Bluestone Estate is a historic wedding venue located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This romantic country estate is a truly remarkable setting for a special celebration. With each wedding customized to taste, this venue is well-suited to making your special day private, romantic, and elegant.

Facilities and Capacity

Bluestone Estate is set within 110 acres of green hills, farmland, and woodland, with a large pond. Thick stone walls, multi-paned windows, working shutters, and a large flagstone patio are hallmarks of the estate. The venue capacity is 260 guests, who can be seated by round tables seating eight each. The recently rebuilt barn, with exposed beams and crystal chandeliers; the relaxing get-ready rooms; and two large courtyards combine to make this venue unforgettable.

Services Offered

Each wedding is customized at Bluestone Estate. No inflexible wedding packages, only what suits your style, wishes, and budget. The Barn Grand Hall is reserved exclusively for your use on the day of your event. Access to the event space is available for your setup, rehearsal hour, and all the way through to cleanup. Their experienced staff is on hand to assist you with technical and venue-specific issues through your special day. They also provide access to their list of caterers, floor plans, and seating arrangements. This venue does not prepare food and requires selecting a caterer from their list of preferred off-premise vendors for your wedding catering and alcohol. The caterers on this carefully selected list are skilled at creating successful events at the venue.

Other Services

Bluestone Estate is also available for corporate events, private events, and fundraisers. They do insist upon a wedding coordinator from their preferred vendor list, for a smooth planning experience for all parties. On-site parking is available for vehicles and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotels, Lancaster, offers shuttle service to and from Bluestone Estate for you and your guests who have accommodation at the hotel.

History

Erin Armstrong and Chad Vinelli realized that Erin’s family homestead would be the perfect setting for their own wedding ceremony and reception in 2007. Theirs was the first wedding in their new home, and they are excited to offer you a wedding experience like theirs in a historic venue destination. The main house was crafted circa 1770 from locally quarried bluestone, hence the name. The original stone barn was built in 1822. To preserve its character, refurbishment and rebuilding of the barn commenced in 2017.

Location

Nestled in the heart of Lancaster County, Bluestone Ranch is a short 15 minutes from Lancaster and the Amtrak station, and 11 minutes from Strasburg. Harrisburg International Airport is approximately one hour away. Both Philadelphia and Baltimore with their attendant airports are a little over one hour and 20 minutes away.
