Delivery & Setup
Custom menu building
Set up and break down of buffet
Removal of all dinner ware (washing and re-racking for rental company)
Set up of water glasses, plates and silverware placement on tables
Cake cutting and passing
Champagne pouring and serving
Trash removal at the end of the night
Guest Maintenance (assisting all guests with any needs that arise, refreshing drinks, clearing plates, glasses, flatware, etc.)

The food from Black Pelican was absolutely amazing! Our guests still rave about how good our wedding food was weeks after the wedding. We had salmon w/ honey chipotle bbq glaze, chicken w/ tarragon riesling sauce, mashed potatoes, rustic veggie blend, and a garden salad. Appetizers were mozzarella risotto balls w/ marinara sauce, crab-less cakes, fresh fruit kabobs, and tomato bruschetta. The ladies who worked the buffet at the wedding were very kind and even offered to make my plate!
The best part about Black Pelican is they even cater to different dietary needs/restrictions. Being a vegan, sometimes it can be difficult to find a good, well-balanced meal and especially difficult when trying to plan a wedding meal that everyone can enjoy! Black Pelican made this process so easy. I told them I was vegan and they sent me their vegan catering menu. I was shocked that they had this! I had crab-less cakes as my main entree (they were so delicious and even my guests enjoyed them!) They were able to make the mashed potatoes vegan as well. So, I was able to have a delicious vegan meal while my guests wee able to enjoy their meal with salmon and/or chicken. Thank you, Black Pelican for considering people’s dietary needs! This was one of the main reasons why we booked with them. I cannot recommend Black Pelican enough! -

The food that Black Pelican provided for our Daughter's wedding was excellent. Everything tasted great and looked spectacular. And they proved their flexibility since we had to change venue due to the weather at the last minute and there were raging thunderstorms during the event. The team provided great service to us under some really adverse weather conditions. I would use them again in a heartbeat.-

Black Pelican's food is some of the best on the beach and always a topic of conversation at the wedding receptions they cater! Their staff is professional, organized, and experienced in the wedding industry on the Outer Banks.
