It was exactly what we needed. She brought such a calm, steady presence to the entire process and ensured every detail was thoughtfully handled. Throughout the entire process, we knew our planning and design were going to be thoughtfully considered.
We went with a package that included design, lighter-touch planning in the early stages, and then full hands-on service during the month prior to our big day. When it came time to pick a planner, we instantly knew Sydney was who we wanted to work with. On this introductory call, she took the time to ask us questions about how we met, what was important to us, what we were thinking so far, and exuded a calm yet friendly energy that seemed essential for expertly executing the big day. She struck us as extremely organized and detail-oriented, and we appreciated her project management methods. It was going to be a great fit.

Through the process, Sydney was a steady presence - checking in periodically, making suggestions when asked, and seamlessly taking over communications with our vendors a few weeks out. We also utilized her keen design eye through her Design Lite package, which was a great decision; she really helped set the tone of our day with beautiful, creative, and cost-conscious ideas that made our wedding feel distinctly “us” without breaking the bank. When it came to the wedding day, we ran shockingly close to schedule thanks to her expertly mapped-out plan of the day, and she circulated in and out of our orbit with a steady presence and a smile. None of that frantic energy that we’ve seen from planners as guests at other weddings!

Long story short, Sydney knocked it out of the park with her attention and care! We are so grateful we worked with her to craft our perfect day and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I can't say enough about Sydney. She is a rockstar! She is super laid back yet on the ball every step of the way. She was perfect for me because I tend to stress over details. Sydney is calm and makes everything seem easy but she is working her tail off behind the scenes.

Choosing Sydney and In Ink Weddings as our month-of/60-day coordinator was hands down THE best investment we made throughout our entire wedding planning process, especially when it came to the day of set up! From our first consultation call, to her sweet follow up morning-after wedding text - she was the most organized, positive, kind, and resourceful planning partner I could have ever imagined. Not only was she there to always answer questions along the way, she was able to take all of the heavy-lifting work out of my hands 60 days out, and kept me honest when some details needed attention. I felt an enormous weight lift from my shoulders when Sydney started working with me during my wedding planning journey, and I truly don't think we would have had the day of our dreams without her. What was most impressive was how perfectly she and her assistant organized and displayed all of our decor and DIY touches for our ceremony and reception - I felt like I was stepping into a literal dream. Sydney doesn't just feel like a "planner" or a "vendor" - she feels like a friend. I can't get over how lucky we were to have her help make our wedding day so unforgettable (so much so that one of our guests hired her to do the same thing after attending our wedding and seeing her in action)! Sydney and I have been friends for a long time and she's always been helpful with planning things so I wasn't surprised when she agreed to help me plan a surprise engagement party for my now fiance. What I was surprised with was just how much effort she put in and just how personally invested she would be in making sure everything went just right. She was wonderful and to say that I couldn't have pulled it off without her is an understatement. She even adapted to my last minute change to have to propose at the party venue and reorganized everything to make a wonderful backdrop for the pictures, only to the rearrange again after I had proposed. She was wonderful and I highly recommend working with her for any of your needs!

When my husband and I first married 10 years ago we had a small courthouse wedding that I wore a white dress from Forever 21. Our plan was to have wedding/ceremony in a year, but life happened and it kept being pushed back. BUT Sydney with In Ink wedding made it happen! Sydney's ideas and her communication are amazing.
