Pros:
-very inexpensive. More affordable than most if not all of the caterers in PG ballroom’s list.
- catering manager is very kind

Cons:
- Caterer showed up at 5pm, after we discussed (numerous times) that he would arrive at the venue at 3pm - however; my wedding or reception was not delayed.

They were terrible. we used the 2x and if I knew about how the 1st event went they would have never gotten our business again. First even was really small so service was good except they where missing items they requested and served the items in terrible order. Second event was what really got me. we paid close to 20k for breakfast full continental and lunch (Hot meal). They arrived late which delayed breakfast by 45 mins. Then there was only enogh fresh fruit for about 15-20 ppl followed by hot fruit cups. Our quantites for food was 350. All of he pre wrapped danishes was stale and the muffins where all one flavor (was suppose to be assortment of muffins and danishes). The entire breakfast was purchased from Sams Club. We paid close to 5k for stuff we could have gotten ourself and would have done so if we knew these items werent freshly made by them. We added bagels and yoguart and he didnt come with either item he said he decided to do a raisin bread instead so we asked him to get more. He goes out and comes back once breakfast is halfway over with those items and large containers of cream cheese. As we are cleaning his servers was packing up our left over muffins and putting them in a box to take back with them and when we said something they hid a box and gave us what was left on the tabel. One of the servers was high and the others was unprofessional. For lunch everything was terrible. We ordered a vegan option that he ordered offsite and didnt request enough of , We was missing a meat and a side that we at first took off and since he didnt change the price for removing it we spoke and agreed that they would be added back in and he didnt. All of the food was in half pans and we ran out after the first lunch. his staff was making plates and putting them aside for themselves and they where cleaning and begining to load while they should be serving. There was only enough food to fully feed 75 people. We were not given a refund for anything and they als have a policy where they take any uneatten food with them when the services are done. 0/10 recommended

Black Tie Caterers were the caterer for my wedding on 8/13/2016. Unfortunately, they did not deliver. The tasting went well and they seemed prepared and organized until about 2 weeks out when they started to question things like a vegan option. They showed up almost 2 hours late to my wedding!!! They never even called my coordinator. My bridal party had to set up because they were not at the venue. The salad was minimal and that's being generous. The dressing on the side was in cheap plastic containers. My cake never got served. When my guests asked for cake they were told by the servers to get it themselves (so unacceptable). It took much longer than expected for everyone to get their food. My vegan meal was supposed to be burger. They literally gave my guest a pattie (no bun, lettuce, tomato, no nothing). To make matters worse they never apologized or even acknowledged their tardiness. We have emailed them in which they were supposed to get back to us. It has been 3 weeks and nothing. I wanted to wait to write my review until I spoke with them but it seems they do not care about the service they offered or how it reflected on them. They also brought the wrong size linens. I had a lot of faith and trust in this company and although my wedding day was still great, the catering was the downfall that all my guests mention, which sucks because I can't get this day back. I'm highly disappointed in their service and I do not recommend them for any catering events especially a wedding.
