Having our wedding at Floyd event center was an incredible choice. It is a great price for all the amenities they offer and the flexibility of the venue to accommodate what you are looking for. The venue itself is amazing, with lots of options and indoor/outdoor space. The scenery is stunning! We loved that there was lodging, cabins and a campsite at the venue too.

I can not say enough about Maggie! She was the BEST. She thinks of everything. I would just get the venue again because of her and the expertise she brings to the table. She is top notch & was a blessing to us. 🥰

The beauty of the facility is enough to make it the perfect wedding venue, but the staff and coordinator - Maggie Hessinger really make it a top notch value.

Amazing Staff: I cannot say enough great things about Maggie and her staff. We had a winter wedding and used the main celebration hall for both the ceremony and reception. We were allowed in the facility ahead of time to hang as much lights and decor as we wanted. Then Maggie and her team were able to flip the space, setting the tables in the most precise way we had planned. Maggie was on top of everything and personally coordinated with all of our vendors - the only thing I had to worry about on the day of the wedding was simply walking down the aisle.

Space: The space is absolutely stunning. I had several people ask if the place had just opened that year because everything is in such pristine condition. It can accommodate a variety of wedding sizes. We comfortably say 160 guests in the main room. The wooden beams in the celebration hall give it a rustic - woodsy feel without being over-the-top "barn" style. The lobby and cafe area are the perfect spots for cocktail hour, food, and bar. There's even a massive commercial kitchen - it was so easy for my mom to prepare all the cocktail food using their provided pots, pans, utensils, food warmers etc. The outside is stunning and there are tons of great spots for gorgeous photos - from the love sign barn to the pond, to the bridge in the woods.

Extras: One really cool thing about this space is that they care about the environment and in doing so encourage couples to leave behind anything don't wish to keep to donate to other brides versus throwing it away. We were able to use the facility's giant wooden slabs, candles, lights, signs, and so much decor that saved us a ton of money. It's also the perfect venue for accommodating less-accessible individuals. Everything is close together and wheelchair accessible, so it's easy for grandparents to get around the entire venue. One other cool thing, is that Maggie allowed us to have our dog in the wedding and walk down the aisle. That made our day super special!

Value: The value of this place is amazing. My fiance and I looked at several venues and none could provide as much at the Floyd Event Center did at such an exceptional price. It can be totally catered to your needs. We booked all 3 days, knowing we wanted the extra time to decorate and clean up, but you can get a super good deal if you're looking for just a one-day rental.

The logistics and flow of our wedding went perfectly and I give most of the credit to the layout of the venue and the quality staff provided by the venue.

I had my wedding at the EcoVillage last weekend and it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT - and I'm saying that despite the fact that the sky opened up 5 minutes before our ceremony started, dumping 2 1/2 inches of rain over the next hour, and we had to move it all inside. The move inside was quick and well-coordinated thanks to the fantastic event coordinator, Maggie, and her team. The inside of the event center is also beautiful in itself, which made the move inside easier to swallow for me. Overall, the venue is stunningly beautiful and sustainable and the nearby town of Floyd is full of character. They have tables, chairs, glassware, plates, silverware, etc., and also a lending library of some wedding decorations, which is all great and makes planning a bit simpler since those items are included. Maggie was endlessly helpful to us in the days leading up to the wedding and on the day of, and was also very knowledgable and able to answer questions in my months of planning. She has helped to coordinate a lot of weddings there, so she is able to give recommendations and feedback on what has worked in the past, etc, and she manages the wedding day logistics very well. My family and wedding party stayed on site with us. It was great to have everyone so close. The lodge is also a nice place for the bridal party to get ready - nice and airy for beautiful pictures! I really loved having my wedding here and I would 100% recommend it to anyone searching for the perfect wedding location.

Honestly could not have chosen a more PERFECT venue! The entire property is so beautiful and is surrounded by such wonderful views on every side! We had our ceremony and reception both at the Bermed Lodge and it was perfect! The outside lawn is very spacious and the rooms inside are amazing! The event center is beautiful as well and has even more room! But the most amazing thing about the Floyd EcoVillage Event Center is the Event Coordinating staff: Maggie and Billie. Maggie is literally a fairy godmother and just about anything you wish, she can make it happen for you! She is one of the kindest, most level-headed, and most genuine people I have ever met and I truly had no worries because she was there to help us plan. The same can be said for her assistant Billie! Billie is just as knowledgeable and friendly as Maggie and is just as willing to help make the big day as special as possible! The staff here are truly what made this venue as amazing as it was. We felt like, by the end, Maggie and Billie were part of the family and it was truly an honor to have had them as part of our big day!

The Floyd Eco Village was the most amazing place to have my wedding and reception. Maggie was very helpful with everything. She helped out with things that were not required for her to do. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and has lodging on site. I also had my wedding rehearsal and dinner on site the night before the wedding. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone I know looking for a place for a wedding or any other event.

When visiting the floyd eco village I was greatly surprised! The pond offers a beautiful overlook! The indoor space is just as gorgeous outside and would be absolutely perfect for a romantic intimate wedding. Sadly I have too large of a guest list!
