Facilities and Capacity

Balcony Downs Venue & Retreat boasts a beautiful selection of indoor and outdoor spaces for special events of up to 200 guests. Nestled on one of its postcard meadows is an open-air ceremony site where a rugged wooden wedding arch marks the altar and bales of hay serve as seating for witnesses. While loved ones talk and toast over sumptuous celebratory drinks, couples can retreat to The Ruins, a brick dairy barn whose success was suddenly overthrown by a flood. Only the remnants of the original building remain, but its deconstructed look makes for breathtaking photo backdrops. Once night falls, the all-new wood-built barn welcomes guests with arms wide open for a reception with rustic charm. Festive string lawns soar from one end of the ballroom to the other, but what makes this banquet hall truly magnificent are its colossal barn doors, which offer picture-perfect views of the property from the inside.

All services at Balcony Downs Venue & Retreat come in packages couples can personalize to their needs. These include the use of the commercial kitchen for catering, sound equipment for entertainment, event rentals, and access to three on-site guest houses.
