicki is amazing! Hire her!

    Planning a wedding can be a little crazy but Nicki will help you put all the pieces together (and tell you when you are missing pieces you didn't even know about). She has a great eye for event design and is very knowledgable about local vendors. Tip: hire her BEFORE any other vendors (except maybe venue) - she will give you invaluable advice on the options available. She was a huge help during the planning process, but where she really shines is day-of. There were a lot of unexpected issues that arose during our wedding and Nicki was able to problem solve, adapt, and most importantly, make sure me and my husband were shielded from the problems. Nicki also makes fabulous signage for your wedding - so hire her to do that and take it off your to-do list. Thank you Nicki for going above and beyond for our wedding!
