The staff at Hickory Bridge made my dream wedding come to life. They were responsive, professional, and worked with me to make my vision for my wedding happen. I felt well taken care of. We booked the bed and breakfast to have a fun wedding weekend. The property is beautiful and food is delicious. Guests would not stop talking about it! If you are getting married you will not regret choosing Hickory Bridge Farm for your venue!

We booked HBF for our wedding weekend and cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue, family, and staff! Before booking HBF, we had met the owners, who are all so lovely, helpful, and accommodating. Their in-house wedding coordinator, Angie is an organizational expert. After meeting with her, we knew we had found our venue! The property is stunning; we chose to get married in their outdoor space behind the bed and breakfast. We loved the aesthetics of the covered bridge, stream, and clearing amongst the trees with their color-changing leaves. The reception was held indoors in their red shed, which held a rustic chic theme- with all of the lights and decor, it created such a warm, inviting space. We booked the entire weekend, staying overnight in the bed and breakfast and cottages. The rooms were all lovely, comfortable, and the convenience of staying on the property made everything less stressful. The included breakfasts were scrumptious, as was our wedding dinner. Angie was incredible- she was on top of everything from the beginning of the planning process through the last dance at the reception; these newlyweds never had to worry about any detail- she was on it! She has an amazing eye for detail and works so efficiently. Angie helped us decorate the night before and then again the day of the wedding to ensure everything was exactly as we had discussed. It was as if she had read our minds and knew what we had pictured for our special day! We cannot forget to also note the incredible Bert, who graciously repaired our greeting mirror that broke during transport. He also assisted with setting up and was key in ensuring everything was in order for our perfect day. Our wedding was simply beautiful and honestly went without any hiccups as the family and staff were so attentive...we can't wait to return to celebrate each anniversary!

We explored many venues around the area and I can't imagine going with any other than Hickory Bridge, I am already recommending it to other engaged couples! We got married in a chapel but had our reception at Hickory Bridge in the restaurant and these are my takeaways-

PROFESSIONALISM

Angie, the wedding coordinator was absolutely AMAZING! She has YOUR back and will do anything in her power to make your vision come to life. Even though she is a woman of many talents, she always clears time in her schedule to make sure everything is right, and answer any and all questions. She lays out all of your options with NO hidden fees (this was important to me) and honors your choice, no questions asked.

BEAUTY

This venue is stunning. Between the restaurant itself and the Red Shed, they can do it all! Small rustic weddings, big elaborate weddings, there is something for anybody. There are so many beautiful locations outside the venue to get gorgeous wedding photos taken. They keep authentic farmhouse charm but can also give you an elegant feel if you so prefer.

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!

We were very pleased with the total cost seeing all that was included. Instead of one small plate per guest the nature of their restaurant is to really feed people as the guests see fit, and they do NOT compromise on quality. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, numerous sides, and they even included appetizers/charcuterie and an open bar option for guests while bridal party got photos done. Their alcohol selection (if you so prefer it) is large. The raspberry rum punch was a real crowd pleaser!

And considering that Angie is there to help make every detail perfect in your own way, I have already started recommending it to others I know are engaged. She has inclusive options for every budget!
I am so blown away by the way Angie presented my desserts and gift/favor tables. Several guests told me the food was the best of any wedding they had been to. We were even able to use the Bed and Breakfast to get hair and makeup done at no added cost which helped so much with space and time. And don't forget they have secluded cottages in the woods that you can rent for 2+ nights! I spent the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids to have some girl time, and the wedding night with my husband! Some if not all include a jacuzzi! I definitely recommend booking a cottage, they are adorable and right near the water. We had breakfast dropped off right at our door and it was cinnamon rolls, quiche, fresh fruit and yogurt, and orange juice. They include so many thoughtful touches in everything they do. It was very special being able to choose Hickory Bridge for my reception and if I could do it all again I would not change a single thing.

Hickory Bridge was everything we could have asked for and more! From the amazing wedding coordinator, lovely staff, and everything we needed on site like tables, chairs, linens, and tableware, our day was stress free! The one thing that really stood out to us about this venue was the food which is all home made and made on site!! If you’re thinking about looking for a venue, start at Hickory Bridge!!! You won’t be disappointed!

We were planning the wedding in PA from out of state and Angie made the entire process seamless. Angie was flexible in meeting with us, suggested excellent local vendors and helped us plan the wedding with great ideas and support for all aspects of planning to have the most wonderful day. Set up was easy, we provided centerpieces, the venue is beautiful.

The wedding day was wonderful! Angie managed everything and we were able to enjoy all the special moments. The food was delicious, we chose fried chicken and brisket.

The shed is an amazing place to have the wedding. The big barn doors were open during dancing and the way the wind blew the brides dress around during the first dance and father-daughter dance was magical.

There’s nothing I would have changed about the day.

Thank you to hickory bridge farm in accommodating our large rehearsal dinner (45 people) and continuing to be flexible throughout the evening. The staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious! The owner was easy to talk to and responded to emails almost immediately. I would recommend this location to anyone for rehearsal dinner!

Cathy & Mary and the wait staff were TERRIFIC!! They want above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for as far as decorations, menu, setup, food, service, communication, etc. We had a beautifully decorated Ceremony and Lunch at the Venue. We also booked a portion of the B&B that our guests loved!! HBF really did make our event amazing and a fantastic day to remember!! 5++++ stars!!!
