They are expensive, but truly worth every penny. You are paying for 2 uber-talented primary shooters who are both highly personable and genuinely fun to work with. They are a fantastic duo and made us feel comfortable the whole night while also being in the background - we didn't even notice they were there most of the time! Marisa and John at Redfield Photography were genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding - truly. We absolutely LOVED our photos - both engagement and day / night-of - and they are such warm, inviting, friendly, and delightful people to have been by our sides on our big day. They came recommended by our wedding planners and from the initial consultation call - it was clear they'd be the perfect choice for photography. We had an NYC wedding and they traveled to us both for the engagement session and wedding day and were early for both. We had a lovely time getting to know them that day as individuals as we shot photos throughout downtown Manhattan for our enagement session, and that made us all the more comfortable with them when they big day arrived. Prior to the wedding, we mentioned thinking about adding a videographer and they suggested one to us - because we already trusted Redfield and their work, we elected to go with their suggestion without hesitation! On the big day, they captured every single important moment and were constantly around, which was amazing! When you scroll through the photos you can just feel how much love there is, from the first look down to every guest interaction…it’s just perfect. They didn’t miss anything or anyone. This allows us to continue sharing this special day with everyone who we made memories with. We’re going to do what most people don’t after a wedding and send a photo to every guest in their thank you card as well as give them access to a folder where they can see all the guest photos from the day. We’ve already started sending these out and the response from guests has been so heart warming. For example, I got a message from a guest after receiving the photo in their card, “We love this so much. It’s such a beautiful picture of our family it could’ve been our Christmas card photo.” It’s amazing that we’re able to do that without even having asked for it. It was such an amazing feeling seeing it captured. Not only did they create the most beautiful moments for us to reflect back on but they made our day special just by being a part of it. Right from the start, they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and relaxed as we were getting ready. It felt like having friends around who just happened to be amazing at taking photos. And when things got a bit off track (because let’s face it, it’s a wedding!), John and Marisa stepped in seamlessly, acting like impromptu wedding coordinators (especially in those moments, when it can be hard to get the attention of the actual wedding coordinators as they might be dealing with another issue in the background).

But here’s the best part - they didn’t just focus on us. They zipped around, snapping amazing photos of our guests. Everyone felt special, and we heard so many compliments about how great they were at making people feel special and at ease. It's hard to describe how much of a sixth sense Marisa and John have to be at the right place at the right time and popup to capture so many different moments throughout the day (of not only us - but all of our wedding guests). Our wedding photos came out beautifully, and they really captured all our special moments!

Also, we added the engagement photo shoot with them, which we recommend as it really helps you build a rapport with them and get comfortable in front of the camera (it also helps that John and Marisa are the best hype people). We initially decided to forego it, but decided to do it a week before our wedding (and the Redfield team was super accommodating to let us add it). The engagement photos are beautiful, and we felt so confident and ready to hit our best poses on our wedding day.
