We got engaged on our vacation in San Diego, we needed a last minute photographer to help capture some memories before we left. Katherine was super accommodating and was able to squeeze us in. She helped us pick the perfect location, posed us and made us laugh for genuine photos! We had a great time and got the photos back in a timely manner even with Christmas and New Years. She was super responsive to texts and emails too!

Katherine was our wedding photographer and she was an absolute blast to work with! She makes the whole process so much fun and you can tell she truly loves what she does. She’s an expert at photographing in the right lighting/angles. I cannot recommend her enough!

We had the best time working with Katherine. The pictures were amazing quality and her creativity was so great. As an added bonus, she was amazing with our newborn baby in the shoot. Highly recommend!

Where to begin?! I first found Katherine when an old coworker of mine had hired her for family portraits, they were stunning!! Since my then fiancé, now husband and I were searching for all of our wedding vendors, I knew I needed to ask if she was available. Luckily, we were able to pin down the date and we hired her. Best decision EVER! We chose the package that included engagement photos and when the day came for our engagement shoot we were so excited!! We laughed the entire shoot and enjoyed every second. When the photos came back we were over the moon, I couldn't wait for her to shoot our Big Day. When the wedding day came, Katherine came in with such an incredible energy and helped usher my entire wedding party around for photos all day long into the night. It's true what they say, your wedding day goes by in a flash and I'm so grateful that we were lucky enough to have Katherine and her second photographer with us on our special day. One of the things I love most about Katherine is that she is very detail orientated and made sure she was up to date on everything leading up to our wedding. She sent us an in-depth questionnaire before the wedding to make sure there were no awkward encounters/questions/situations, and to make sure she and her other photographer were able to capture the moments that were important to us. If you love genuine, kindhearted, and energetic people, Katherine is your people. I promise you will not be disappointed!! She does family, engagement, wedding, homecomings and more!

Our day was planned on very short notice, but that didn't stop Katherine from exceeding our expectations in capturing our day perfectly! She has the sweetest soul and was a genuine pleasure to work with. She really made us feel at ease! Having never done a photoshoot, she helped us stay natural and truly enjoy the experience! Her ability to capture our best smiles was uncanny and has an OUTSTANDING eye for the perfect shot! Katherine's use of natural light was what drew us to her work. We were outside and it was a little windy, so I was nervous my hair was going to be too wild...but she gave us so many options to choose from you would have never known! From start to finish, Katherine was there to help us through our day. We are customers for life!! Thank you Katherine!

Where to begin!!! It is always such a pleasure working with Katherine! I LOVE having her as our family photographer. She's captured all of our family's special moments from mine and my sister's growing bellies, to our kids grown up and to my wedding!! Katherine is such a genuine and kind person and makes sure you are taken care of every step of the way!

Katherine is simply the best there is. Not only was she our photographer, she was our wedding planning partner, counselor, source of creative inspiration, and even served as our witness. Beyond even that though, she’s become a true friend! From our first point of contact together to the final delivery of our photos, Katherine’s process and style proved time and time again to be seamless, engaging, and warm-hearted. She drove at least 4-hours altogether to be with us the day before Halloween—at a venue she hadn’t even visited before—and proceeded to blow us away when she agreed to stay overnight to celebrate together even after the session had finished.

During our 5-hour session Katherine continuously put us at ease, beautifully guided us through a variety of shots, and listened intently to our interests throughout the day. The results were stunning! In all Katherine delivered hundreds of gorgeous images and kindly offered to coordinate prints and photo books afterwards too.

From prep to day-of and beyond, Katherine was communicative and guided us through every step with grace. Katherine is a consummate professional and does everything in her power to elevate your special day. We cannot recommend her highly enough. We’ll cherish our time together for a lifetime.

We hired Katherine to be our wedding photographer after meeting her at an open house event at The Thursday Club (pre-COVID). Right away we could tell how friendly, genuine and energetic she was. We met her for boba teas to see if we were a good fit. She asked us questions about how we met and you could tell she really cared to get to know us as a couple. We knew right away she was the perfect fit!
Our package included engagement photos as well that we were able to use for save the dates/wedding invites. They are AMAZING. After needing to postpone our wedding date due to COVID Katherine was flexible and responsive.
After months/years of planning our wedding, it is so important to find someone who will capture this one special day perfectly.
On our wedding day Katherine captured EVERYTHING. We did not hire a videographer so it was important to get someone we trusted with our photos we would have for a lifetime. She captured every moment perfectly. From getting ready before hand, to the first look, ceremony, reception. When looking at the photos we can truly relive those moments and have those special memories captured. She also does great with getting kids engaged, our flower girl is 5 years old and she did a great job getting her personality in the family photos. She has great advice for the adults too! :) Her photos look natural and beautiful. If you are looking for an engagement/wedding photographer look no further!!!
Katherine will now be our forever go to photographer when we need any professional photos for years to come.

We were beyond blessed to have Katherine recommended to us by a friend to photograph our engagement photos in Balboa Park as well as our destination wedding in Santa Barbara. From the very beginning, Katherine’s genuine personality made us feel so comfortable — she is absolutely phenomenal. She was so accommodating & flexible, she knew exactly what we needed without us even having to explain anything to her. She was able to calm my bundle of nerves which was truly a godsend the day of the wedding since I was a hot mess. I loved all the moments she captured when I was getting ready with my daughters, the placement of everything, the guests’ excitement, my husband’s joy — we were able to relive all those moments just by looking at the photos. We had the most wonderful experience with Katherine. I cannot express enough how pleased we were with her craft, vision, and work. Katherine is truly the best. Both my husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but she immediately made us feel at ease and lightened the mood with her incredibly infectious, bubbly attitude. She was a source of support during our postponed wedding and made our new mini-wedding day perfect. Her photos are incredibly beautiful - they captured every emotion of our big day, the beauty of small details and the love that we shared in ways we couldn't have imagined. Katherine is simply THE BEST!! We worked with Katherine twice and she’s consistent, responsive, reliable, friendly, and absolutely talented! The first time, I was originally finding a photographer for my 30th birthday and fell in love with Katherine’s style and aesthetics. Because of that attraction and Katherine’s amazing communication, I ended up choosing her and couldn’t be happier with my decision! It was especially special because my 30th birthday photoshoot ended up turning into a surprise engagement and Katherine, despite not being in the know, captured every single moment BEAUTIFULLY! Needless to say I knew I would be working with her again for my wedding! On my wedding day Katherine was so helpful to make sure my hair, hairpiece, and dress are all in good place for photos. She was personal, friendly, and patient, and the pictures ended up being so perfect! We love Katherine’s down-to-earth-ness and her positive attitude and would recommend her in a heart beat! Oh my gosh where to even start this review. My husband and I LOVED our photographer. Going into this process, we didn’t really have an idea of what specific shots we wanted. She helped us figure out locations, key moments we wanted, and other important details in a stress-free way. Not only does Katherine deliver the exact product she advertises, but she really cares about every single individual she works with. When the coordinator who came with our venue didn’t do as much prep work prior to our event as we had expected, Katherine stepped in. She stayed up late with us on FaceTime one night calming our nerves and creating our WHOLE DAY timeline (not just photography). She then texted us to check in and see if our vendors were communicating with us sufficiently, and reassured us that we actually would get all the details worked out before our big day. She also helped us find a videographer for the ceremony a week prior to the wedding day when we found out some family members could not attend. Katherine, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so special, and for the AMAZING photos! We can’t wait to work with you again!!!

Katherine took photos of our pre-wedding ceremony, called a Madhuram Veppu, and she was amazing!!! We found out two weeks before the event that we'd have to change the location of our venue, and Katherine was unbelievably flexible and accommodating to these changes! Overall, Katherine's most strong attributes for us were her swift communication, overall enthusiasm, and commitment to making our event special. At the event: Katherine made all of our guests feel so comfortable. For the little kids, Katherine was jumping up and down, making funny animal noises, and really went above and beyond to get them to pay attention AND smile (which is an absolute feat). For us, we really loved how she captured us in our natural element enjoying the event rather than staging us for photos too often. Photos: The photos came out so well!!!! Katherine captured the joy of the event, and honestly captured the personalities of so many of us and our guests within the photos. We were hard-pressed to choose only 40, so we actually bought the whole gallery! The pics were just too good to pass up on
