Erin Long is a dream. From the moment we found her portfolio, we knew she was the one. Her work struck the perfect balance between stunning portraiture and fly-on-the-wall candids that feel honest, intimate, and moodily cinematic all at once. We wanted to be present on our wedding day, not pulled away for an extended time to pose. We wanted to live it. And we trusted Erin to capture it as it unfolded. She did exactly that, and more.

We started with an engagement shoot, which helped us get comfortable and let our guards down in front of the camera. Erin made it feel effortless. By the time the wedding arrived, it felt like she was a friend we could completely trust.

Then, the week of, her assistant had to cancel last-minute due to illness. Erin handled it solo and absolutely crushed it. She was everywhere she needed to be, somehow without ever feeling in the way. Hustling hard and making magic.

We’ve only seen the preview gallery so far, and we’re already blown away. The photos are breathtaking. We look like ourselves, just... brighter. Like a classic romance or a still from a beautiful film. She took cues from our personal background, wedding theme, and venue, and took them to heart – our theatre background and vintage train station venue was begging for some old-fashioned, dramatic shots, but we still felt like ourselves. Not airbrushed, not overly styled, just real and joyful and full of life.

Erin is professional, honest, talented, flexible, and kind. She kept us grounded when things got chaotic. She told us when the light was just right. She knew when to step in and when to disappear into the background. We can’t imagine anyone else capturing our day.

Erin did an absolutely amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos! My partner and I had a fairly intimate (50 people) wedding and wanted the day to feel intimate and casual. Erin and an assistant (Christina) photographed my wedding on 12/21 at Valley View Farm. Erin was amazing from the time we inquired about her services. She was thorough in all of the information she provided about rates and what each package entailed. She was super sweet and helpful in answering any lingering questions we had as well. On the day of the wedding, she arrived exactly when she said she would and began taking photographs right away. She was amazing with both candid and posed photographs and made our first look perfect. The poor women (both photographers) stood outside in 20 degree weather with us so we could get pictures in the snow. She even laid down in the snow to get a better shot of my shoes. She is dedicated! I have a huge family with several divorces so there were a lot of different family combinations that needed to be photographed with potential for disaster. Erin and Christina were so efficient in getting all of these shots done in such a short time, all while not losing her patience with my giant, and rather loud family. Her presence was super comforting and I didn’t feel like I had a camera in my face all day. We’ve gotten some preview photos and they are absolutely stunning, I can’t wait to see the rest! I would highly recommend Erin for any photography needs you may have!

After looking through our venue’s preferred vendor list, and doing some research online, we thought it would be a good idea to meet with Erin and see if she would be the right choice and fit for our wedding. We met up with Erin over coffee and after leaving our meeting we knew had to hire Erin right away, no questions asked. It was one of the easiest and best decisions we made!!

Erin is not only extremely talented, but she did such a good job making us feel comfortable (this is a big deal because I’m the opposite of comfortable when it comes to getting my picture taken! Haha). Erin’s calm and kind demeanor allowed us to relax and have fun during our engagement shoot and wedding. She is a true artist and talent, but also an amazing and kind soul.

Oh and the pictures.....We just got our preview pics from the wedding and wow!!!! Erin is so good at capturing emotions and moments and it’s perfect. We can’t stop smiling!

Long story short - Erin was perfect to work with in all aspects from start to finish. You definitely will not be disappointed with her. She’s the best !!!

Erin was a dream to work with - she kept the mood light and fun for our engagement shoot, and was up for anything at our wedding (including pictures on the beach in the rain). She managed our big families and their big personalities with ease, and the end result was magical!

Erin is just fantastic. From our first conversation I knew she had to be our photographer, and as soon as my husband met her he agreed. She made me feel so comfortable and confident, even though neither my husband nor I are very fond of having our pictures taken. She was also so flexible and responsive, she made every part of the process easy. And all of that is before getting to the important part: the photos. We only have the preview photos so far (which we got really quickly--it was great to have something to share so soon after the wedding) but I LOVE them, and so does everyone else. They are so natural and beautiful and really capture the day. I can't wait to see more, and I hope I have a chance to work with Erin again!
