Also, Monika gave us a sneak peek the next day - which was seriously such a wonderful gift to have after our wedding - and our full album was ready when we got back from our honeymoon a few weeks later - plus, a very generous and sweet surprise. The wedding album is easily accessible and easy to share with family & friends, which everyone loved - and I still find myself scrolling through the pictures every day.

I got married at the Highlands Country Club in October 2018. I reached out to a photographer on the recommended vendors list who I thought closely matched our style. They were booked, and recommended we look at Monika's work. That is probably one of the BEST things that happened to us during wedding planning. When I spoke to Monika on the phone, I felt so at ease. She worked with us on our budget, got to know us, took FABULOUS engagement photos and the day of our wedding, no words. She was awesome. Monika photographed my wedding in the Hudson Valley last month and was a joy to work with in every respect. My husband and I were interested in finding a thoughtful photographer who would capture our wedding day in an authentic and beautiful way and Monika provided precisely that and then some. She also was a fantastic and clear communicator in coordinating everything in the days leading up to the wedding. Monika Photography was the best decision I made in planning our wedding!!! From the engagement session to wedding day, every moment working with her was a joy! Hiring Monika to be our engagement session and wedding day photographer was the best wedding planning decision we made! My husband and I got married in the Hudson Valley on 10/8/16. I'm not sure that I could say enough good things about Monika to really capture how great it was to work with her - From the first email chain and her quick replies, to meeting with my then-fiance and I to get to know us better over drinks, to checking in via email and with a thoughtful holiday gift, to her professionalism the day-of and great choice of 2nd shooter, to the post-wedding follow-up with an absolutely amazing, robust gallery of photos and the surprise of receiving a set of beautiful prints - her work is amazing as-is, and then she also goes above and beyond to make the whole experience great. We are so happy to have such an amazing set of photos that will allow us to re-live the day again and again!

Monika is simply the best! We really appreciate all of the extra touches and effort she extended. In addition to the welcome and Christmas gifts and multiple Facetime sessions, she even came to our neighborhood and took the time to have coffee with us to get to know my then-fiance and I and get an idea of our personalities. It's so special.

On our wedding day, she was very professional and commanded everyone to their proper places (as a photographer ought to amidst the chaos) but she was warm all throughout. It rained pretty much the entire day of our wedding and it was very cold up in the Catskills but Monika maintained her calm; she and Magda were such great sports!

Most importantly, the pictures came about absolutely stunning; they were exactly what we wanted. My fiance and I aren't very good at posing in front of the camera so we requested that she take as many candid shots possible and she definitely delivered. Each and every photo captured the emotions from our special day; we're very happy with them!

I don’t know where to start because Monika is simply AMAZING!!!! Like all brides I knew that besides having a great husband, the wedding day is all about a fabulous dress and fabulous photos.
