Highlands wedding of our dreams!

When I started planning my wedding the first thing I researched was the best planner in NC and immediately found Lisa! From the very first call we had she felt like a friend I’ve know forever and I knew I could trust her with our big day and boy did she deliver!! Lisa and her team are masters of their craft but what really sets them apart is how personable they are and truly how much they care about the couples they work with. When I say no detail was missed I mean it. She was all over our vendors to ensure we made our deadlines, guided all of our design session, crafted the timeline to perfection and day off I didn’t lift a finger. I thought I would have been a ball of stress day of but between Lisa and Gianni I had total peace of mind that everything was under control.

I cannot thank Lisa and team enough for making the wedding of our dreams come true and would highly recommend them to any future brides out there!

2025 Wedding Review!

Literally the best planners I could have worked with. Lisa and Valerie were AMAZING. Responded quickly about anything, so sweet, planned our wedding so well and everything went so smoothly and I wasn’t stressed because of them. They nailed down every detail to a tea and took care of so much. They have so much great experience, knowledge, and are super professional. On top of that, they are such great people.

BEST Decision We Made

Ashley with Lisa Pleasant Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we started working with her, we felt completely supported and confident that everything was in capable hands. As our partial planner, Ashley stepped in exactly where we needed guidance—keeping us and all of the various vendors organized, answering our endless questions, and helping us navigate all the moving pieces that come with planning a wedding.

She provided incredible vendor recommendations, helped us refine our vision, and made sure no detail was overlooked. I had changed my mind several times about certain details, and she happily made all the changes without making me feel like a burden! What stood out most was her professionalism paired with genuine kindness; she always made us feel heard and never once made the process feel overwhelming. Also, all of our vendors had wonderful things to say about working with Ashley!!

On our wedding day, Ashley went above and beyond in ways we will never forget. She had our signature drinks waiting for us immediately after the ceremony, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel so taken care of. During our ceremony-to-reception flip, a table accidentally fell, and without us knowing, Ashley completely cleaned everything up and redecorated the entire table beautifully. I truly would have never known anything had even happened—she handled it so seamlessly and calmly.

Because of Ashley, I had absolutely ZERO stress on our wedding day. Everything flowed perfectly, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy every single moment. We are beyond grateful for Ashley and the entire Lisa Pleasant Events team. If you are considering a planner, Ashley is hands down the planner you want on your side.

The best!!!

Booking Lisa was the first step in our wedding process and from the start she was so helpful! Once we picked a venue she connected us with her employee, Emily Whitmore, who was our wedding planner. Emily did such an amazing job. She was there to answer any questions we had (and let me tell you we had LOTS of them). She had so many good referrals for other venders (because picking venders can be overwhelming so we went with referrals from Emily for most of them). The day of went so smoothly because of Emily. People always asked if I was stressed and my response was always no and I think that’s mainly because of Emily.

Flawless Wedding Planner

We had the absolute best experience working with Ashley for our wedding on 11/15/2025. From the moment we started the planning process, she made everything feel smooth, organized, and genuinely enjoyable. She brought so much laughter and calmness to what could have been a stressful time. Throughout the entire wedding day, Ashley was truly exceptional. We received so many compliments from friends and family saying how on top of everything she was. She didn’t just take care of us, she took care of our entire wedding party. Any small issue that popped up, she handled immediately (even tracking down our transportation when needed!). Because of her and her amazing assistant, our day ran flawlessly from morning to night. Not a want but a NEED

I don’t have enough words to describe how thankful we are for Lisa Pleasant Events, specifically our planner Danielle! Danielle was a perfect fit for us. We had an October wedding at The Biltmore in Asheville. It is a very busy time of year for the wedding industry, but she made us feel like we were the only couple in the world. She was prompt with her responses, thorough with her plans, involved but not overbearing, and executed everything we planned PERFECTLY. She worked with all our vendors amazingly. She made sure our wedding day was above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. There is absolutely no way we could have had the experience we did without her. Absolutely the BEST!

I cannot in one short review name all of the things that I appreciate about Lisa and her team. This is my family‘s second wedding event with Lisa at the helm – one was a backyard wedding and the other a destination wedding. In both cases, the event went off flawlessly. Lisa is a meticulous planner with endless unique ideas but equally as careful to capture the vision and desires of her brides. She and her team exude professionalism, precision and calm. Every task is tracked, every i dotted and t crossed. Her skills made the wedding planning process a delight and it has been a great relief to know that she is on top of every detail. If we had issues with vendors, she advocated for us. In fact, I’m confident there were a myriad of issues that probably arose but we never knew about them because Lisa handled them in such a way that allowed us to simply enjoy the day. I cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Best wedding planners ever!

My husband and I recently got married in Winston-Salem, and honestly, one of the best choices we made was hiring Lisa Pleasant Events. We worked with Ashley throughout the planning process, and she was absolutely amazing.

From the start, Ashley made everything feel so easy and stress-free. She really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted, and then worked so hard to make it all happen. She was always on top of every little detail, super organized, and somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly without ever seeming flustered.

On the day of the wedding, I didn’t have to worry about a thing—which is such a gift. Ashley handled everything behind the scenes so we could just enjoy the day. I truly don’t know what we would have done without her.

Best decision for our wedding

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Lisa Pleasant Events for full planning services (and even for our rehearsal dinner)! We worked with Paula Pinto throughout the process, and my husband and I can't say enough good things about her. She was organized, conscientious, creative, and fun! The whole planning process was smooth from start to finish, and we truly couldn't have done it without her. Not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day--I almost couldn't believe it! It was perfectly organized and orchestrated, and best of all, my husband and I were able to enjoy our day and not worry about anything because Paula had everything under control! She was calm, diligent, and upbeat on the wedding day--we actually got compliments from guests about how great she was and that they want her to plan their weddings! A necessity for your special day

Im here to say it doesn’t matter how organized you are you need a planner. I work very long days in the car business. We chose a very lavish venue but we wanted a very simple wedding. Good food and people we love bring together was most important. Since I wanted simple I thought for sure I could handle it. For months I stressed, don’t get me wrong I was doing it and would have been just fine with the outcome but I didn’t have the time. I reached out to Lisa on a Saturday morning fully anticipating to hear from her on Monday. To my surprise she asked if I could call that day. The amount of information she provided in that one call BEFORE I had even agreed to hire her services were astonishing. While she made me feel proud of what I had accomplished so far my biggest reason for reaching out was fear of forgetting little details. She ran through a lot and quickly I knew I wanted her team with me on my day. Valerie was assigned to me, a literal ANGEL. Our first meeting was long and so detailed. We felt so comfortable. Walking out my Fiance said after one meeting it was well worth it. Any time I reached out to her she was quick to respond and give me advice. The day of the wedding quickly arrived and the only worry I had was if I would choke up on my vows. I didn’t have to look out a window, answer a question, or even think about anything going on outside. The day went so smooth it was like a dream. After a very long day with tired dancing feet we only had to focus on getting home. Everything was already in vehicles and ready to go. While I had all the faith in my Venue and their staff I truly couldn’t have done it without Lisa and Valerie. I will forever be thankful that on a Saturday morning I chose to reach out. Wholeheartedly recommend!!

There aren’t enough words in the dictionary or hours in the day to begin to describe how grateful I am for Lisa and Emily!! I reached out to Lisa in panicked despair looking for full planning services 4 months before my wedding. She responded to me quickly (she somehow manages to always respond quickly) and had a long consult call with me that reassured me that she was exactly who I needed to be working with. Within days, we got the whole process going. Lisa’s attention to detail and level of organization are extraordinary. She was kind and patient while answering the numerous random questions I came up with. As the wedding got closer, she spent so much time making sure that I felt comfortable, reassured, and ready. Emily was my day-of coordinator, though she was very involved throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, she was a calming and positive presence for me. She kept every single moving part running smoothly, even as it rained throughout the day. So many of my guests commented on how friendly, professional, and on top of everything she was. Thanks to Emily and her wonderful assistant, Elle, I was able to just focus on enjoying and making the most of my wedding day without any additional stress. Most Important Touch

If you’re getting married in Charlotte - you should hire Lisa Pleasant Events! I had the opportunity to work with Paula Pinto and even a month after our wedding, she is still what everyone is talking about! She treated my family like her own and made everything seamless and stress less. My mother and father were amazed; Paula would do something important hours before they would ever even think about it. I can not praise Lisa Pleasant Events enough!!! My wedding was above and beyond what I imagined and that is largely due to my incredible planner, Danielle Girard! Danielle was so patient, kind, flexible & trustworthy throughout the entire process. I really had no idea what I was doing, but Danielle ensured I didn't miss a detail and I used many of the amazing vendors that she recommended. Day of went seamlessly! I literally wouldn't have changed a thing. Best Wedding Ever

If you are getting married, you HAVE to hire Lisa Pleasant Events. From the first introductory call, I knew Lisa and her team were the one for us. She was professional, knowledgeable and warm. After understanding what I was looking for and my personality, she matched me with my planner Alex.

Alex was absolutely incredible as our planner and our coordinator. Ever since the first meeting with Alex a year before our wedding, she totally put our minds at ease and I just knew that we had nothing to worry about. She was organized and laid out our timelines almost immediately, which surprisingly took away almost all my stress. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and it was amazing. We cannot say enough how thankful we were for Alex. Obviously the day of can be a crazy time but she handled it like a pro. She did a feminine product run for one of the bridesmaids, she had to deal with a couple rude guests, had to fix my broken bustle multiple times, packed up everything at the end of the night and just knocked everything out of the park. I'm sure there were a million other things that she handled without me even knowing about it because that's how great she is! :) She was so professional, sweet and amazing. We had multiple guests even comment on how amazing Alex was.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I would hire them all over again!

Worth the Cost: Even The “Planner” Personality Needs a Wedding Planner

Before deciding to look for a wedding planner, I had 514 items on my wedding to-do list. I thought I had everything covered, but my mind kept coming back to: “I don’t want to miss anything on the most special day of my life.” I knew that I had a solid foundation of things I THOUGHT I needed to do, but day-of wedding coordination was something I wanted to find so the stress could be more manageable and I could be certain everything would fall into place.

Our introductory phone call was incredibly comprehensive! The tools and resources that Mackenzie shared with me were instrumental in the planning process. Excel docs, planning sheets with timelines… trust me when I say, these are the thoughtful, comprehensive tools that cannot be found online. So many of these fantastic planning suggestions were ones that were NOT ON my list of 514 things.

It also just helps so much to have planners on-site whose sole responsibility is to make sure everyone is in the right place. We did the majority of our pre-planning with Mackenzie, and on the day of, we also had the support of Danielle (two planners with us). Example (picture #2) of some of the little things that are key to your special day - wedding planners can guard the door to ensure the most incredible wedding moments, like first looks, are not interrupted!

If there were any emergencies on my wedding day, I know nothing about them because everything was perfectly handled behind the scenes. I’m so grateful my husband and I got to focus on just each other. You’ll see in these pictures - the second to last one is my husband thanking the planners and all of the vendors in the room for the most incredible day. Last picture - us with Mackenzie. I wanted to make sure to get one with her as I was crying happy tears about how wonderfully the day went.

So - are wedding planners worth the extra expense, even for the “planning” personality? 1000% yes, and I highly recommend Lisa Pleasant Events.

Cannot recommend enough!!

Hiring Lisa and Ashley was the best decision we could have made in the wedding planning process. If you are reading this and contemplating- just message them, you won't regret it! I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from this team. We had a 14 month engagement and Ashley was by my side (full planning) every step of the way. She answered every question I had, had recommendations ready at every step, and truly made the planning process seamless. I was able to completely enjoy our special day and even the whole week of the wedding because Ashley is so proactive and organized. Everyone we interacted with from Lisa's team was so professional, genuine, and talented. Ashley became an extended part of our family and I'm so grateful for the relationship we built! Lisa's team is so flexible and they really treat every wedding as if it is the most important and special event in the world. Seriously, it's worth it. I would hire them a million times over!

Absolutely Incredible

Ashley from Lisa Pleasant Events helped my husband and I plan our wedding. She worked with us for over 9 months and took all the stress of wedding planning off our shoulders. She communicated amazingly, responded promptly, and was able to make our vision a reality. Excellent Wedding Planners - Great Customer Service

Our oldest daughter's wedding was at the Ballantyne Hotel this past October. About a year before the wedding we hired Lisa Pleasant Events to help plan the wedding. We worked with Lisa Pleasant and Alex Dean. Both are very professional, excellent communicators, very responsive, and are wonderful to work with overall.

Their attention to detail is first rate. They made the wedding as stress free as a wedding can be for all involved. Lisa and Alex are well connected and respected in the wedding industry. They provided the wedding couple with an excellent list of vendors for their consideration. And they helped us stay on budget.

The weekend of the wedding Alex and her assistant made sure that every little detail was taken care of so the wedding party and their guests could enjoy the wedding and the reception, and simply have fun. Everyone had a great time!

When our youngest daughter gets married she said Lisa Pleasant Events will be her first choice for a wedding planner. We agree!

Wedding planner

When I first inquired about a wedding planner I spoke with Lisa. She assured me she had the perfect woman for the job and she did not disappoint! Mackenzie was so fun to work with. She was professional & stayed on top of literally EVERYTHING. She never missed a beat and she always communicated thoroughly with us. I would choose her over and over again. Perfection!

Lisa was amazing to work with. She and her team seamlessly executed our event the day of. There was no detail forgotten, she kept track of our payment schedule for all of the vendors, and made our wedding day and planning process stress free!! She was well worth her professional fees and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Very Helpful!

Paula and Mackenzie were amazing!!! We work with them about 6 weeks before our wedding. They pointed out things we missed or didn't think of- which was VERY helpful. They did a great job the day of at making sure everything ran smoothly and there were no mishaps. They also helped make sure everything went home with us at the end of the night. A great experience

It has been a great pleasure working with Mackenzie from Lisa Pleasant Events. She is truly AMAZING!! My husband and I were both out of state and we were planning a wedding in 4 months. Would not have been the day I dreamed of without them

Danielle, Emily and Lisa are amazing. My husband and I eloped and planned on having a big sequel wedding back east where we met (also closer to all of our family and friends) the next year. We knew it had to be in July in order to take a week to travel and have my step son with us. Aside from knowing the month and year and general location, planning was sidetracked by the birth of our daughter (although I couldn’t ask for a better distraction). Once past those first 6 weeks where you are in survival mode with a newborn, I realized I only had 3 months left to plan the wedding while taking care of the baby or put it off another year. I could not have done it with them! We wanted a venue where we could have more than a day or two with family and they helped us find one. Photography was huge on my list and I felt much more confident picking photographers knowing the team had had experience with them. I felt very confident with all my vendors instead of worrying did I pick one or more that wouldn’t be reliable.
My baby was my priority. Plus I wanted to enjoy time with her and not have every day be about wedding planning. So as the day got closer I worried I just didn’t have time for everything (due to budget we went with partial planning). I knew my venue would be amazing, but I wondered if the day would fall short of what I’d always dreamed of so I tried to keep my expectations low. But they worked to keep us on track of our to do list, kept up timelines and spreadsheets I would not have had time for, and made sure we traveled to NC with everything we needed. Our wedding day was more than I dreamed of! We were able to enjoy the day, each other, our guests and soak in the food, decor and everything else we’d chosen. It ran so smoothly. I am so glad we decided to make room in our budget for planners and that we chose Lisa Pleasant Events. They were reliable. Responded to questions quickly. They were understanding of the 3 hour time difference during planning and didn’t let on when we probably drove them nuts taking on time on several decisions!
Thank you for everything! I can’t believe it’s over but you all helped to make the day, week and memories better than I every imagined!

Amazing, comprehensive, and professional

Not even sure where to start. MacKenzie was absolutely amazing every step of the way. We were out of state planning a wedding in 5 months and there is no way we couldve came close to pulling off our perfect wedding day without her. She gave us options based on our style and budget every step of the way. She kept our timeline and kept us on track of payments. Was available for calls when we had no idea what we were doing. She made curated list of items we needed to bring. We aren't really sure how we are going to plan the rest of our lives without her! We had the pleasure of working with Ashley for our part time planning and day of coordinator. From the beginning, Ashley always went above and beyond. She did everything to prepare for our big day. Planning Perfection in Every Detail

There are not enough words to explain why the Lisa is the ABSOLUTE BEST wedding planner you could ever ask for. Her consultation/planning process is more thorough than I thought possible and she asked questions I would have never even thought about to piece together the perfect day for us. You never really think about things like when you would want your first dance during the reception or why it matters to you. She understands how different the experience can be from one type of couple to the next. For us, we are more shy and nervous about having the attention directly on us, so she guided us through every moment for ourselves and for our families. I was the most unorganized and last minute bride possible, and she stayed on top of everything. She is the only reason our day was ready and absolutely perfect. On the day of the wedding, she put together all of the different details and elements flawlessly. It was more beautiful than I dreamt it could be. She was also so kind, supportive, and perfectly professional. I always hear people say they regret not having a planner but I don’t think we would have even made it to that day without Lisa and her team. If you or anyone you know are getting married Lisa Pleasant Events has to be your first phone call! Lisa and Alex were amazing to work with for our daughter's wedding 2/4/2023 in Charlotte NC. Their communication, details, vision, professionalism and advice was invaluable. Lisa and Alex brought our daughters vision to absolute perfection! Amazing wedding planner!

We interviewed nine potential wedding planners and Lisa and Mackenzie (our primary planner) stood out to us for their approachability, thoroughness, and experience with organizing larger weddings and working at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Mackenzie did an exceptional job of utilizing the wedding venue space to the fullest. She did a great job of designing an event that allowed plenty of opportunity for guests to connect and enjoy the garden. We received a lot of compliments from guests about how much fun they had during our wedding. Mackenzie and Lisa possess excellent judgment about suggesting what would and would not work well for our wedding. The band leader, praised how "elegant" our wedding felt without being over the top.

Because of the excellent organizational work, my wife and I had a very fun and enjoyable wedding weekend! People kept asking us if we were stressed - and truthfully, we were not because we knew that the wedding planning was in good hands

Mackenzie and Lisa were very responsive and did a great job ensuring that our planning was on track during a relative short period of time for planning.

Their cost was in the higher range, but we felt that we received excellent value with savings they found with vendors. We appreciated that they charged a flat rate rather than a percentage of total wedding cost, creating good financial alignment. We could not be more happy with their work! We are happy to provide a strong, positive reference!

Best Wedding Planner Ever!

My wife and I couldn’t have met a better person and wedding planner than Lisa Pleasant. We initially contacted Lisa in December 2017 with our intention was to get married in 2019 or perhaps 2020. A number of crazy events happened that were out of our control, which caused delays in the wedding date. But, we were finally able to have our wedding in April 2022! In those 4+ years, Lisa was always there to provide her expertise and guidance on everything from save the date invitations, to recommendations on hotels for our loved ones, tasting menus, wedding dress suppliers, event locations, DJ, wedding officiant, transportation, band, flowers, wedding cake and desserts…and every other wedding related logistic possible! She was always available for our questions, even if we had to speak later in the evening due to work schedules, etc. During the wedding planning process, Lisa became a friend to us and we are extremely grateful we met her. In the end, we had an amazingly beautiful and PERFECT wedding event and we literally couldn’t ask for it to be better for everyone involved. We are extremely fortunate to have had an exceptional wedding planner, but we are also very blessed to have made a friend. Exceptional Wedding Planner

My husband and I got married in June in Boone, and hiring Lisa and her team was one of the best decisions we made in the process!

The family property we got married on was a blank canvas, perfect for our dream wedding, but had no electricity, water, bathrooms, etc., so we needed a wedding planner who was not intimidated by all the logistics of this outdoor wedding. Enter Lisa! She was organized, had excellent communication, was responsive, and 1000% executed my precise vision.

Additionally, Lisa had great recommendations for vendors. All of the vendors we worked with had previously been vetted by Lisa and her team, and they did not disappoint (the food, florist, and the photographers especially!). Her recommendations were hugely helpful since I live in Charlotte and all my family lives in Maryland, so we needed a trusted source to guide us in the right direction.

I could go on and on about how wonderful Lisa is. If you are considering hiring Lisa, I could not sing her praises higher, and you will not be disappointed!

One of my fav's. 5 stars is not enough!

If you're looking for a Planner for your wedding, Lisa is going to be a great choice. So book her and you will be glad you did.
I am a Professional DJ and have had the pleasure of working with her on several weddings. She is always on her game and has the calmest attitude and inviting smile, even in the moment of chaos.
Just recently we worked together at a venue and the ceremony was an outdoor ceremony. There was the threat of rain, and the threat became real. I was already set up so she found help for me to get my equipment moved out of the rain. The bride wanted to wait it out to have that beautiful outdoor ceremony. That being said, I went and grabbed my tent from my vehicle to put it up. The rain stopped and my tent wasn't needed.
Unfortunately, when I packed up for the evening, I forgot that I had my tent set aside in case I needed it. So I left without packing it. 16 days later I am looking for my tent and realize I left it at the venue. I called the venue and got a voicemail. I sent Lisa a text and hoped that maybe she had it. She did not, BUT.... She emailed her contact at the venue and they had it. Lisa did not have to do that for me, yet she did and did it minutes after my text to her.
I work with a lot of Professional Planners and Day of Coordinators, and many of them I love to work with. Lisa is one, and the fact that she is there to help, half a month later after the event is complete, just goes to show that she cares about what she does. Can't wait to work with you again. Our heroes!

Lisa and her team made our wedding so much more incredible than we ever could have imagined, and gave us so much comfort throughout the process.

We planned a wedding at a family farm that had never been used for an event before, so we knew we would need a planner to make sure that we didn't leave out any necessary details. Lisa was so helpful with planning our vision of the ceremony and reception, and we even changed our planned ceremony location after she found a better fit on the property. She has amazing relationships with so many incredible vendors as well, so we constantly knew we were getting the best rates and options for everything. She helped keep the event within our planned budget and was always responsive to texts, emails, or phone calls to help calm any planning nerves we had. We had a running joke that whenever planning stress started to creep in, a simple call or text to Lisa would wipe that out completely.

On the wedding weekend, Ashley and Tammy were so, so helpful and responsive to any changes or issues. To us, the event went off without a hitch. However, two months later we are still hearing about problems that Ashley and Tammy took care of without us ever knowing. For example, a huge cold front came through just before the ceremony and brought with it massive wind gusts. We knew that the outdoor reception area experienced some blown-over items in the wind, but just recently found out the extent of rentals that blew over or were broken entirely. We will truly never know the extent of the work that Ashley and Tammy did behind the scenes, but given how smooth everything was from our point of view, that tells us everything!

We cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough!

Of all of the vendors we worked with for our wedding, hiring Lisa Pleasant's team was by far the best decision we made.

The planning process was certainly overwhelming at the beginning but we immediately felt at ease when we started working with Nina. She had great vendor recommendations and tips and completely answered all of our questions. She was super responsive and professional in all of our communications. I had always envisioned the week of the wedding as being hectic and overwhelming, but was (pleasantly!) surprised when that was not the case - Nina had everything taken care of and managed all vendor communications / logistics so we could just relax and enjoy the time leading up to the wedding. She and Alexia made a great team on the wedding date - made sure we had everything we needed / wanted (and plenty of emergency supplies in case we had forgotten anything!) and ensured that the timeline ran smoothly.

I simply cannot emphasize how valuable Nina and Lisa Pleasant Events was in making our wedding a perfect and fun event. Highly recommend to anyone in the CLT area!

We were soo happy with lisa pleasant events. At first we weren’t going to hire a planner but our venue required one so we ended up going with Lisa pleasant and that honestly was one of our best decisions of the wedding! LIFE. SAVER — Best Wedding decision we ever made!

I’m not even sure where to begin with this …. Lisa made planning our event such a breeze. I was confident in her ability to showcase my vision from the very first phone call and didn’t event shop around for other planners. We were living on the west coast at the time and planning to get married on the east coast but that time difference did not stop her from scheduling planning calls at any time of the day.

Not only did she become my confidant for all things wedding, but she executed our event flawlessly even after rescheduling 3 times (thanks Covid!).

A tough decision was made in March of 2020 to move our upcoming April wedding out to July due to Covid and the following day, Lisa had spoken to ALL of our vendors and found a common date when they were available. Unfortunately, Covid had other plans for us. We ended up scaling back and using our Rehearsal Dinner location for a small ceremony and dinner with our closest friends and family. It was perfect!

But nope, she didn’t stop there. We still wanted the wedding of our dreams once Covid worked itself out. So what did Lisa do?! She got on the phone with all of our vendors again and secured us a date in July of 2021 for ‘the main event’.

It was exactly what my husband and I had been discussing and planning (for almost 3 years at this point) with Lisa and everything went off without a hitch!

The only downside to the event is that we no longer get to work with Lisa :(

Lisa was the best! We had the most magical destination wedding at The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. The vendors she selected were top notch. She made our special day easy and stress free and we have beautiful photos and a magical video. Do not hesitate to hire her. Best decision ever!!!!

The Best Decision!!

Working with Lisa pleasant Events was one of the best decisions that we could have made while planning our wedding! Everything was perfect from the very first meeting with Lisa. She paired us with Ashley and I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Ashley! Customized experience!

Nina and the Lisa Pleasant team were amazing in helping us coordinate an intimate budget COVID affair that continually changed! They are incredibly organized, and make sure no small detail falls through the cracks! When I had a dress malfunction, Nina swooped in and made sure it was taken care of all night so I didn't have to worry about it! They were amazing and made our day something we will always remember! I would recommend them to any friend!

Hire them now! Oh my god amazing!

If i walked away from my wedding with one piece of advice for other brides it’s to hire Lisa pleasant and i mean right now. Run, don’t walk, and hire Lisa and her team. I worked with Nina, and not only did she make my day just absolutely perfect, but she is the coolest freaking person. I couldn’t imagine anyone else getting our visions totally right. She absolutely slayyyyyed. I absolutely trust Nina and Lisa pleasant events with my whole freaking life! It was the best day of my life and Nina is absolutely 95% of the reason for that! I mean my husband is the other 4% and the fun and family 1% but if you need a wedding planner and are considering it and aren’t sure please just reach out and talk to this team. Nina made sure we always had a drink on hand, she took care of me when i over heated and my dress was chaffing, she was there whenever i needed her and i couldn’t ask for anything better.

amazing planner!

When me and my husband got engaged, there were some issues that had us aiming towards getting married 3 1/2 months later. We had talked to a few planners and after we talked to Lisa, we knew she was the one. She knew what she was talking about and said she could definitely pull off planning something that quick and I trusted her. We did the full planning option. She was so organized and thoughtful. She organized easy to use spreadsheets and slideshows from start to finish had every detail organized and easy for me and my husband to understand every step along the way. When we were talking to the vendors, Lisa could answer questions about my vision when I couldn’t figure out how to answer! She’s amazing! I genuinely feel like my wedding day was literally the vision I had in my head come to life because of Lisa. I definitely couldn’t have done it without her. NOT AT ALL! I didn't have to handle anything on my wedding day, She had it all handled. I will forever be grateful for all of the hard work she put into putting together the most beautiful day! I’m also sad that we got married during COVID and weren’t able to hang out with Lisa like others did. We were also sad that we weren’t going to be talking to Lisa all the time after the wedding was over. SHES THE BEST!

A Worry-Free Wedding Day

We used Lisa for our full wedding planning and could NOT have been happier with the service, attention, and results we received.

We engaged her from the start and she was able to help us recommend places for our wedding, helped us set up a budget and sketch out what our costs would be. She was very generous with her time, and was always willing to schedule an evening out of her busy life to talk through all the details.

The day-of, she and her team were wonderful in making sure everything was taken care of and we had nothing to worry about. It was really amazing that we were able to live in the moment on our wedding day and absorb all the unforgettable things that were happening without always worrying about playing the hosts.

I would, without reservation, recommend Lisa and her team to plan your wedding!

We could not have pulled everything off without our planner, Ande. She helped keep us organized and was very responsive to my off the wall texts and emails throughout the process. I highly recommend hiring at least a partial planner, and Lisa and her team are amazing!

Simply the best.

Once engaged, my sweetheart and I decided a short engagement would be preferred, and once we found an available Saturday from our favorite venue only 2.5 months away, we decided to go for it! With such a tight timeline to plan a whole wedding, it was a such a blessing when I found Lisa. Lucky that she was available on that same day (the only day btw she had available the entire wedding season on such short notice), Lisa said she would personally work with me to plan my wedding, and she offered a discount considering the late booking. Amazing! From the very first phone call, I knew I had to hire Lisa - she was professional, clearly very knowledgeable, and patient to explain all the little details and considerations. We met in person for our first planning session later that week, and after 6 hours at a coffee shop, we had an outline / project plan of the entire wedding, including recommendations of vendors, that Lisa confirmed were available during our meeting. From that moment on, it felt like Lisa was a dear friend and I trusted her implicitly. I could not have pulled it off without her, but with her by my side, we organized a gorgeous wedding that I could actually enjoy on my wedding day, because I knew Lisa was handling everything without a hitch. Thank you Lisa! I cannot recommend her enough.

My wedding was perfect!

I had the pleasure of having Ashley as my wedding planner and she did such a good job at capturing everything I wanted at my wedding! Most people say that something will go wrong at your wedding but I can honestly say that my wedding was absolutely perfect! I had no issues the day of my wedding thanks to Ashley and her assistant. They made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process and never questioned any of my ideas which allowed

Awesome team, highly recommond!

Lisa has an outstanding team! I chose the partial package so I worked mostly with Ashley. She helped from beginning to end by making sure all details were planned before the wedding, to organizing the timeline/ensuring everyone stuck to it as much as possible, to directing clean up and making sure everything made it home. Wedding planner who let me enjoy my daughter's wedding

This was a destination wedding and Lisa and Ashley were both fantastic. Easy and very pleasant to work with. Communicated exceptionally well. Helped me with my vendors. Their timetable for the bride's family and groom's family on the day of the wedding was invaluable and well-worth the cost. I can't recommend Ande enough!!

The best wedding planning decision we made was to hire Ande at Lisa Pleasant Events! She is so organized and made sure that our day was completely stress free. Ande took on every task that I was dreading - creating a timeline, seating chart, checking in with vendors the week of, and the set up and break down of everything the day of. Ashley was the absolute BEST. After seeing her work and passion at one of my best friend's weddings, I was already comfortable with her when we began planning our wedding. Our wedding day was amazing!! Lisa, Nina, and Ande made everything perfect. We choose the option where we met with the planners up front to go through all the various details of the wedding (the different vendors we had, guest count, colors, etc.) which helped us figure out what all still needed to be done. After that we met with Nina and Ande at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden (our venue) to go over the plan and the outstanding questions we had. They also gave us an outline of where everything would be located since they had assisted with numerous weddings at Daniel Stowe before. We met with them the final time during the rehearsal the day before the wedding when we did a dry run of the timing of events. At all of these meetings Lisa, Nina, and Ande were extremely helpful, and were always responsive to any questions or concerns we had leading up to the wedding. On the actual wedding day everything went off without a hitch. Everyone was always where they needed to be, if any issues did come up we did not even know about it because Nina and Ande took care of it. Our wedding would not have been the same without their help!!!

She is the best wedding planner any bride could ask for. I could go on and on about her attention to detail, her extreme professionalism, her wealth of knowledge! I mean the list could never fit in the small confines of this review. I had a two ceremony wedding at the Biltmore estate in Asheville NC. She took both the Hindu and the christian ceremonies on with gusto and precision. By the end of it I think she new as much about Hindu culture then myself and I had been apart of it for 5 years. Also (and I think this is really important) she is fun and a joy to be around. Brides if you are reading this please heed- when you pick a planner you are picking a friend!! your planner will hear all the stress and all the joy leading up to your big day and you want someone who you look forward to talking to. Lisa totally lives up to her name is is nothing but pleasant the whole way through. Simply put i would not have gotten down the Aisle with out her.

Lisa is AMAZING in every possible way. From the moment I met her, I knew we were in good hands. She's organized, detailed, experienced, and FUN. She made wedding planning a breeze; there's no way we would have been able to have such a perfect event without her. From vendor selection to questions to last minute changes, she nailed everything. I have heard brides say how difficult and frustrating planning their wedding was- I didn't experience any of that. I had fun planning because Lisa took all of the stress out of it! She made it so that we were able to relax and really take it all in.
We can't thank Lisa and her team enough for making our day truly amazing. They went far beyond our expectations...we couldn't have asked for better people. Thank you so much for all you did! You made the whole experienced everything we dreamed of and more.

I do not have enough positive adjectives for Lisa Pleasant. Lisa turned a potential disaster into an artistic masterpiece, and every other vendor at my wedding pulled me aside to tell me that, "Lisa is the best wedding planner I have ever worked with at ANY wedding, EVER." What a joy to hear those words after the long hours of debating, "do I really neeeed a planner? Surely my aunts can make this happen." Friends, if you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, hire Lisa. Not only was she a perfect friend to me (helping me with some wedding week drama), but she fixed every name card that was totally messed up, decorated the entire venue, moved all of my massive heavy suitcases into my room, and made me laugh through the whole wedding. Without Lisa, I would've had so much on my plate, but she completely changed the entire last month of the wedding. In fact, the last week before the wedding, I didn't have to answer a single question or make any decisions, she had it covered (music to my ears). I can truly say that my family, my vendors, and I love Lisa Pleasant. When things went wrong, she was who I turned to, when things went perfectly, she was who I turned to. I cannot thank her enough for giving so much of herself to make my day run perfectly. Love you, Lisa!!!

Lisa Pleasant saved our wedding! My husband and I had planned 90% of the wedding on our own but really needed someone to wrap up all the final details. Lisa was the only planner we found who offered a reasonably priced package to pull everything together toward the end of the planning process. She thought through every detail, and the day went flawlessly. We are SO GLAD we used Lisa for our wedding!

Lisa was definitely the MVP of our wedding day and our entire planning process. She keeps you organized, is on top of everything, and has great connections with top notch vendors. Every vendor seems to love working with her. Our photographer had never worked with her before and told me multiple times how great it was to work with Lisa. She was completely supportive of our decisions and had great input from day 1. We were overwhelmed when it came to figuring out timelines and what we actually needed to do to get started with wedding planning, so we spoke with Lisa on the phone approximately 10 months before our wedding day. From day 1, she put us at ease and handled everything with our input of course. She was so rapid with her responses that I wonder if she ever takes time off! Anytime I had questions or concerns throughout the process, I'd send a quick email and she'd have answers for me. Her organizational skills are amazing and it really shows. The wedding day went along without a hitch (at least to me!) and we had the best day with the best memories. Thank you to Lisa and her team for an unforgettable experience.

Lisa and her team did an amazing job with day-of coordination for our wedding. I was very hands on with our planning and wasn't initially sure if we needed a coordinator, but ended up contacting Lisa a few months out when the logistics began to look daunting. In hindsight, it was one of our best wedding decisions! Right from our initial meeting, Lisa's wealth of experience and incredible attention to detail was obvious. She thought of everything and was invaluable in communicating with our vendors, wedding party and families in the days and weeks leading up to our event.

On our wedding day, Lisa's team seamlessly coordinated everything from all corners of our venue - my family called them the "wedding ninjas"! From bustling my dress to shepherding our large families for photos, she did it all gracefully, with a sense of humor, and always making sure my now-husband and I were happy and having fun. She was also by far our most responsive contact, always texting, emailing or calling back amazingly fast at any hour - which goes a long way in the midst of all the planning! We can't recommend her highly enough!

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with Lisa Pleasant and Ashley Gregg. Lisa assisted us in planning our big day for over a year. She was extremely reliable and eager to answer questions and meet several times to help plan! She always was prepared, professional, and excited for us. Ashley was fantastic in being able to meet with us, take our phone calls, and connect with our vendors. On the day of our wedding, Ashley was AMAZING! She was everywhere! She had the entire reception looking beautiful, guests feeling comfortable, and the event running smoothly. Ashley made Sean and I feel special throughout the entire planning process; we truly developed a relationship with Ashley and we know we will be able to continue that relationship! She took care of any issues that arose at the reception with ease and, most importantly, without letting me or my groom know. I would recommend anyone to work with Lisa and Ashley. We started planning our wedding alone and then decided we didn't want to project manage our celebration. Wedding planners can be very expensive, but Lisa was different. She's extremely upfront about her services, what's included and what's not, and how much it will cost. After we got off our initial call with her, my now husband said, "I think she cares more about our wedding than we do."

We hired her early in our planning and it was a completely stress free process! We really didn't have to do anything except the fun parts. She managed the planning timeline, letting us know deadlines and when to do what; she set up all meetings; she kept in touch with all vendors and worked with them to make our day-of timeline work for everyone. She even managed to find fill-in hair/make-up and photographers when both of those vendors got sick the day of the wedding! True.

We loved our wedding day: all we had to do was show up and celebrate! If you want an extremely pleasant (ha!) planning process with a detailed oriented project manager who will help keep you within budget while maximizing for value, hire Lisa. She will be the best thing you can do for your wedding!

We found Lisa from another vendor whom we contacted but is already booked for our date. She basically lives out her name, pleasant! Very much since the first day we talked. She hardly take day-of coordination but in our case she took us in, for which we are very thankful. She's very detailed, she is very accommodating up until the wee hours in the morning and quick for suggestions. For brides, who would tend to worry up to the last details, she's your "it" girl! We are thankful for all that she did for our wedding, which we believe turned out to be what we prayed for and more. She even gave us a treat of orange basil mojito as a surprise during our ceremony. XOXO Lisa!!!

Lisa did a great job helping us plan our destination wedding in Destin, FL. We live in Cleveland, OH and found her online because she planned a wedding in Destin the year before.

We were also the first "children" of either family to get married-- so neither of our families/parents had been through the planning process before.

She connected us with trusted vendors and collaborated with others we brought on board. We had many calls and emails to make sure all the details were thought out, and that we stayed on budget.

I'm sure without her help we would have spent WAY more. You don't think of how quickly all the details add up! Especially as our families were going through this for the first time.

It was important to us to make the wedding personal and we skipped many of the "traditional" wedding details. She was always there to ask questions and make sure she understood what we wanted.

On the wedding day, she had everything planned out and met with all the vendors as they arrived at the house (we were married on the beach and had the dinner/reception at a big house next to the beach). I actually didn't see her that much or have to answer any questions on the wedding day, so I'd say that was a success! She took care of the details and knew what I wanted so I could enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

I'd recommend her to any bride who likes structure and wants a little more guidance on planning her wedding. There are so many moving pieces to coordinate and Lisa did so flawlessly!

Lisa took on my wedding just a few months before it happened. I spoke with Lisa and Ashley multiple times via phone, text, and e-mail. They were both very responsive and super helpful. They preformed day of services for me but being from out of town I had plenty of random questions for them. They were more than willing to offer advice and referrals to different vendors. My wedding turned out perfect! It was very casual and fun which is just what we wanted.

Lisa was extremely helpful in planning our relatively large wedding in a 6 month time frame. She also was helpful in keeping cost down, for example, providing some free decor, and using her various vendor relationships to get deals and even some things for free. The day of the wedding Lisa proved to be priceless making the day stress free with her organization, assertiveness, and diligence. Overall, I'd describe Lisa as professional, organized, and having the perfect last name of Pleasant!

One week has passed since our daughters wedding and it was perfect. My husband and I truly believe one of the main reasons was that we were so fortunate to have Lisa Pleasant as our wedding planner. All our details had her complete attention and she was always professional, prepared and patient and every moment a pleasure to work with during one of our most special times as a family.
