Surprise Proposal Experience

I am so glad I chose J. Sasu Photography for my surprise proposal photos! He was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, from helping me finalize the location (and suggesting backup spots) to making sure we were in the right place at the right time on the day itself. He also made the post-proposal photo session feel fun and special.

The photos turned out absolutely perfect, and we received them just a few days after the session. Overall, we could not have been happier with the experience. If you are looking for a photographer, I cannot recommend J. Sasu Photography highly enough!

5 stars all around

To this day I have never felt more comfortable in front of a camera in such a short time. We did a session for our engagement photos at Rawlings Conservatory and he made both my husband and I feel like such naturals. The pictures also were absolutely beautiful and came back SO quickly. I would give more than 5 stars if I could

Best wedding photographer

J was amazing to work with! His assistant photographer Victoria was also fabulous! We are so so happy with how our photos turned out! J was very clear in giving instructions, picking out spots to take photos, choosing creative angles. The photo composition is complex with great foreground and background. Our wedding venue had indoor and outdoor sections and he and Victoria were able to get great shots in both areas.

The questionnaire J sent us before the wedding was helpful in figuring out what we want. He also worked great with our wedding coordinators. Our conversations before hand were very useful as well. Overall a great experience to work with him! Definitely recommend!

Talented, thoughtful, and flexible photographer

J is absolutely wonderful and thoughtful. We enjoyed doing our engagement photos with him, as it allowed us to get to know him and feel comfortable with him. He then photographed us and our parents and us at our civil ceremony and our wedding reception the following day. His style is easy as he blends into the background and allows you to truly enjoy your day. He was an excellent collaborator with our videographer and DJ and made our day seamless. His photographs are beautiful and truly capture us for who we are. Definitely recommend him!

We Love J Sasu!

J took pictures for our wedding and the pictures are perfect. J captured the energy of the weekend, the joy, and excitement. We are so happy with all of the pictures - the portraits, the family pictures, and the candids. He was very easy to work with, very communicative, and very supportive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Surprise Proposal Photographer!

J made the surprise proposal process so easy! He provided me great tips for the day of, was detailed in the planning process to make sure we ended up in a pretty spot, and was also crucial on the day of in helping make sure things went smoothly. The package he offers is at an incredibly good value and the results are such high quality. I would highly recommend J to anyone looking for a proposal photographer, look forward to potentially using him for our wedding as well!

Couldn't have been better!

Working with J. was better than we could have expected. Throughout the whole experience, J. made sure to ask questions so that he knew exactly what we were looking for, and to make sure we had a plan so that portraits with the family would run efficiently. On the day of, he was on time, professional, and a great friendly presence that added to the relaxed feelings of our smaller wedding. He was willing to stay on an extra hour on short notice to keep taking pictures of people playing board games and singing karaoke during the reception, and got our photos back to us even sooner than we had expected. We felt like his photography style brought out the color in our very colorful outfits, and are so happy that he caught all the vibrant details of our special day! Without hesitation, we would recommend J. to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer!

Immaculate Vibes and Talent!

Joseph was incredible! Amazing communication leading up to my surprise proposal, unreal ability to capture the key moments, and great energy that made us feel so taken care of and celebrated! Very LGBTQI+ friendly and truly talented photog. Even took some complimentary pics of us with our families and provided a video of the moment I proposed!
