Katlyn and her team worked their magic for the hair and makeup for my wedding in July! Katlyn was super kind and accommodating when scheduling my hair and makeup trial, and did her best to make sure I looked how I wanted to for my wedding! On the day of, her and her team were able to complete a variety of looks including my wavy half-up look, all four bridesmaids with twisted messy low buns, big beach waves for my sister in law, and voluminous half-up looks for the moms, with a more natural/soft glam makeup look! They were kind and patient when asked for minor changes. It all looked gorgeous in person and on camera! Not only did our hair and makeup look beautiful, but it stayed for the whole night! I am not kidding you, our hair and makeup DID NOT MOVE even after sweating and dancing until midnight! My sister in law and I still talk about asking them about the hairspray that they use because my hair notoriously does not hold curls very well, and my waves stayed all night without feeling crunchy. Katlyn and her team did wonderful work, and I am so happy to have found them!

I am so happy to have found Colette. Colette has several ceremonial readings to choose from as well as a questionnaire that she asks each person to answer so that she can craft a ceremony unique to each couple. She is very willing to work with you regarding vows and such. We found there were aspects from many of her established ceremonies that we wanted incorporated into our ceremony as well as a few readings that we had found ourselves. Again, she takes the time to craft a ceremony that is unique and special to each couple she works with. Her fee is reasonable, she is prompt, responsive, and professional not to mention warm and kind. Whether you are seeking a religious or non-religious ceremony, Colette will make sure you have what you want. Highly recommended.

I recently had Jim, Helen and Nancy come to Big Sur to do the hair and makeup for my very large bridal party and they were AMAZING! They were very efficiant and ahead of schedule. More importantly everyones hair and makeup looked wonderful and very classy! They knew exactly what I envisioned and made it look easy! On top of it all they were all really funny and the best team of people to spend the morning of your big day with! Very impressed!

Allie is an unbelievably talented photographer! She is extremely responsive and makes you feel very comfortable. She will custom build whatever kind of package you need and her work speaks for itself

Joette was the hair & make-up artist for both myself and my MOH. We planned our California wedding from Florida, and I had to choose my hair and make-up artist without being able to meet in person first. Joette was very easy to reach and responsive. She was able to do my trial on the Thursday before the wedding, which was perfect for my tight schedule. Both myself and my MOH are not regular make-up wearers, so it was important that we didn't feel 'cakey' and uncomfortable. Joette had no trouble at all finding me a natural and beautiful look! She also did the perfect hairstyle, which I really commend her for because I didn't give her much to go on, yet she nailed it on the first try during our trial. Both my MOH and I were comfortable and absolutely gorgeous. Joette's shop is also super cute, which is a bonus :-) Highly recommend Joette for both hair and make up!

I loved that I found my dress at Epiphany Boutique. The team there is professional and fun, and I love that the alterations and cleaning were done on site as well, so it was a one-stop shop for me! The package price of alterations and veil length were also a seller for me, so I was able to choose the cathedral veil that I wanted without having to think about any extra coasts. The dress was stunning and I received so many compliments on our wedding day. I felt like a princess and enjoyed laughing and dancing the night away!

On a day with a lot of stress, Ian made things easy and comfortable. We wanted a casual wedding in Monterey, complete with photos of us watching for wildlife in our binoculars. Ian made it all happen and I'm so excited about the resulting photos! I feel he captured the energy of the day and the beauty of our location.

He is a jeweler, designing jewelry for possibly over 50 years and has done work for people who can afford whatever they want. I on the other hand go into his store with a much lower budget only hoping it will be enough and he treats me as if I was just as important as any other customer he could possibly have. I worked with him in designing the ring that I used for the proposal and it is such a special ring that my now wife wears it as her wedding ring. She said she couldn't have imagined a more beautiful ring. I went out on a limb a bit having one special designed, but Mr. Kocek was very accomodating, letting me know we would make it work, basically offering to rework it as needed. We also got my ring with him, one he already had made and equally unique - loved his design. If you don't see something you like in the store, you just have to talk to him. He has many other designs "in the back". Oh, and he buys his own diamonds, travels to I don't know where. I don't understand the business at all, but he took much pride in his diamond buying. As for the 3.5 stars on responsiveness, he was a bit more difficult to catch up with. Phone call is better than e-mail :-). ...and I think he is exceptionally busy and as I pointed out earlier, I was probably a small client for him. Although, I'm pretty sure it is not about the money for him. I really got the sense at this point in his life he does it because it is something he loves to do and enjoys the people.

Hello, Marly's Bridal and her team were a phenomenal service on the day of my wedding. All the while chaos rained on my parade Marly kept me calm even after i started to ball in to tears because things were not according to the itinerary. She kindly took the time to calm me down and touch up my make up before the ceremony started. The wedding was amazing when i stood in the alter taking it all in, just making all the craziness fade away with the breeze. I cried when we kissed. ruining my make up AGAIN!!! Nonetheless, one of her assistants rushed to give me a tissue. (i Hope they cut that out of the wedding video) but in a better note the reception was incredible. (no thanks to the caterer) It was almost magical even after a lil boy ran between us during the waltz. (Omen i hope) Overall it was great having her around to touch up my hair when the party got wild. Thank You so much Marly <3
