As two people involved in MANY previous weddings, finding a place where our immediate friends and family hadn't had THEIR weddings at before was really hard. While we knew someone who knew someone who had their wedding at BMI, again- none of our immediate circle had which was important to us. Ms. Angie showed us around and gave a very helpful packet of information. The cost for the time was very reasonable and everything that's included is REALLY going to wow our guests. Again, we CANNOT. WAIT.

BMI is a top notch venue - great service
We were married at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in October of 2020 and we could not be happier with our experience. The staff (Claire, Kelly, and Angie) were incredible to work with. We are very happy with how they handled our COVID reschedule and on the day of the event Kelly helped us with every detail. They were so generous and professional and took as much stress out of the pandemic as they could. It’s clear that vendors love working with the BMI as they seem to have a great relationship with all of them. We really loved the views on the water - a true Baltimore Experience. A fantastic experience and we highly recommend them and cannot say enough good things about these people!

Picture Perfect
Let's start with the venue itself. My wife and I viewed 3 total locations with the BMI being the last, and let's just say, it was an absolute no-brainer in going with the BMI. It offered such a unique setting that offered so much more than your "traditional" venue. Outside of not having to plan and spend money on decorating the entire venue, it offered an amazing opportunity for bridal party and family pictures. We had a lot of guests ask us how we knew/found out about the venue because they thought it was an awesome location.
While the venue was great, the event manager at BMI, Kelley Edelman, was what made our experience top notch. Kelley was so very responsive from the very beginning, especially when we had questions or needed to make changes as a result of COVID. We also ran into a situation where our venue that we reserved and paid for our rehearsal dinner went out of business due to COVID, and she was willing to accommodate us under their covered pavilion and get us a deal with one of their preferred catering vendors. Kelley was also key in taking a lot of stress off my wife and I the day before and day of the wedding as we were able to drop off all of our decorations, party favors, etc, and she made sure she understood our wants in terms of how we wanted these items staged inside the museum. Upon our arrival to the museum the day of our wedding, we honestly could not have arranged everything any better than Kelley did! It was picture perfect! Because of Kelley, we were able to enjoy our day without any worries. I truly feel like we now can call Kelley a friend and not just our BMI Event Manager.
The BMI is the uniquest and fun venue in Baltimore to photograph. Brides and grooms are able to have ceremonies in the Pavilion overlooking the Baltimore harbor; Guests enjoy cocktails on the patio and inside the museum, plus photographs at sunset with both the BMI sign and the Domino Sugar sign make it a "must" for clients looking to have a fun reception.
