Kate and Jen and Elevate Green Events, formerly known as Green Apple Weddings & Events, were the absolute best wedding planners a couple could ask for! The one detail we knew going into wedding planning was our venue, and upon speaking with the venue coordinator, they highly suggested we hire Kate and Jen as our planners - that night, we immediately sent the email to check their availability and thank goodness we were able to book them - they were the best planners we didn't even know we needed! From our first call with Kate and Jen, they were so great to chat with and understood our vision for our wedding immediately. They made recommendations for every single vendor and we went with only those they recommended to us - all of whom turned our amazing! Kate and Jen were so organized and available to us through the entirety of the wedding planning process; they thought of everything, and it never seemed overwhelming to plan our big day because they were such excellent partners and guided us every step of the way! Our wedding was in New York City and they have such good relationships with so many vendors in and around the city; they knew personally our venue and Church coordinators before we did, they even have an in-house rentals business we chose to utilize, and all of this made it so easy to trust them with all of the planning! Aside from being excellent planners, they are such kind people as well, and we had a great time just chatting with them during each planning session. On the day of, they took care of absolutely everything - they made our vision come to life and the day / night couldn't have been more beautiful and perfect! We are so, so grateful for Kate and Jen and we miss them already. We definitely highly recommend them as event planners / designers for anyone looking to hire the best professionals - we would choose them all over again!

Green Apple Weddings/Kate and Jen were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in June 2023! We hired them for day of coordination, design planning and rentals for our wedding and they took our vision of a dream wedding and made it a reality!

Wedding planning went so smoothly and was less stressful because we had Kate and Jen on our team. They helped coordinate with our multiple vendors and were very communicative leading up to the day. Any question that we may have had, they answered very quickly! Kate was available for site visits, last walkthroughs, she was our right hand throughout the entire planning process.

On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Any minor issue that arose, Kate and team handled with ease and we are so grateful. Without them , I’m definitely sure we would not have been so calm and confident about the events for the day! We look back at our wedding gallery from the day and want to relive the day over and over!

Green Apple weddings & Events are the best!! I can't say enough good things about Kate and her assistant Jennifer. Kate and Jennifer help with my daughters wedding, which was beautiful, with a big help from these lovely ladies. Kate came in the last few months of us organizing the wedding.
We need help bringing it home and picking up the pieces that we might have missed. Kate kept us focused and help us tie up the loose ends. Reaching out to all the venders to make sure things were in order, suggestions and ideas on how to handle certain things. We had a barn wedding and there were many thing that we needed to be creative about solving.

We never expected to have the perfect wedding, but thanks to Kate and Jen/Green Apple, we truly had the perfect wedding for us. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of, and Kate and Jen made the process so easy. Between choosing the venue, picking the band, dealing with COVID uncertainties, actually running the show the day of, and a million other things, they were always responsive, patient, and so much fun to work with. It’s hard to know what the perfect wedding will look like ahead of time, and although we had some vague general ideas and a couple weirdly specific requests, we weren’t really sure about how it would all come together. Kate and Jen took the time to listen to us, giving us formal questions and plenty of their time to talk things out informally. It felt like they immediately got what we were saying and had ideas about how to make our wedding come to life. They were honest when they thought something might not work, and creative when we were trying to come up with solutions to an issue. All of that was so important because it could often feel really hard to plan a wedding while managing two busy careers and everything else in our lives, and it was so reassuring to know we had them making sure everything was on track. Their experience and their willingness to get to know us made everything come together that whole weekend in a way we’ll never forget. The best part about working with Kate and Jen is how much they clearly LOVE what they do, and truly feel invested in the couples that they are planning with. This really does not feel like just a job to them, and we felt so supported throughout by their warm and personal approach. We genuinely miss them so much already, and it's only been a month since our wedding.

Kate and Jen are the absolute best. They made our day so seamless and magical, and were so accommodating in the ~years~ (COVID wedding, hello!) we spent planning our amazing day. They were always positive, upbeat, warm and calming. They also never pushed us to spend more and we actually ended up under budget. Our wedding venue was very bare-bones and they helped us coordinate with so many vendors to make everything run smoothly. Allow me to set the scene for you. We had just gotten done cancelling our “dream wedding” due to COVID. We still wanted to get married on our original date, but had to start from scratch to come up with a plan for a safe, socially distant mini-wedding. Enter Jen and Kate of Green Apple Weddings. They worked tirelessly (and I don’t use that term lightly!) to help us plan an event at a house upstate that is not set up for large events. From working directly with vendors, to helping us know what questions to ask, to visiting the site in person with us to develop a run of show, they guided us every step of the way. We had no idea how many little details go into putting a wedding together, but we never felt overwhelmed because we knew Jen and Kate had our backs! They even helped supply us with decorations for our socially-distant reception and oversaw our rehearsal. In all sincerity, there is no way we could have pulled off our special day without their incredible skill. We are truly grateful for Green Apple and recommend them whole-heartedly. Special Bonus: They are super down to earth and fun to be around!

Hiring Green Apple Weddings was easily the best decision my husband and I made at any point in the wedding planning process, not counting—you know—deciding to get married. Kate and Jen are incredibly warm and incredibly professional and made sure our wedding day was a delight and a breeze.
