We had the pleasure of having Jake as our MC for our wedding evening, and he was absolutely incredible! Jake actually DJ’d my sister’s wedding 11 years ago, and he was so good that I knew I had to have him for my big day too.

He was such a pleasure to work with; attentive to our needs, flexible with our requests, and masterful at keeping the energy high all night long. Jake crafted the perfect playlist, kept us on track throughout the evening, and brought such a fun, professional vibe to the celebration.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Jake! From the very beginning, he was kind, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with—but what really stood out was how gracefully he handled everything on the day of our wedding.

A storm rolled in just before our ceremony, and we had to make a last-minute call to move everything inside. Amid all the chaos and shifting plans, he stayed calm, flexible, and supportive. We had several last-minute requests for some music adjustments, and he handled each one with such professionalism.

Our one goal for the wedding was to keep the dance floor alive all night long and thanks to him that goal was accomplished. He kept the energy going the entire time, we are so grateful to have had Jake as part of our team. Highly, highly recommend!

Highly recommend Jake from Dream Day DJs! Dream Day DJs came recommended from our day-of wedding coordinator, and from our first call, it was clear Jake is professional, attentive, and invested in making your day match your vision. My one must-have at the wedding was a photo booth, and I loved that they provide this service as well so I didn't have to contract an additional vendor. They also have a very reasonably priced option where they put a copy of each photo booth strip into an album for guests to sign, eliminating the need for a separate guest book! We really loved that. Jake also walked us through uplighting options he provides to add a little more ambiance to our venue. All in all, having one vendor provide three separate services made things efficient and easy from a planning perspective.

From what I could tell on that whirlwind of a day, everything ran smoothly and on time. What really stood out for us:
-Jake provided audio equipment for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and all went exactly as planned. He worked with us to ensure cocktail hour had a specially curated song list (Dirty Dancing themed!) and with our friend who played guitar for the ceremony and needed amplification. I was really worried about that part at first, but he emailed with our friend before the wedding to confirm logistics and equipment and then met up with him while he was setting up the space to do a sound check.
-He was very familiar with our venue (Sweeney Barn) and didn't need anything from us on the day, which was really nice, so we could focus on enjoying the pre-ceremony time with our wedding party and photographer.
-He made sure our little "asks" were taken care of, for example, ensuring that no matter how long the intros took for our wedding party we entered on a fun and upbeat part of the entrance song for the reception.
-He was responsive throughout the entire planning process, even in the time before the wedding (more than three months out) when most vendors ignore you!

Several guests have made a point to tell us since the wedding that he was an excellent DJ and the music choices, order, and mixing stood out to them. If you want a DJ who is not only talented and professional, but also genuinely passionate about making your event amazing, you should feel comfortable working with Jake.
