"It's one of the best weddings we've ever been to!" is all we hear from guests after the incredible evening we all had at Lesner Inn. From the day we first viewed the venue to the moment we left with a sparkler exit at the end of our wedding, everything about working with Alexis and the team at Lesner Inn proved over and over what an incredible venue this is for a wedding - any time of year! Our November wedding was stunning. No stone was left unturned in planning, the communication was always clear and quick throughout the process, the food was incredible (everyone spent Christmas talking about it!) and the staff was fantastic the entire night. It was truly the night of our dreams, and we feel so fortunate to have worked with everyone at Lesner Inn. We will remember this incredible night for the rest of our lives. Professional, experienced, thorough, and truly impressive to everyone in attendance. Lesner Inn helped make an incredible evening for everyone. Even the kids (we had 10 kids ages 1 through 11 in attendance!) can't stop talking about eating the best chicken tenders they have ever had in their lives (plated beautifully for even our tiniest guests!) It's not just the view - Lesner Inn has it all. I cannot recommend this venue enough to celebrate such a special event in our lives. Thank you to the entire team for helping us, our families, and friends enjoy an unforgettable evening.

The Woman's Club of Portsmouth was absolutely the perfect venue for our December wedding! The possibilities are endless in such a gorgeous space; I originally wanted to add tons of drapery and approximately 2 million more flowers before I was reminded by my now-husband that we did indeed have a budget... but ultimately, we didn't even NEED any of that extra stuff. The new floors and glittering chandeliers are so lovely that even very understated decor looks glamorous! We loved the ease and convenience of having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in one space, and our guests were very pleased with that aspect as well. In addition to the space itself, working with Chrissy was such a joy!! She was so fun and easy to communicate with, and went FAR above and beyond for us MULTIPLE times in the year/month/week leading up to our wedding day. We are so appreciative and cannot reccomend this venue and its staff highly enough! The one cautionary note I would leave for prospective clients is to remind your guests (multiple times) to try to arrive earlier than they think they need to if they are planning on utilizing the complimentary valet parking!! As the venue does not have guest parking directly on site, it can take some time to get everybody in the building, and I wish I had sent another 3-4 reminders to my guests. But that being said, it worked out just fine and I wouldn't even call that a downside or negative at all, considering we understood this from the start, and all of the other amazing attributes of this venue and kindness of the staff!! Our wedding day was literally perfect, and we can't imagine having had it anywhere else. Thank you so much to Chrissy and everybody at WCP that helped make our day so wonderful!!!

When I first spoke to the owner about booking the Hornsby House Inn for our wedding, he promised they would make it magical and boy did they deliver! The venue is beautiful, our guests could not stop gushing about how lovely it was. The rooms are great and it was amazing to be able to stay on site. And the staff! We worked primarily with Tom and Kat and they both went absolutely above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Whether it was setting up tables, helping us pack up leftover food, or driving us in the vintage Model T, they were always there to help in any way. Truly an amazing weekend at an amazing place!

This is the perfect spot for having an all in one wedding. I wouldn’t recommend this location if you planned on having a huge wedding. The exterior area is just as beautiful as the interior if not better. The venue did an amazing job keeping us informed of certain things as well as being flexible when visiting the location on several different occasions.

We had a lovely experience with this venue. The food, decor, and staff were so helpful and made our day so special.

Grand Affairs truly made my dream come true for my big day! My family has worked with the venue for multiple occasions, but this was my first wedding experience. I was not disappointed at all, and Ms. Jaki is the best person ever to plan your wedding. She is attentive, observant, and extremely creative! She also treats you like family and deserves her flowers. I would recommend this venue to anyone, especially if you love great food and fellowship.

Deep creek landing marina is a beautiful place to have your wedding! The views are beautiful, the staff is so easy to work with and made multiple appointments to set up our venue to see how we wanted it to be before our wedding date. Budget friendly, we chose the 2 day rental to make it easier on us. Highly recommend!

Mary was amazing !! She was very flexible and accommodating to our requests ! I was with us every step of the way. I am not from the Chincoteague area but she was very patient with us. The venue space was very large. The decorating team had more than enough time to decorated! I was more than pleased. Overjoyed really ! I am writing this review 2 years later and I am still in awe of that day !! Thank you thank you !! Ms. Mary, you are the absolute best !!! May God bless you in abundance !

We did not chose this venue although it was nice. However I wanted to write a review of our experience with Gretchen and the community members while visiting for our tour. In the wedding venue industry their kindness, price, flexibility to access the venue, cancellation or reschedule possibilities they offer are unmatched. She spoke highly of others we were scouting as well.
