Hunt Valley Catering catered our 100 person wedding at Gramercy Mansion.

We worked with Darlene for the planning process and we were pleased with how accomodating she was. My wife doesn't drink beer or wine but HVC was able to supply Surfside canned cocktails for our wedding. My sister is pregnant and HVC made sure that she had sprite in her champagne glass. My friend has a nut and dairy allergy and HVC provided her salad without pecans or cheese.
The day of the wedding, HVC arrived on time and quickly set up the tables at our venue. We had a slight change in our table configuration plans the day before the wedding, but the team was able to easily accomodate us.

We had a buffet dinner with chicken piccata, London broil, and penne pasta. The food was good and we received several compliments from our guests.
For dessert, my wife baked our wedding cake and HVC happily cut it and served it to our guests.

Overall, we were very pleased with Hunt Valley Catering because of their affordability and flexibility.

We just held a 250 person event. The food was wonderful … fresh, well prepared and generous portions. Our guests were very complimentary. Darlene (the owner) was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Her detail and follow up made the experience go very smoothly. Lastly the team members who worked the event were professional and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend them.

All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU!! Everything was spectacular. The food was superb and your crew was outstanding!!! Mich listened to every detail I mentioned to her before we went to the ceremony and implemented anything that I asked. She even packed my cooler of leftovers for me. I did not worry about a thing. We received many, many compliments about the food and your staff. The favorites mentioned were the London Broil, Scalloped Potatoes and the Champagne!! It was a pleasure working with you and your staff! Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a job superbly done! ❤️

Darlene and her entire team at Hunt Valley Catering were absolutely amazing!!! From our first tasting all the way to post wedding, Darlene made sure all the details were absolutely perfect. The food quality and taste was phenomenal. So many of our guests came up to us raving about the food (and they were all compliments of different dishes)! My husband and I are from Florida, so we were worried about not being able to be super “hands on” when planning the menu / accommodating all of our guests. Darlene helped ease this stress and she was able to provide us with so many options - to make sure all of our guests were happy. Lastly, the staff working the wedding were some of the nicest people I have ever met- extremely attentive, very kind, and very efficient in making sure our plated dinners got served quickly and to the right guests. I cannot recommend Hunt Valley Catering enough!!

We could not be more thrilled with Hunt Valley Catering and their exceptional service for our wedding at Gramercy Mansion! From start to finish, Darlene and her team were a dream to work with. They were familiar with the venue inside and out, which made the entire planning and execution process seamless.

We had a fantastic tasting experience in which every detail was thoughtfully curated, and we were able to not only sample the delicious menu options but also select our linen colors and napkin styles in person. It was such a fun and personal touch that helped us visualize the reception coming together.

On the big day, everything ran smoothly thanks to their attentive, professional, and genuinely kind staff.

Now, as to the food, it was phenomenal. The Mini Philly Cheesesteaks and Coconut Chicken were huge hits during cocktail hour, and the warm Brie Torte was both elegant and delicious. Dinner was set up via buffet and tables were called up in pairs. All in all, everyone was well-fed and served on time. We still hear people raving about the London Broil and the creamy Au Gratin Potatoes! Darlene's team was very attentive towards our guests with dietary restrictions as well, which was especially important for us. The open bar setup we went with was well-done, and guests really appreciate the variety available to them.

Hunt Valley also managed all the little touches of the reception (cake cutting, placing out our favors, coordinating linens), and they did it all with grace and precision. We felt completely taken care of and at ease.

We had a great experience with Hunt Valley! Darlene was extremely responsive to all of our initial questions about menu options, pricing, and every possible iteration of services Hunt Valley offered. We ended up putting together a package with them that included a seated meal, late night snack, and bar setups with mixers and we provided our own alcohol. I got quotes from at least five vendors, and Hunt Valley provided the most flexibility with food and bar options. They were the only vendor willing to offer more than two entree choices for a seated meal. They also had the most reasonably priced meal prices.

We did two different tastings with Hunt Valley and they were kind and accommodating at each. They were happy to schedule a second tasting to help us finalize our meal and table setting choices. They were comfortable making our three signature cocktails and setting up the bar using alcohol we ordered from a different vendor.

The month before the wedding, Darlene attended a two-hour meeting with our day-of coordinator and venue coordinator to make sure we were on track for wedding day. She was organized, professional, and great to work with. Throughout the planning process, she was always available to answer questions or address concerns. As we made changes to menu and tables, Darlene adapted perfectly.

Wedding day service was seamless. Aside from a bit of a line at the beginning of happy hour (which I've experienced at every wedding I've ever attended), drink service during the wedding was seamless. I also appreciated that, when my husband and I joined everyone for cocktail hour, a waitress found me and brought us a large plate with an assortment of several of each appetizer so we could make sure to enjoy everything.

Dinner service finished on time and not only did I hear no complaints about the food, but I heard a lot of compliments as well! We ended up adding a late-night snack in the month before the wedding, and guests raved about that too! Weeks after the wedding, I still have friends telling me how much they enjoyed the taste of everything.

Finally, we heard from our day-of coordinator that Hunt Valley's staff were indispensable in the set-up process. We had a lot of decor items, and they went above and beyond setting up the tables with these extra items. They also lent a hand to the day-of coordinator at the end of the night, carrying alcohol out of the venue and placing it in one of our cars.

Overall, we are really happy with Hunt Valley from start to finish.

Darlene and her staff went above and beyond. They were so accommodating, and set up everything. The Food was great, the service was amazing - they cleaned up everything. Everyone was so nice and personable. I would use them again and recommend to everyone.

Our daughter and son in-law were married in Vegas so we threw a "reception" for them back home. It was a Vegas theme and munchies type foods. Darlene and her staff were able to give us exactly what we wanted. Her staff anticipated our every need. TJ, our bar tender was fantastic! HVC did everything so that we could really enjoy our party. Thank you.

We were in great hands form the start. We knew the food was going to be amazing but were so pleased to have them guide us on the day of the event. The bartenders were personable and friendly, and the servers were discreet and so helpful!! Best day ever!
