Genevieve was fantastic to work with. She was super good at putting us (two people who really hate photos) at ease, and got some amazing shots. Great to work with, love the photos. We really love the candid shots she got of guests dancing .

Genevieve was an absolute all star for our wedding and our favorite vendor we chose. From the get go on our wedding day she helped to make sure the dress was put on properly and she scoped out all the best places for our pictures to make sure the lighting and scenery were just right. She was a joy to work with and when we got the pictures back we and all of our family and friends were awed at how well they turned out. Especially the night sky pictures!! For us, finding a truly talented wedding photographer was high on our priority list. Portrait photography is one of my husband's creative outlets, so I decided to let him take the lead in selecting a photographer for our big day. He. Was. PICKY. We combed through many dozens of photographers before we discovered Genevieve, but the search was absolutely worth it! She is a true artist and has such a wonderful eye for composition and lighting. She can quickly look at any space and see the angles, highlights, shadows, and natural framing elements of the environment that will make every shot look stunning. It’s so important to get the shot right straight out of camera and not just rely on shallow depth of field and tons of post-processing. Genieve has the vision and talent, a photographer’s photographer. We are thrilled with our engagement pictures and our beautiful wedding day pictures. Genevieve is so much fun, which is truly important since you’ll be spending a lot of time with your photographer. She not only captured all the key moments, but also a wide variety of details from many unique perspectives. Also, Genevieve was extremely helpful during the planning process. I absolutely LOVE our wedding photos. I did a lot of research on photography because in my opinion, all the details and the planning and the expense is largely lost if you can’t look back and remember it. To that end it was really important to me to have a photographer that captured the right mood, the authenticity, the imagery, and of course the portraits. I wanted both fine art and documentary style, which is kind of a tall order I think - and Genevieve more than delivered. The quality of the photos is beyond all of my expectations, and I also really appreciated that Genevieve is such an experienced professional she had a lot of suggestions that helped us enjoy our day more. This was also invaluable on the day - it’s amazing how quick the day goes and when it was really important to stay on the timeline, Genevieve kept us on schedule. She also worked seamlessly with my videographer. And, at the end of what I know was a grueling day, Genevieve and her team kept on to make sure she captured our send off. I’ve also known friends who either didn’t receive their wedding photos on time or didn’t receive them at all; Genevieve delivered them very fast - while we were still on our honeymoon one week later! Genevieve and her assistant Slavi were absolutely awesome. Total professionals and a lot of fun to work with. I (the groom) was expecting to have a great time taking photos, but I totally did. The sneak peak photos we've seen so far were gorgeous and totally captured the look we were going for. And it was relaxing to work with them! We can't wait to see the rest. I would hire Genevieve again in a heartbeat.

I cannot say enough good things about Genevieve. Every aspect of working with her for our June 2023 wedding was wonderful. She is professional, prompt with communication, flexible, and immensely talented. We did an engagement shoot with her also, mostly to get comfortable with being photographed, and it was a great choice. By the time of our wedding, we felt like Genevieve was an old friend. She works fast and efficiently and captured all of the shots we wanted for our day. Her second shooter for the day off was also charming and fun to work with. Even our guests commented how impressed they were with how present the photographers were.

The best part - my husband cried again when we got our photos back and looked through them to relive our special day. We cannot recommend Genevieve enough!

My venue recommended Gen, and we are so glad we chose to work with her. From our first call, Gen makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed (which is especially important when you are as awkward around a camera as I am!). She does an incredible job of keeping the trains running on time day of , and corralling bridal party and family members. Her team is equally as wonderful. Her shots are quick, efficient, and absolutely beautiful. She even captured everyone's personalities on the dance floor. Lastly, she took great care to include all of our specific shots, including a photo I recreated of my grandma.

Genevieve is such a talented photographer!! We hired her for our small COVID wedding and our large celebration, and the pictures from both were truly amazing. I really can't thank her enough for all the gorgeous photos we have from both our celebrations.
Genevieve was also so great to work with. She was really flexible when we had to switch our plans because of COVID. She was on time for everything and extremely organized during both events. We have a really large family, and she did such a good job directing everyone and getting all the shots we wanted quickly. It was also freezing on both our wedding days, and Genevieve was such a good sport (and actually so enthusiastic) about braving the cold to get some amazing outdoor pictures. (Those are some of my favorite, so I'm so glad she braved the cold with us!!)
I really can't recommend Genevieve enough. You can't go wrong if you hire her, and I promise you will end up with amazing pictures from your wedding!

Once you begin planning a wedding, you realize that finding someone helpful and very responsive is not extremely commonplace. Genevieve was quick to get back to me from the start and she had answers to all of my questions. I chose to hire her because of her responsiveness, professionalism, photography style, and the fact that she edits her own photos (a huge plus for me since many these days do not do it on their own).

The day of had a few hiccups, as can be expected with any wedding. However, Genevieve handled everything like a true professional. While waiting for the ceremony to begin and there was a bit of downtime, Genevieve even helped arrange some of the flowers last minute at the venue. She was there anytime I requested a photo, otherwise she did exactly what I wanted.. captured moments! We had a small wedding, so we did not need multiple photographers. She single-handedly captured everything we could have ever wanted to see from our day.

You will not regret hiring Genevieve and I really can't thank her enough for going with the flow on a stressful day and returning beautiful photos in an extremely reasonable timeframe to us.
