My daughter and her fiancé were planning a destination wedding and were not familiar with the caterers in the Outer Banks area. After reading numerous reviews, we selected High Cotton BBQ. They were an excellent choice and did not disappoint. From the start, the staff was responsive to everything we requested for our daughter’s wedding reception. Bob did a superb job of delivering and setting up the food. He demonstrated quality service and was extremely friendly and polite. The presentation of food was appealing to our guests. There are not enough words to describe the food. It was absolutely phenomenal. We received comments all evening from the guests. They could not stop raving about the awesome food. They especially enjoyed the BBQ sauce! There was no one favorite menu item because they enjoyed all of it. Thanks again to the entire staff for everything you did to make the reception a wonderful success. I've been eating at High Cotton BBQ for a few years so when my then bride to be suggested that we use their catering for the reception I was all in.
We went with the delivery and set up since we had a reasonably small event.
Since we were tied up with the ceremony when the food was delivered we had someone there to let the delivery person know where to set up. She told us what a joy it was to work with him and how smoothly it all went.
Everyone that attended later commented on wonderful everything was. We even had some non meat eaters in the group that raved about all the sides we choose to have.
If you are looking to have remarkable food at your wedding reception I would whole heartedly recommend you consider High Cotton.
I know you will not be disappointed in the least.

Best food we ate all week! High cotton has a package that can serve any guest count. With High Cotton you get quantity and quality! We didn't have catering, however the staff was more than generous to accommodate us with tin pans, utensils, paper goods, tons of sauce, and more! They helped my mom load up in her car so she could bring the food to our reception on the Crystal Dawn Headboat in Manteo. The food was still hot! PERFECT for the occasion and a must have everytime we're in the area. Thank you High Cotton for your excellent service!

I would highly recommend High Cotton to anyone looking to cater any type of event or to just eat a meal at their restaurant. We planned an OBX wedding from out of town and Sherry was so helpful in the process with making sure the menu was exactly what we needed. We stopped by for lunch on vacation a month before the wedding which did nothing but guarantee we made the right choice. Food was great, everyone we interacted with had great customer service and Sherry even made sure she was there to meet us that day to make sure we had everything straight for the wedding. Highly recommend to anyone!! We love High Cotton and it will become a new staple for lunch/dinner on our vacations in the future.
