Superior Sounds did an amazing job!!! My husband and I had different ideas for music at our reception, but our main prerogative was wanting our guests to dance and have a good time. I talked to Mike about this and gave him a wide range of music we liked and he put together an amazing playlist! It was seriously wonderful! I don't think the dance floor was ever empty, so many people stayed to the very end, and lots of people said very nice things about the music. My father-in-law said it was the best playlist he had ever heard! And one of my father-in-laws close friend and co-worker came to him at work on the following Monday and said he hadn't danced in years!! But he danced at our wedding and had an great time!! :) Also, I never met with Mike in person, but I talked to him on the phone a few times and he was so helpful :) Thank you so much Superior Sounds!!

Mike went over and beyond to make our wedding music great and catered to us and our crowd! He also provided the ceremony music! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and I have received many compliments from my guests as to my music!

Superior Sounds was awesome! We met with Mike and spent some time with him talking about our musical tastes, which are different than most and are quite varied. Our reception was a day time reception upon our return from Vegas. The music was perfect! Every once in awhile my husband and I would look at each other in amazement that Superior Sounds did their research and made sure they played the music we asked for. As we were doing our rounds at the tables, several guests commented on how wonderful the music was and asked where we found the DJs. One guest even said "The music was the perfect ingrediant to a lovely reception, WHERE did you find the DJs?". The music was wonderful and helped to make our reception exactly what we wanted it to be. Their attire was great, very professional, and they even gave us mix CDs of our reception music. I would highly reccommend Superior Sounds!

Superior Sounds was awesome! We met with Mike on Thanksgiving weekend in 2010, and the day after our meeting I called and booked them. They were the only DJ service I had actually met with too. They had two of them at our wedding, and all the guests loved the music! I would highly recommend them.

Mike Housewright is a fantastic guy! I had Superior Sounds for both DJ and Videography. The video is exquisite! All of our guests commented how much they loved the music at our reception too! Awesome to work with! Simply the best!

They were very professional and on time. Anytime any of the wedding party requsted a song they played it RIGHT away. They were friendly and really got the crowd going. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. The two DJs I had were Mike Housewright and Bob.

The men at Superior Sounds are awesome. They make sure they have every last detail how you want it before the day comes. They are friendly and keep the reception moving and have some great music!

Setting things up was pretty easy. We did have some changes that took a while to be incorporated. Also we had some no play items that were played when our selected music ran out. However, we had all of our music picked out and lots of requests and the DJ really knew how to play the crowd. People didn't stop dancing all night. THere were a few minor wrong songs played that we only picked up on because we were so into the music but overall, a great job and he kept everyone dancing all night. Without the great DJ, the party wouldn't have been going so strong!

I really enjoyed my music. They were very helpful with the planning, but at the wedding we fell behind schedule which was a little frustrating. Overall though the music was great.

I would like to start of by saying that they are very nice people but I need to be honest about the service. We had put a lot of thought and work into out songs and naturally wanted everything to go off without a hitch. We put together a CD of songs (in the order they were to be played) and then TYPED up a list of the songs (again, in order) with the song's name, artist, and when it was to be played (cake cutting, daddy/daughter dance, etc). I had given him this CD and list and talked to him about it before the wedding. At first everything was fine (for the ceremony). Then it came time to be introduced. He played the wrong song for our grand enterence but there was nothing that we could do so we just went with it. Then, during the toasts he introduced my MOH by the wrong name. We had chosen classical music for dinner music and all I kept hearing is Disney songs (Don't get me wrong, I love Disney, but there is a time and place for it). Later on the wrong song was played for when the groom was getting garter. I'm not sure what happened. I know for a fact that the CD and list had all the correct songs (I had listened to the entire CD before I gave it to him). Again, these people are very nice but I feel like we made it almost impossible to mess up and yet it happened anyway. :(
