Ashley with Lisa Pleasant Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we started working with her, we felt completely supported and confident that everything was in capable hands. As our partial planner, Ashley stepped in exactly where we needed guidance—keeping us and all of the various vendors organized, answering our endless questions, and helping us navigate all the moving pieces that come with planning a wedding.

She provided incredible vendor recommendations, helped us refine our vision, and made sure no detail was overlooked. I had changed my mind several times about certain details, and she happily made all the changes without making me feel like a burden! On our wedding day, Ashley went above and beyond in ways we will never forget. She had our signature drinks waiting for us immediately after the ceremony, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel so taken care of. During our ceremony-to-reception flip, a table accidentally fell, and without us knowing, Ashley completely cleaned everything up and redecorated the entire table beautifully. I truly would have never known anything had even happened—she handled it so seamlessly and calmly.

Because of Ashley, I had absolutely ZERO stress on our wedding day. Everything flowed perfectly, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy every single moment. Booking Lisa was the first step in our wedding process and from the start she was so helpful! Once we picked a venue she connected us with her employee, Emily Whitmore, who was our wedding planner. Emily did such an amazing job. She was there to answer any questions we had (and let me tell you we had LOTS of them). She had so many good referrals for other venders (because picking venders can be overwhelming so we went with referrals from Emily for most of them). The day of went so smoothly because of Emily. People always asked if I was stressed and my response was always no and I think that’s mainly because of Emily.

We had the absolute best experience working with Ashley for our wedding on 11/15/2025. From the moment we started the planning process, she made everything feel smooth, organized, and genuinely enjoyable. She brought so much laughter and calmness to what could have been a stressful time. Throughout the entire wedding day, Ashley was truly exceptional. We received so many compliments from friends and family saying how on top of everything she was. She didn’t just take care of us, she took care of our entire wedding party. Any small issue that popped up, she handled immediately (even tracking down our transportation when needed!). Because of her and her amazing assistant, our day ran flawlessly from morning to night. We had an October wedding at The Biltmore in Asheville. It is a very busy time of year for the wedding industry, but she made us feel like we were the only couple in the world. I cannot in one short review name all of the things that I appreciate about Lisa and her team. This is my family‘s second wedding event with Lisa at the helm – one was a backyard wedding and the other a destination wedding. In both cases, the event went off flawlessly. Lisa is a meticulous planner with endless unique ideas but equally as careful to capture the vision and desires of her brides. She and her team exude professionalism, precision and calm. Every task is tracked, every i dotted and t crossed. Her skills made the wedding planning process a delight and it has been a great relief to know that she is on top of every detail. If we had issues with vendors, she advocated for us. In fact, I’m confident there were a myriad of issues that probably arose but we never knew about them because Lisa handled them in such a way that allowed us to simply enjoy the day.
