Our wedding would not have been the same without Sarah. As we live in Canada, wedding planning from afar would have been a nightmare, but Sarah made everything easy. For 1 year, she patiently met regularly online with us and was quick to respond to emails. She was organized and very helpful, with excellent suggestions on everything from floral suggestions (using arch flowers as centerpieces, using bridesmaid bouquets at the head table) to hair and makeup recommendations (Mai Tokioka was truly as fantastic as she said) to restaurant recommendations.

Sarah offered to receive packages at her home so we didn't have to overload our suitcases bringing things over from Canada, and also offered to print our welcome board, seating chart and display photos. This made life so much easier for us.

Because of renovations at our wedding venue, we weren't able to stay there and had to stay across the street at a sister hotel. Sarah ensured that we weren't inconvenienced by having her assistants help move our things from room to room, and made sure nothing got lost.

On the day of the wedding, Sarah had 2 assistants to ensure the day ran smoothly. One assistant was very sweet and followed me around to ensure I had everything I need and helped with my dress for photos. The other assistant so kindly ran around from hotel to hotel when I forgot my garter. Sarah herself made sure everything was perfect, including music, cake florals, name plates, guest sign-in table, and even helped set up the electric keyboard I requested so I could play a song just before my processional.

I could go on and on about Sarah, but suffice to say, if you need the most perfect vendor, you should definitely choose her from Engaging Moments.

We were so lucky to have Sarah and her team for our wedding. While Sarah was assigned to us through our venue, we would have chosen her anyway due to her professionalism and experience. In the months leading up to the wedding, we had regular meetings to go over all the arrangements and coordinate vendor needs. Since we are located in CA, we were put at ease to know Sarah had our event handled. Sarah was always prepared and had great advice on how the layout of the event would be, and ways to accommodate our requests/wishes. She also provided the florals for the centerpieces and recommendations for other vendors, so we could keep our costs a little lower than they already were.

On the day, everything went smoothly and any little issue was dealt with in a swift and professional manner. Her assistant was a great help to me and kept me on time and in a state of calm. We really didn't have to worry about anything, and got to be completely carefree since Sarah was on top of it. We absolutely would use Sarah and her team again and can't recommend her services enough.

Patience and perfection are the first two words that come to mind when describing our experience with Sarah. She made everything from the planning to the execution seamless for our wedding in Hawaii. We lived in Florida throughout the planning process and she was flexible with communication with our time difference. Aside from just her skills in the plans… she also has a talent for floral arrangements. She put together stunning orchids and tropical flowers for our arch, bridesmaids, cake and table settings. Far more beautiful than any sample I had reviewed rom nearby florists. She also made it much easier than dealing with more vendors to just go through her for everything. We had a large wedding party (18ppl) and she was able to manage all our craziness with grace, kept everyone on track and on time. She even got us custom leis for 60 people and helped hand deliver them last minute and our rehearsal dinner. Everything was done with thoughtfulness and care. I really enjoyed working with her and miss talking to her daily because she is so kind! I hope that everyone gets the chance to work with Sarah!

Sarah Aoyama is awesome!! We were in contact with Engaging Moments fairly early in our wedding planning journey, and throughout all of our communications Sarah has been transparent, kind, and in tune with what we wanted for our wedding. When I first started talking with Sarah, I had only a dim idea of what I wanted visually, and she helped bring my ragtag Pinterest board to life. We hired Engaging Moments for florals and through our various venue changes and date changes, Sarah has been continually understanding and transparent about her availability.

On the day of the wedding, she pulled off our floral vision with aplomb. I wanted something clean, bright, and classic and she delivered on all fronts. Sarah was such a joy to work with and is amazing at what she does! We recently had our wedding in Oahu, Hawaii (July 2015) and could not be happier that we've chosen Sarah to be our wedding planner. We never knew or met Sarah in person before and found her through wedding photos & reviews on the internet. This was a pure destination wedding as every one of our guests, including ourselves, were flying to Hawaii for the wedding. We knew it was quite risky to trust someone so far away to handle 99% of this once-in-a-lifetime event, but we were not disappointed.

Sarah managed a seamless coordination and we did not have to worry about a thing. She was also our florist, and our bilingual MC & Translator (she's native-fluent in both English and Japanese). Most of the vendors we used were recommended by her and they were all amazing. She is always so nice, friendly and calm. She also went an extra-mile to help us with many other things as well to make sure that we were in good hands. Until this day, our guests are still raving about how lovely and perfect the wedding was.

Sarah and her team are very professional and easy to work with. Sarah is very good at organizing, we didn't have to worry about setup. Sachi-san is the best assistant ever. Having Sarah and her team at our wedding gave us opportunity to enjoy the day without having to worry about a thing.

My husband and I just had our dream wedding in Honolulu and Sarah Aoyama made it happen! We live in Minnesota and we had to do everything over phone and emails, without actually seeing anything. One of my now-husband's friends recommended Sarah to us and we went with her Day of Coordination package. Although three weeks prior to wedding date communication is included in the service, Sarah offered to answer questions and help with details two month before the date. Throughout the whole time, Sarah has been very quick at responding to our questions and she provided great opinions on even the smallest details. Sarah is very nice and sweet in person and knows her business well. I highly recommend her as she will make your wedding successful and your life so much easier!

We had our wedding at the Halekulani and hired Sarah as our planner. Sarah is a sweet and extremely easy going. She was our favorite of the vendors. Her laid back approach made the wedding process less stressful. It was truly a joy to work with her because she is 1) a wealth of information, 2) trustworthy and 3) reliable. Like all weddings ours had some unexpected events during the planning process. However, Sarah always kept a positive attitude, offered a helping hand and was completely flexible to change. You can tell she loves her job and wants to make you have wedding you want and deserve. Lastly, her pricing is a great value. Her package is at least half what other planners charge, while providing more service than the others. In the end our wedding was beautiful and went absolutely smoothly. It really was thanks to Sarah and her staff.
