Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum is a wedding venue located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, that is open seasonally from March to December each year. The property is home to a living history museum that was once a 19th-century Pennsylvania German crossroads village. Surrounded by stately trees, gorgeous gardens, and working farms, the historic grounds are set on 100 acres, providing a tranquil, rustic setting for any celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum can accommodate up to 225 guests in its indoor and outdoor event spaces. Built in 1939, the venue’s Yellow Barn is 2,280 square feet and is made of original timber framing from 1814. Here, you and your loved ones can dine and dance in the spacious hall. Featuring exposed wood-beam ceilings, warm strings of lights, and brick floors, the barn offers a welcoming ambience for all events. Iron-wrought chandeliers, white-colored drapery, and windows above the rafters create a bright setting as you and your guests make long-lasting memories. The outdoor covered stone stable attached to the barn is an ideal site for catering services to set up for reception meals. The adjacent courtyard lawn in front of the barn can be used for open-air ceremonies. The historic buildings surrounding the square offer a charming atmosphere and are ideal for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. The Firehouse can also be used for indoor celebrations. A replica of an early rural firehouse, it features wooden floors and a separate space for caterers to prepare dishes. Here, 100 loved ones can join you and your partner for a shared meal and fun on the dance floor. Outside the event space is a tree-lined picnic grove that can be used for your festivities as well. Prior to the ceremony, you and your wedding party are invited to prepare in the on-site get-ready suite. Whether you’re hosting your engagement party, shower, rehearsal dinner, or ceremony and reception, this venue is happy to accommodate you.
To support you on your special day, Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum offers a wide range of event services. The staff can provide event planning to help you navigate your wedding journey. They will be there on the day to set up tables, chairs, and lighting according to your preferences. On-site parking is available for those traveling to the venue and the property is accessible by wheelchair.

An excellent place to hold your outdoor wedding or other event. Many brides hold the ceremony inside the yellow barn and hold their reception under a tent outside the barn.
