Stephanie and her team did a GREAT JOB on the day of our daughters wedding. One of our vendors came unprepared to perform their job in a professional manor and we are so happy Stephanie was there. It could have been really bad if she wasn't there to get things done. Stephanie and her team worked hard to make things run smoothly under very trying circumstances. Stephanie was our day-of coordinator for our wedding on November 1, 2025 at Rancho Guejito Vineyard in Escondido. I vividly remember our first chat with her on the phone, and we instantly got good vibes. She was friendly, professional, experienced, and confident. Our monthly video check-ins were productive, efficient, and she really made it feel like we were making progress. Throughout the process she was responsive, helpful and gave us great recommendations for different vendors from her connections. Our wedding was a fusion Indian-Western event - which could be seen as a bit harder to set up & coordinate - but that didn't stop her! Our wedding day was wonderfully coordinated, from the baarat to the ceremony and to the reception. She made sure we had a blast -- thank you Stephanie!

She went above and beyond our expectations and poured so much passion and heart into every detail of our big day. What made our experience extra special was how collaborative she was. At first, I was dubious about the money "day-of" coordinators were charging for the amount of services they actually provide. But let me tell you, I was wrong, in particular with Stephanie Wooding of Best Day Ever Weddings & Events. HIRE THIS WOMAN NOW!!!! She is worth every penny!!!!!!! After interviewing numerous wedding coordinating companies, I was really frustrated because it did not seem like they offered much of their time and advice and services leading up to the wedding day, unless you booked the full wedding coordinator package. I like DIY-ing things and am a decent planner in general, so I didn't think I needed a full wedding coordinator. Additionally, there was no way I could afford a full wedding coordinator package. But then my venue recommended Stephanie, owner of Best day Ever Weddings and she and I immediately clicked during our online meet and greet. She treats you like a real human, not another paycheck, which was so refreshing. She is so immensely kind and generous with her time and she is a genius! She went waaay above and beyond just putting my decorations together. She helped us find other vendors for the wedding, such as our DJ, stationary designer, and linen rentals. She contacted other vendors to get quotes for me - which if you're planning a wedding, you know how much time that takes! She let me ship Amazon decorations to her house to hold on to them until the wedding because I live out of town! She went to visit my venue multiple times without me to see if my decor would work and offered suggestions on how to fix different things. She let me vent about family and bridesmaid drama leading up to the wedding. And an amazing and practical thing about her business is she has a ton of decorations (votive candle holders, seating chart signs, easels, lanterns, cake stands, etc.) that you can use FOR FREE if you hire her! That saved us a ton of money! I don't know her full background, but it seems like she has lived many lives doing many incredible things. I know she has a background in theatre/production, so she understood how to work with the DJ and videographer and venue about setting up the AV system. She also understands how a wedding is a massive production like a play, how to make the different actors come together in an aesthetic manner, and how to manage the chaos. She also has a background in hotel management, so she had many connections in the San Diego area when we were looking at hotel room blocks for guests and hotel suites to stay at for our wedding party. We also had to fire our original videographer 2 weeks before the wedding - I asked her if she could handle it for me because I was too stressed and don't like confrontation. She handled it in a professional manner, no questions asked. This is a woman you want in your corner. She became a friend through the whole stressful wedding process, meeting with us monthly and then weekly and then daily leading up to the wedding. Our meetings were like therapy for me. And then day-of the wedding, I was floored by how happy I was and how smoothly the day went. She and her team did a fantastic job setting up the ceremony with the decorations I made and moved all those decorations downstairs for the reception and it looked beautiful! With her orchestrating everything between the caterer, DJ, MC, decorations, etc., I knew I could relax and spend time with my husband and guests. She is a true saint and the best choice we made for our wedding!

Working with Stephanie had to be one of, if not the easiest part, of the whole day. She was absolutely amazing to work with, on top of answering emails in a very timely manner, and legitimately took all of those leading up and day of hiccups under control. If something did go differently, I didn't know about it. That is how amazing she is to ensure it runs smoothly. Don't look anywhere else but her!

Stephanie was so amazing for our special day! She was our day of coordinator, but she went above & beyond for us! She handled our last minute venue change (due to a flood) a week & half before our wedding with so much grace & calmness. We couldn't have asked for someone better! Any issues day of wedding she took care of without me even finding out! She will take all the stress away from you & that is exactly what you need for your special day! Book her, you wont regret it!

Stephanie was amazing. My husband and I were so happy we chose to work with her. We decided to do a day-of-coordinator as our venue required a planner. We had monthly meetings with her and she always made us feel at ease when the meeting ended. Stephanie is very personable, a great listener, and goes out of her way for you. We were thrilled to have decided to choose Stephanie at Best Day Ever Weddings + Events as our wedding coordinator for our San Diego wedding last month. With the help of Ashley, our on-site coordinator, the ceremony and reception at Tom Ham's Lighthouse were absolutely flawless.

Stephanie seamlessly organized the master timeline in the week leading up to our wedding, complete with all the details, which we were able to distribute to our wedding party and close family. We had several meetings with Stephanie in the weeks leading up to our wedding and discussed all the details with much-needed feedback. We attribute the execution of all the small details to Stephanie and Ashley, with signage and additional floral setup.
