the piece of the chill wedding puzzle we didn't know we needed!
we didn't initially think we needed a day-of-coordinator, but boy are we glad we wound up with one in the end! i met courtney at 'indie-wed' fest in chicago, when we were just considering hiring someone for the day-of, and immediately got a good vibe from her, and thought her calm personality and 'can-do/will-get-it-done-no-problem' attitude would mesh well with my mom's, who is a retired event coordinator! i wanted my mom to be able to enjoy the day and not be 'working', and hiring courtney allowed us all to do just that. my mom absolutely loved her! she helped early via phonecalls and emails with us, she came to the walk-through of our venue the month of, she took charge of a 'ceremony-walkthrough' at the rehearsal dinner the night before, and was 100% there for everything the big day of. we had a pretty big flower snafu, and she jumped into action to get ahold of the florist to get it taken care of. she even took some amazing extra photos all night that my hubs & i were able to view and reminisce with the day after the wedding! i highly recommend that you hire her for your wedding - you'll be able to relax so much more if you do!Sent on 05/05/2019

Worthwhile investment in peace of mind!
My husband and I had our main wedding event in Panama (where I am from) and a second reception in Chicago (where he is from and where we live). Originally we had planned a DIY type of event, including setting up all the decorations ourselves, to be more cost-effective. However, we realized we would not be able to multi-task everything that needed to be done day of -- setting up the decor plus hosting our out of town guests plus getting ready for the event. We found Courtney and Bollo Hollow weddings online and reached out for day-of-coordination services - and we are SO glad we did! Courtney was extremely professional and warm, has a "can do" attitude, and went above and beyond to ensure our reception hall looked fantastic. Mother of the Bride
I am the Mother of the Bride and hired Courtney as our Day Of Coordinator for my daughter’s June 2018 wedding.
