Class Act Catering is a Baltimore-based catering and food services company focused on providing our customers with quality service and the utmost level of satisfaction.
Jim Britton developed a passion and love for catering after many years of being employed by one of Baltimore’s premiere catering organizations. In 1991 his entrepreneurial spirit ignited the beginning of Class Act Catering. Jim believed in world-class service and on this premise he developed a professional staffing agency. Committed to enhancing his current endeavor his steadfast nature helped him to secure his first contract at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. In 1992, Mr. Britton began the development and growth of what has now become one of Maryland’s leading minority catering companies.
As the catering organization achieved a considerable influx in clientele, Mr. Britton decided that he would broaden his horizons and embark upon the restaurant industry. This vision gave birth to Class Act Café’, which was nestled in one of Baltimore’s emergent communities, and serviced employers and visitors of John Hopkins Hospital. Later, he opened another restaurant in downtown Baltimore which was called Britton’s. Class Act Catering is currently one of Baltimore’s largest minority employers that provides professional training and job placement for an average of 200 employees on an annually.
As a minority owned and certified company, Class Act Catering is able to contract with various city and state agencies for the many contracts that are set aside explicitly for minority contractors.

If your looking for great food..Jim Britton is the Man!!! The Bryant wedding was impeccable. We are still talking about the food. You can't even compare the menu to the usual wedding food.
