We were lucky enough to work with Brie Oglesby to plan our wedding in Texas! From the moment we started planning our wedding with Brie, we knew we were in good hands. She is organized, attentive to her clients and their needs, resourceful, and had incredible suggestions to make our wedding day even more memorable, and also recommended some amazing vendors to us that we would not have thought to book on our own. Not only is Brie an incredible wedding planner, but she is also caring and compassionate towards her clients. When it became more and more real that COVID was going to affect our wedding plans in some aspects, Brie was very reassuring to us and made sure we did not worry about a thing, and she went above and beyond to make sure that we did not feel stressed out when planning our wedding during the pandemic. Brie took care of everything for us from pre-planning to the day-of coordination, making sure every little detail was taken care of. And we had the most incredible and unforgettable wedding weekend. I wish I could give Ashlee and her team 100 stars! WOW I am so beyond thankful we decided to go with Mrs. Planner for our recent December wedding. When visiting with potential planners, Ashlee was the only planner that asked me "What do you want guests to remember from your day?" I loved that and knew I could trust her to execute on my grand vision for the day! Ashlee is so sweet and fun and is also the organization queen! We met several times leading up to the wedding and she even came to my final planning appointments with vendors to ensure they would deliver exactly what they needed to on the big day. She created a wedding drive for us to collaborate on which helped keep me organized and also managed all of the set up and tear down on the day of the wedding. This was all huge for me as I did not want my mom or other family members to have to worry about anything. I wanted them to be able to just enjoy the day! As soon as I met with Sarah the first time, I knew I wanted to hire her. She was super easy to work with and we got along very well. And it was all at a great price. I hired her for 'day of coordination' which is really more like 'month of' coordination. I'm very Type A so I thought it would be hard to relinquish control, but with Sarah it wasn't. I was very confident in her abilities and on the day of the wedding I wasn't worried about a thing, she took care of it all! I highly highly recommend Sarah at Mrs. Planner!

Sarah did a great job Coordinating my daughter’s Wedding and I highly recommend her if you are interested in a Wedding Planner and/or Event Coordinator. The following are just a few of the reasons why:

Sarah is a great listener – key to understanding what we wanted. In our case we needed an Event Coordinator. We had already planned the Wedding – having booked the venues, hired the vendors, designed the reception, and established the event timeline. I spoke with over 20 Wedding Planners before I talked to Sarah. They all wanted to tell me what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and what I needed to do. Sarah was the only one who listened first, asked questions, and then discussed how she felt she could fit into our plan.

Sarah was very quick to grasp our plan and vision for the reception. She was a good sounding-board and great collaborator - offered insight and perspective on items, when solicited. Her experience, knowledge of wedding planning, and personality made it very easy and pleasant to work with her.

She approached the role professionally and is clearly capable of executing the Wedding Planner responsibilities. She can capture concepts and work with details – both vital in ensuring expectations are met.

Handing off the day-of coordination effort was easy, realizing it was in capable hands. The transition of responsibility went well. Sarah took the lead and I supported her on the very few occasions where she requested my input or to confirm a minor adjustment/alternations.

Sarah did a fantastic job coordinating the vendor setting-up for the reception in the Bullock Texas State History Museum. It was a large event and we had a relatively short time duration to prepare the Rotunda and Main Hall.

She has a great rapport with the vendors. She can and does not mind making decisions. She solicits input, when necessary, prior to giving direction.



Sarah executed the event flawlessly. She was on top of action and implemented a contingency plan when it began to rain just prior to the couple’s departure

She completely relieved us of any responsibility the day of the event, allowing us to totally immerse ourselves in the celebration and the moments, as they occurred.

Mrs. Planner Was fabulous on all levels they are extremely professional, courteous, and always avaliable to help with any bridal need she is so knowledgable about all things wedding and planning. She is full of great ideas and made my wedding day so relaxed I didnt worry about a single thing. I would highly reccomend her to anyone.

Ashlee was always an invaluable asset to our wedding. Prior to the wedding day, Ashlee made herself available for contact to my wife, and our multiple vendors to discuss different schedules and ideas for the wedding to ensure that all aspects fit perfectly into the vision that my wife was working for. Throughout our entire engagement, Ashlee went to every meeting with every vendor we coordinated with. After meeting with our photographer, florist, venue, caterer, and DJ, Ashlee continually followed up with them so that everyone knew where we stood at all times. This communication was so valuable because if at any point something changed, Ashlee was capable of make the change without there being any stress to my wife, or any particular vendor. As the big day got closer, Ashlee made multiple trips to our apartment to set up display tables to showcase what the cake table, welcome table, and center pieces could look like using the decorations that we had. When the rehearsal finally got here, Ashlee led the entire group according to a precise schedule and kept everyone on track to make certain that our time was spent on the most important aspects of the wedding ceremony. This not only helped the group to understand their roles in the ceremony, but alleviated virtually all stress from my wife so that she could enjoy the night and the wedding day.
For these reasons alone I would recommend Ashlee to anyone planning a wedding, but her services on the wedding day made me understand how a wedding planner can turn an event into a life-changing day. Ashlee arrived at the venue at 11:30, seven and a half hours before our ceremony, with two assistants and with the flowers from our florist so that no one in our family would have to make the trip to Dallas to gather them. After arriving, Ashlee immediately set to work on setting up the tables and centerpieces to the exact specifications she had worked out with my wife weeks before. In addition to decorating the inside of the venue from top to bottom, Ashlee and her assistants decorated the outside of the venue in the same rustic theme that she had captured using the decorations that she and my wife worked on together. As the ceremony drew closer Ashlee directed family and friends to their seats and gathered the wedding party so that they knew exactly what to do. When two of my groomsmens' tuxedo buttons snapped off as we were about to walk down the aisle, Ashlee and one of her assistants jumped in to action, pinning the buttons back on to the tuxedos and then pinning the jackets shut, without us losing a beat. My wife and I were able to enjoy our entire wedding day, because Ashlee coordinated with our vendors throughout the day, and kept everyone on schedule as the day went on. I can't imagine what our wedding day would have been like without Ashlee's help, but I can say definitively that Ashlee's skill and professionalism helped make the biggest day of my life, the best day of my life.

Ashlee was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! We hired her for month of coordinating, but she was a great resource to us throughout the planning process. Five stars isn't enough for Ashlee Voda! This was the single best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Ashlee kept our family happy throughout the entire wedding planning experience. My parents, Jeff and I loved every single second of planning due to having Ashlee there to handle the details and stressors. We had so much fun with the venue shopping, vendor meetings, food tastings, etc. which Ashlee arranged, negotiated and facilitated from day one. I highly recommend booking her for the full package. We had monthly and weekly calls to make sure we were on track. She handled many of our vendor meetings for us, as well as many of the minor details on the wedding day which made our lives so much easier. I don't think we stressed out once during the entire year, all because of having Ashlee in charge. The wedding day was PERFECT for my husband and I, as well as our parents. We knew we had Ashlee and her team to trust with everything and we just showed up, got married, and celebrated! Ashlee took care of everything: bus schedule, making sure all vendors rec'd their tips, facilitating the entire day, making sure Jeff and I were well taken care of with food and drink, ensuring that all of our stuff made it back to the hotel on the buses...I could go on and on. We also enjoyed getting to know her personally; she loves her clients like friends and my entire family grew very close with her during the wedding planning process. If I had to describe her in five words: overly-organized, confident in her skills, helpful with decision making, creative with ideas/suggestions, and a "get-it-done" person. I am SO thankful to have had Ashlee as a planner and a friend. We already miss her and the wedding planning process...it was seriously that much fun.
