Phenomenal DJ!

Steve did an amazing job for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. They gave him an extensive, wide-ranging request and do-not-play list, and he somehow managed to get it all done and provide the most excellent selection of dance music for all the generations we had at the wedding. He was the consummate professional in every way: he helped keep everything moving on time, and provided seamless transitions within the order of reception events. We couldn't have been more thrilled with ImTheDJ from sign on to last dance. :)

Partied All Night

Nate did a fantastic job at our wedding. From start to finish he set the mood, tone, and vibe. He kept the energy flowing throughout the whole night. He was super communicative and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. I highly recommend him for anyone in need of a DJ for their northern Viriginia wedding. We also got a great deal on their giffy booth that everyone used all night and multiple times, it was a huge hit. Every single person shared with us he's the best DJ they've encountered and that the dance floor was the most fun they've partied on. If you want a good time hire Nate!

The best wedding DJ in Virginia!

Nate absolutely crushed it as the DJ for our wedding in Northern Virginia! He was extremely communicative throughout the planning process, worked with us on a payment plan that fit with our budget, and most importantly, hosted a killer party and dance floor that multiple attendees said was the best wedding party they had ever been to. He listened to our music requests (and avoided the "don't plays") and did an excellent job adapting to what was working with our group. If you have a wedding coming up, you'd better make sure to book your DJ with I'm The DJ while they're still available!

Nate Clancy is a DREAM

Nate is an absolute class act. I cannot adequately express how amazing of a DJ he is. I am still hearing from our wedding guests that he was fantastic, and one has already asked for his information to share with a friend planning her own wedding (which I happily provided!)

You cannot go wrong booking Nate for your wedding. First, I was very particular with the ceremony music (with specific albums, tracks, and timestamps), which he executed flawlessly. Next, he announced ours and our wedding party's entrances perfectly. And finally, the reception music was nothing but banger after banger - by the end of the night, I was EXHAUSTED (in a good way!) But the most important piece of the night was when, during out private dance, he interjected a soundbyte of Philomena Cunk - this was a joke request we had put on our form and it made us laugh so hard.

Nate is a true professional and I cannot thank him enough!!

Wonderful choice!

We made a great decision booking ImtheDJ for our wedding last month (September 2025). They came highly recommended by our venue and they did not disappoint! Craig was amazing to work with and put our minds at ease before the big day - he responded very quickly to any questions or requests we had. The songs he played were just our style and his timing for intros and dances was spot on. We also booked a photo booth with them and that was a crowd pleaser! We will continue to recommend ImtheDJ to all of our friends!

Fantastic DJ!

Book them!!!

It was such a pleasure to work with ImtheDJ. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, Steve was so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating — even when we had a last-minute request, he handled it without hesitation. He kept the energy up and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. We’ve had multiple guests reach out to tell us he was the best DJ they’ve ever seen at a wedding, and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for someone who knows how to keep the party going and make your night unforgettable, he’s the one!

Imthedj is the best

Nate was hands down the best! Never got to meet the guy before our wedding day but he knew just what we wanted! He was laid back, easy to work with, and EXACTLY what we wanted! Thanks to him, the dance floor stayed packed all night! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

Awesome DJ experience

My husband and I spoke with Nate and he set us up to work with Steve for our wedding and they are both absolutely amazing! Steve is very organized, responsive, and most importantly, a great DJ! He worked with us to help us cut our first dance song, wedding party entrances, and so much more. We talked with him several times over the phone and each time, he listened and assured us he could help us on the wedding day. Everyone was dancing and we got so many compliments on the music. Highly recommend working with Steve!

Best dj ever

Nate deserves more than 5 stars! He was hands down the best DJ anyone could as for on their wedding day. The planning process was seamless with Nate and he understood our vibe from the beginning. On the day of, he was so kind and made the night truly about us. His set up is sleek, with fantastic uplighting and a screen that plays music videos! We shared a handful of our favorite songs for both the cocktail hour and reception and he curated the perfect play list. Moreover, he was a fantastic MC, making important announcements without overpowering the night. Transitions between songs were wonderful and he had everyone dancing the entire night! We have never had no much fun at a wedding. Everyone has come up to us after our wedding asking about our DJ and recalling him as one of the best DJs they have ever seen.
