The Finer Points, LLC serves the VA, DC, and MD areas, specializing in weddings and events with over 20+ years of experience in hospitality and event etiquette. The Finer Points Event Planning and Design is located in Historic Leesburg in “A Little Wedding Studio”, in the heart of Loudoun County’s Virginia Wine Country. Their wedding and event studio is an intimate space and the perfect location to be inspired and fully plan your next event. With shelves full of samples, beautiful fabrics, table coverings, place settings, and glassware, The Finer Points has made it more convenient than ever for their clients to select everything they need for planning and designing their wedding or event all in one location. Loudoun County, Virginia, offers beautiful rolling hills, intimate and historic venue locations, breweries, wineries, and local shops. The Finer Points Event Planning and Design is a member of Hunt Country Celebrations and a member of Visit Loudoun, serving on the Wedding Advisory Board, which surrounds them with some of the top wedding vendors in the area.
The Finer Points Coastal, LLC serves the Outer Banks of North Carolina and is a sister company to The Finer Points, LLC. The Finer Points Coastal, LLC focuses its services on areas Duck and up north through the Carova-4x4 area. The Finer Points Coastal Event Planning and Design team is local and fully supports the beautiful Outer Banks area through the event industry and local vendors. They are partners with The Corolla Wild Horse Fund and administer the “Corolla Wild Horse Fund Event Donation Program,” which allows couples to donate to the Corolla wild horses on behalf of their event held in the Outer Banks. The Finer Points Coastal team are also members of The Outer Banks Wedding Association and members of the Currituck Chambers of Commerce. In the Spring of 2023, a family retail store will open called “The Event Boutique” in historic Corolla Village, walking distance to Whalehead and local family-owned shops. “The Event Boutique” will offer inspirational table settings and décor for casual to elegant entertaining for purchase. Within “The Event Boutique” will also be the official design and planning location for The Finer Points Coastal planners and designers, allowing clients the ability to view event rental samples in this inspirational location and fully plan their event in the Outer Banks.
P’s and Q’s® is an award-winning Event Etiquette Consulting Program that offers Seminars and Courses in Event Etiquette, Social Etiquette, Communications Etiquette, and Table Protocol, both American and Continental Dining for children aged 3 through adults through The Finer Points Event Planning and Design. P’s and Q’s® was founded and created by one of the owners of the Finer Points Event Planning in 2005 and the program is backed by The International School of Protocol. The Finer Points, LLC and The Finer Points Coastal, LLC offer P’s and Q’s® in both locations upon client request.

Lynn & Priscilla have years of experience in wedding/event planning and they make a fabulous team. In addition to being creative, professional, and organized, they are a pleasure to work with. This combination enables brides to know that everything will be handled properly in a stress-free manner. It is important to have a good working relationship during the wedding planning process, but the real assessments can't be made until after the wedding is over. As a floral preservationist, I have a unique perspective in that I get to hear how everything went at the wedding, usually within 24 hours of the event, when the flowers are dropped off for pressing. This is the time when the details are fresh in the minds of the brides and their families. The "day after" reviews that I hear from Lynn & Priscilla's clients are always glowing ones!
