We used every service I Do OBX provides for our destination wedding in Corolla. This included officiating, coordination, DJ, florals, lighting, equipment/decor rental (both ceremony & reception), and videography. When beginning to pick vendors, it seemed like a daunting task as we were unfamiliar with the vendors in the area. After meeting the owners Tony & Mary at the OBX Wedding Expo & seeing their work, it made the decision easy. It was so clear how kind & passionate they were about what they do, as well as how much experience they had. They were both so helpful during the entire planning process, and were able to offer so many recommendations & advice. They had done many weddings at our venue alone and knew exactly what would work best.

We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful and personal our ceremony was. Tony went above and beyond to get to know my husband and me before the wedding. It was very clear Tony had been officiating for a long time, as he thought of everything. He stepped out of the way for photos for not only our first kiss, but also sand ceremony & vows. He had my husband and I switch sides according to the way the wind was blowing so my veil & hair weren't in my face. He added his own personal touches to the 'standard" ceremony'. I had never seen an officiant be as detail-oriented as Tony.

Shirley was our month-of coordinator and she was the BEST. Her and Mary answered my countless questions and had many meetings with me to discuss every last detail leading up to the wedding. She handled EVERYTHING, from reaching out to vendors prior to that day to finalize the timeline, setting up the space with the team SO perfectly, instructing our 21-person bridal party with EASE, and so so much more. She truly made our day stress-free and so smooth. She's a PRO.

Alec was our DJ and everyone LOVED him! Alec knew we wanted our wedding to be a big dance party and he did not disappoint. We had 70 people at our wedding and when I tell you everyone was on the dance floor all night, I mean it! Alec was so fun & involved--he even jumped in the pool with us at the end of the night :) Music is arguably one of the most important parts of a wedding and we would hire Alec over and over again.

Videography was something we had been on the fence about in the early stages of planning our wedding, but after just seeing our teaser alone--WOW we could not be happier. This crew is TALENTED and made it so worth it! They were so enjoyable to work with and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day. They took my inspo & vision and made it even better than I could have asked for. From the drone shots to the music choice, they nailed it all. We are so thankful that they have allowed us to re-live our day over and over again so perfectly.

Our venue was an event home in Corolla and the I Do OBX team florals, lighting, and equipment/decor rentals completely transformed this space into an absolutely dream. The florals were exactly what I wanted. They listened to what I asked for and ran with it--they truly have the magic touch. The lighting was so beautifully designed and made the space feel so cozy & well-lit. It was a must-have. This team is extremely familiar with these venues and they know just how to elevate these spaces in the most incredible and creative ways.
I could go on and on about how much I love this team but I will end with saying that you will not regret booking I Do OBX for your wedding. Each individual service will blow you away but seeing them ALL work together was just absolutely magical. Thank you all for making our dream wedding a reality!

I planned my wedding to take place in the OBX (my husband and I are from New England), and this company has it down to a science. Neither my guests nor I had to lift a finger during the day of the wedding (I did not have a wedding planner), and I Do OBX was fabulous to work with. They made sure everything was setup on the beach for the Ceremony and took everything down afterwards. Everything was seamless, and I would definitely recommend their services for a Ceremony.

We can’t say enough good things about I Do OBX! We went with their turn key package, which included the venue, photographer, DJ, florist, and rentals — and every single part of it was amazing. They made the entire wedding weekend so easy and stress-free, which was such a gift.

Mary was fantastic to work with and gave us great recommendations for our caterer and cake. We ended up going with Johanna’s for catering, and the food was incredible. Tony Joseph officiated our ceremony, and he was so thoughtful and made us feel completely comfortable through the whole process.

The house we stayed in, Diamond on the Sound, was beautiful — clean, welcoming, and perfect for hosting everyone.

This was the most relaxed and easy process I could have asked for and everything was so perfect for my elopement. Tony did AMAZING with the ceremony, Val did great with picture and the guys set the Arch and chairs up right on time!

We love Tony, it felt like we knew him for years. He does a very beautiful ceremony. He made our special day even more special and beautiful. He has packages for everyone. Pick and choose what packages you want for the wedding. We had a small wedding and it was very beautiful.

I Do OBX and Tony Joseph were incredible! From the first call to the big day, they made everything seamless—even with the weather challenges. Alec was the best DJ. He worked with me and my husband to create an amazing playlist. He had everyone dancing all night long! I would highly recommend Alec and IdoOBX for all your wedding needs.

Tony, Mary, and Carrie were all fabulous to work with on our elopement. From the first meeting with Tony and Mary getting to know us, down to the vows, ceremony, and amazing flowers everything felt very personal and every detail mattered to them as much as to us.
The weather didn't cooperate so we had to adjust to an indoor ceremony. Tony and Carrie were in touch throughout the day to see if we could find a window of time and they came earlier than planned to miss the rain.
They have mastered the wedding business and think of everything, making planning for us simple. It was a pleasure working with them and we recommend them 100%.

The lighting & furniture were set up perfectly - the twinkle lights were stunning! They truly set the stage for a beautiful and hassle free day. Most importantly, Tony officiated our wedding with so many thoughtful, personal touches and beautiful words.
