Hyatt Regency Boston was the perfect venue for our New Year's Eve wedding. We wanted convenience and a large hotel where our guests could take the elevators upstairs after celebrating. Ashlynn and Carlos were kind and responsive leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding, Ashlynn handled issues without getting me involved and was easy to work with. The food was delicious and the waitstaff and bartenders were amazing. The Executive Chef hand delivered our meals to us, which was such a nice touch after having met him at the food tasting. The location to downtown Boston cannot be beat, and we got some incredible city photos. We can't believe more people don't get married here, but feel grateful that we did.

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write a review based on my appointment and follow-up communication with Jennifer Nicholson and Alexa Provenzano. (I ended up deciding to have my wedding near home in California.) What an amazing experience! I went to look at the Hyatt with my fiance and my parents. We were all so impressed! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Jennifer and Alexa are both very kind, welcoming, thoughtful, professional, and helpful. After reviewing several wedding packages, the Hyatt's offered the most value and many high-end details. The hotel had been remodeled recently so everything is new and posh. The guest rooms are amazing as well (how nice of them to show us those also?!). The ballroom is gorgeous as well as the outdoor patio area where we were considering having our ceremony. We were able to meet the award-winning Chef Kelly, who came to say hello and personally discuss our wedding menu with us. Such amazing customer service. After tasting some of the delicious food at the hotel's restaurant, there was no contest. This was our favorite venue in Boston.
As I mentioned, we ultimately chose to have the wedding in California; but, our experience made it a difficult choice! If we chose Boston, this definitely would have been the place. I highly recommend visiting with these lovely ladies and see the space if you are looking for a wedding venue.

I just recently had my wedding at the Hyatt Regency Boston this past September, and I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue! Planning a wedding is stressful, but when you're working with dependable people, it makes the planning so much easier!

We worked with Alexa Provenzano, who is the amazing event coordinator at the hotel. We met her about halfway through our planning process and we were so happy that she helped to make our day so perfect! She and Chef Kelly were so attentive to everything we suggested and every question we had was answered quickly and efficiently. The day of the wedding was like a dream. Alexa had everything taken care of and our guests were raving about how unbelievable the food and venue was!

This hotel includes so much in their wedding package and the venue even has an outdoor patio that our guests could use, which is something that is not too common in Boston. The Adrienne Salon where we had our cocktail hour, and the main Ballroom looked amazing! It was better than anything I could have pictured!

Overall, our experience with the Hyatt Regency Boston exceeded our expectations! If you are newly engaged and want a Boston wedding, you should definitely take a look at this hotel! Not only will you have an amazing venue, but you will also have supportive and hard working people to help make your day stress free and perfect!

Our event coordinator was the best we could ever have asked for - Christine. She went above and beyond to help with anything/everything. She listened and she "got it".

We recently had our New Years Eve wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Boston and weeks later, we are still beaming from what was the most perfect event! We cannot thank Melissa Charette (our amazing Hyatt wedding coordinator) enough for bringing our vision to life. We chose New Years Eve because we wanted our wedding to be a big celebration for our friends and family - party first, wedding second :) Melissa completely embraced our theme and helped us design an event that completely expressed who we were as a couple. Some of our favorite details included:

- Passed champagne during the ceremony
- Crab rangoons during cocktail hour (a special request)
- Station style menu with sliders & french fries!
- Confetti at midnight - we had 8 awesome staff members help!!!
- NYE decorations at the tables - a last minute idea by Melissa which was awesome!!

The entire staff at the Hyatt was just wonderful - in addition to Melissa, Dimitri Solopoulos (director of catering) and Kevin (director of security) were incredible.

The venue itself is just beautiful, from the Cape Cod room for the ceremony (beautiful chandeliers!) to the Adrienne Salon for cocktail hour (even the hallway is gorgeous!) to the exquisite ballroom. We looked at a LOT of venues when planning our wedding and the Hyatt Regency is definitely a hidden gem in the city. With a spectacular facility and a world-class staff, you can't go wrong!! And when you do stop there, make sure to ask for Melissa when planning - she is truly the very best and will be there for you from beginning to end!

I may be overzealous right now since I just said "I do" on Saturday, 11/22. But, I couldn't wait to express my joy and pleasure for the entire staff at they Hyatt Regency. My now husband walked into the Hyatt September of 2013 for a tour. I knew after some prelim phone convos and email exchanges with Christine Weiland (now located at a New York Property) this was going to be the place. I instantly connected with her and knew I would adore working with her. She worked with us to make sure we would get what we wanted. Shortly before our tasting Christine landed an awesome opportunity in New York, although I was devastated to see her go, I was confident that she wouldn't leave me in the wrong hands. At Christine's departure we were left in the hands of Dimitri Solopoulos, he made the transition very easy and was very helpful in calming any jitters I had with Christine leaving. During our tasting I was introduced to the fantastic Melissa Charette. I could go on for days raving about how amazing and attentive Melissa was. I'm sure it was not easy jumping in midway, but we connected instantly and handled my weekly (sometimes daily) emails with effortless ease. She, along with everyone at the Hyatt regency was great. The front desk staff was so helpful, A.J, Tim and the lovely ladies at the front desk handled the check-ins and odd requests without missing a beat.

Our guests could not stop raving about the food. The food at the Hyatt is not your typical mass produced banquet meal, you can tell the Chef and his team take a lot of pride in what they do. I wish I could do that day all over again! The folks at the Hyatt made our day so memorable.

If you're recently engaged and live in the Boston area, please go tour the facilities at the Hyatt and specifically ask for Melissa. She is the best!

I had my wedding at the Hyatt- and everything was perfect! The wedding coordinator, Christine, is phenomenal. She was very attentive and took notes on all the small details, and made my day perfect. The level of service I received from her, Chef Kelly, and on the night of wedding Meghan and Brandi was incredible. The atmosphere and set up of the venue was awesome too- This venue was recently renovated, and the ballroom is so beautiful. There is also an outdoor terrace attached that was a huge hit for cocktail hour- There was plenty of room for the 200 people who attended the wedding. Willie also took great care of our belongings from check in until check out- amazing service!
The food deserves its own paragraph all together. I cannot tell you how many people came up to me and calls I received the next day about how great the Filet and Chicken dishes were- it was like going out to eat at a steakhouse. The appetizers were delicious as well, and the presentation at cocktail hour was amazing. Chef Kelly even served us at the wedding, it was so nice!

My husband and I were extremely happy with our wedding. The Hyatt is truly a hidden gem in the city.
I wanted to find a venue that was not your typical wedding function hall. The Jefferson Ballroom is beautiful! The cocktail hour was held in the Adrienne Salon (an Oval-shaped room) and out on the deck. The oval room is so different and there aren't many hotels in Boston where you can have cocktail hour outside. Our wedding coordinator, Christine, was wonderful to work with. She was more on top of certain details than I was. The Executive Chef was fantastic and he was able to accommodate all the demands we had for our menu. The food was outstanding, we received so many compliments. I highly recommend this hotel! When you do the comparisons, the prices are very good. They include the cake and rented items.

We held our August 29, 2009 wedding (both ceremony and reception) at the Hyatt. We selected them for the value they offered and the beauty of the ballroom, we had no idea what wonderful service we would also receive! It started from the time we signed the contract through to some follow-up items after the wedding. Jennifer Nicholson was absolutely wonderful to work with, I had no concerns about leaving things in Jennifer's hands, everything was taken care of exactly as Jennifer and I discussed. The venue itself is beautiful and the food, the food was delicious. I often wonder how the food will taste when prepared for a large volume of people and it was just as good as it was at our tasting! We had several guests and our vendors comment to us how nicely they were treated by the staff at the hotel. I would absolutely host another even there.

We couldn’t have been happier with the Hyatt. We had our ceremony on the patio off the ballroom and our reception in the ballroom. Starting with the bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries the gave us after we signed the contract up until the bottles of wine they sent to my mom’s and in-laws rooms the night of the wedding, the Hyatt really made us feel like our wedding day was special to them. The planning process couldn’t have been easier; the service, food and details were phenomenal; and I couldn’t have done any of it without Jennifer, our coordinator. I would HIGHLY suggest booking the Hyatt. It may seem a little pricey, but keep in mind that it included our cake and honeymoon suite, as well as all the regular stuff.
