Elegant and Classy

Giselle and staff were very attentive to every detail. The chef did an amazing job with the food. It was truly fine dining worthy. The team worked tirelessly to give us our dream wedding. The venue is also spectacular, with a large dancing ballroom and great views of the Charles River. I would host a party there again in a heartbeat.

Great venue and amazing event coordinator!

From the very start, Giselle was extremely responsive as we went through our options and created a custom package that would suit us. From there, she remained highly available, and continued giving us plenty of ideas and suggestions on how to best use the space. On the day of, Giselle was right there with us helping coordinate with the vendors and even assisting where needed. Giselle and the DoubleTree were amazing– couldn't recommend them enough!

NYE Wedding!

Giselle and her team were amazing to work with! From the planning process to the execution I couldn’t be happier. She especially made me feel at ease the day of the wedding keeping me out of the loop for almost the whole day! I was able to focus on getting ready and spending time with my family. The wedding went off without a hitch! My friends and family loved the food and ambiance and had a great time celebrating with us. I thought it was the perfect venue for what we were looking for!

All around a good experience.

Everything for my wedding was great I loved every moment the coordinator was amazing. It was just a wonderful and amazing day I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding or any kind of function. The only one thing that I didn't like is that when we at first initially went there we were told that for our one year wedding anniversary we could have one night there. And then after my one year wedding anniversary I did speak to the coordinator and she said the package that I chose that wasn't included. Wish to me was a surprise. but all around just a wonderful and great experience.

I had an amazing experience

We decided to have our wedding ceremony in a short period of time, and the team is able to take our request and have everything ironed out in a short period of time. The wedding venue is amazing and my guests had a blast!

Great venue and amazing staff

Planning a wedding internationally is not easy but working with Taryn made it easy. She was very accomidating and responded very quickly. There were a couple hickups here and there but she was quick to fix it. The only negative thing I can think of were the dishes for people with dietary restrictions. We had buffet and their meals came much later after the food was served. Other than that I really enjoyed everything!

Absolute perfection!

I had my bridal shower here in September and it was absolute perfection. We had a rooftop brunch. It was like something out of a magazine. Top notch service and wonderful food and drink. Taryn was an absolute joy to work with. She’s the best. I hope to have more events here!

Everything was great!

Highly recommend for anyone considering a wedding here. Taryn and the staff are outstanding and the hotel facilities and food were terrific. The rooftop space with a bar and views of Boston will make for some amazing pictures as well. Five stars!

My best hotel event experience ever!

We had such a fantastic time planning and executing an event at the DoubleTree. I'll divide this into 2 parts:

On Planning: Taryn Oliveira was the Sales Manager that we worked with. She listened attentively to us when we started the planning process. She found a beautiful space for us to use and even connected us with other vendors that we could use like a great local DJ! She was always available over the phone and email, as well as in-person. She ensured that all of the tiniest details were taken care off and we had no worries whatsoever.

On execution: The venue (Roosevelt room and Ballroom) were super beautiful when we arrived. The staff were extremely professional and the environment was very clean. They bent over backwards in providing us with extra serving dishes when we needed them and Taryn even stayed till midnight to ensue that everything went well! Our guests said it was the most intimate and well planned event they had attended in Boston and I am super grateful to the team for helping to make it a success!

We had a wonderful wedding at the DoubleTree Suites Boston-Cambridge. Paul worked with us through the entire process, we came up with customized wedding package to fit our budget and do everything in a compressed 6 month time frame. We had our ceremony and reception at the hotel, and we had our wedding party on the hotel's roof deck for photos and cocktails overlooking the Charles River and Boston city skyline. Our dance floor was setup in the Sculler's Jazz Club with the dining tables for reception entirely in the adjoining ballroom, this created a nice separation for the event and allowed everyone to come into the club once the dancing started and sit at the many tables setup in the club around the dance floor. We also had a very nice 2 floor wedding suite on the top floor of the hotel for 2 nights and 2 additional rooms for the wedding night for family as part of the package. Paul and his team took care of us from start the end and everyone had a great time.
