Mary Ann was an absolute HOOT to work with! From our first meeting with her, we knew she was the perfect fit for us! She completely understood the vibes and vision we had for our wedding, from the ceremony music to the last song of the night. She has the best personality and is so enjoyable to work with! She respected our suggestions, but also used her insanely talented creativity to make the night even more fun than we could have imagined!

For the next several days after the wedding, everyone was raving about our DJ! They were saying that she curated a perfect atmosphere, was an excellent MC, and several even asked if we had a playlist from her!

She knew how to get the room going when needed, knew how to be professional and navigate first dances/cake cutting/etc... seamlessly, and seemingly had eyes and ears everywhere! A DJ can truly make or break a wedding experience, and if you want a safe bet, MA is 100% the way to go! We would absolutely hire her again in the future or recommend her to friends for their wedding needs!

MA is the BEST!!!! We hired her for our wedding and it was the best decision we made. Both us and our guests absolutely love her. From our very first meeting to the day of our wedding we knew that we were in great hands with Mary Ann. She does a wonderful job of getting to know you as a couple and the stories behind your favorite songs to better understand the atmosphere you are hoping to create on your wedding day. Mary Ann also worked hard to keep our dance floor packed and to keep us on schedule for the night. Our reception flowed flawlessly thanks to Mary Ann’s transitions and attention to detail. She also did a fantastic job of playing a variety of music to keep everyone engaged and out on the dance floor. She was able to seamlessly transition between each genre and all of our must play songs. We honestly could not recommend Mary Ann more!

During the planning process, Mary Ann was extremely attentive to what we wanted. During subsequent meetings, she always remembered our requests and had meticulous notes even a year later!

She asked us what was most important about our wedding and we told her the timeline—we really wanted things to flow smoothly! During the wedding, so many guests complimented our music. She nailed the song selection and read the room like a champ. Mary Ann came very highly recommended to us by two of our friends who employed her services for their weddings. We had a very short engagement and were thrilled that we were able to book her given the brief three months that we gave her to set up for our big day.

She was such a pleasure to work with and we are so grateful for the advice she shared with us as well as the patience she had for us in our indecisiveness and seeming inability to meet deadlines. She was always happy to give feedback on and accommodate my goofier song ideas where I was able to fit them in.

She is a true professional and we were really at ease knowing that she had everything handled alongside our day-of coordinator with regard to keeping the event on schedule, announcing us at the right time, corralling guests and pulling them aside when they needed to be gathered for photos, etc. The evening went without any issues whatsoever - even with a rain shower that almost threw our schedule off - and all the minute-by-minute items on our day-of schedule were nailed to a tee. She had a huge hand in the fact that we were able to actually be present and enjoy our own wedding day as opposed to running around like maniacs checking things off of a to-do list or wondering where we were supposed to be at any given time.

She does a really great job with song selection too and played all the music I gave her as well as some of her own picks which was really helpful in the situations that I struggled to come up with ideas of my own. She is very thorough (but not tediously so) in the way she tries to get to know your music tastes and we never for a minute worried about what song was going to be playing next. She has a great talent for reading the room and playing the right tracks at the right time.

As I told her after our wedding was wrapped up, if I had to go back and plan everything over again I would have picked her again ten times out of ten. Do yourself a favor and book her if she is available for your event!

We hired Mary Ann as our DJ for our March wedding, and we absolutely LOVED working with her! From start to finish she was helpful, responsive, and made the whole process so easy. Mary Ann is more than a wedding DJ - she truly felt like a friend and she set the tone for our entire wedding day! She has incredible attention to detail and made sure our music selection was exactly what we wanted and would keep our guests on the dance floor. She made so many helpful suggestions from the timing of the first dances, to the bouquet toss, to the length of our ceremony music. She even took the time to download instrumental versions of specific songs for my dad and I to sing during the reception. My husband and I were pretty laid back about wedding planning, EXCEPT when it came to the music. Our personal preferences are not exactly in line with a “typical” wedding reception playlist, but I still wanted our guests to have a great time on the dance floor. It turned out we had nothing to worry about, thanks to MA. I knew from our phone call prior to the wedding day that we would be in good hands, and she exceeded our expectations.

Our dance floor was packed all night, and many of our guests commented on our fun and unique music selection. We told MA prior to the wedding which songs were most important to us, and she made sure to play them only when my husband and I were available to dance. She was happy to play some “unusual” requests, but only after checking with my husband and me to make sure we approved. Thank you MA for making our wedding night truly unforgettable.

We started working with Mary Ann back in 2019, when we were planning for April 2020. We postponed our wedding three times, and Mary Ann was incredibly gracious and flexible throughout the process, making the difficult decision to change our date incredibly easy to implement. For three years, every time we told another vendor that Mary Ann was our DJ, we heard nothing but the highest of praise. "You're in great hands!", "Oh she's the best!" Mary Ann absolutely lived up to the hype. She took time before the wedding to talk with us about what we imagined for our music to ensure the night would be exactly what we expected. She encouraged us to think hard about things we'd never considered -- like dinner and cocktail hour music (we ended up incorporating a playlist we used at our downsized COVID event into that time) and which version of Hava Nagila we wanted for the Hora. Since my husband's family is Puerto Rican, we provided a Spotify playlist of Merengue and Salsa music, which she expertly interwove with Motown and pop to keep both sides of the party on the dance floor all night. And when our cousins who requested the Wobble turned out to be the only people at the party who knew the dance, she stepped out of the booth and became a dance instructor. You will not find a better DJ -- I could not recommend Mary Ann highly enough!
