Wedding Venues in Costa Mesa

OCMA was an amazing wedding venue to work at. Been in the industry for a number of years, we've DJ'd venues all across California but found OCMA to our favorite one yet. The staff was wonderful to work with and the acoustic sound that this venue was able to produce was astounding. Our couple had the night of their lives here. Definitely OC's hippest new wedding venue right now and a hidden gem that probably won't be hidden much longer.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Avenue of the Arts and their team. The venue was beautiful and elegant. The venue offers a gorgeous lakeside area for your ceremony and/or cocktail hour, and the grand ballroom for the dinner reception. So many of our friends later told us how much they loved the venue. It was also very convenient for our out of town guests, who stayed at the hotel for the weekend (everyone had great things to say about their stay). We loved working with AoA's coordinator Monica, who is very professional, responsive, sweet and just so amazing to work with. She was there for us from day one! We cannot ask for a better experience. Thank you so much for making our wedding unforgettable!

We had the honor of hosting our wedding here at The Harper on 1/19. From start to finish, Jess was such a great help. We’ve obviously never done this before and she was there every step of the way to answer any questions we had. Not only did we get referred to a Wedding Planner, but they made it easy to find all vendors we needed. They broke down all the information we needed with contacts and websites. It was such a smooth sailing process. Perry and I could not have been more blessed to find this venue. It is beautiful inside and out and it made our night very memorable. They were always willing to help and answer any and all of our questions. Trust me, when I thought I had stupid a question, they made me feel like it was an important question. Roomforty (f&b) were a pleasure to work with. They were there every step of the day to make sure our guests and us (the bride and groom) were taken care of. Everyone enjoyed their service and we received so many compliments on their behalf. Food and drinks were amazing. Everyone just enjoyed their hospitality and they even enjoyed themselves as well. Such friendly personalities and got along well with our guests.

The Westin South Coast Plaza is amazing! It is a convenient and amazing location and has great amenities. Sheena was super helpful in setting up our first look at the waterfall terrace, and with our after wedding suite. She was helpful and professional. I totally recommend the Westin South Coast Plaza for any of your wedding needs.

We searched for awhile for a reception venue. It was hard for us to find a space that fit within our budget but Costa Mesa Country Club (CMCC) was one of the only places that seemed reasonable within the area. They have their own catering service, and contract with a chair cover service that offers a discount when used at this venue. Vanessa, the catering manager, was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. She may at times seem flighty, but don't worry. I've seen how organized she is, and I never felt that I had been forgotten. She was knowledgable about how many appetizers and bottles of champagne I needed, and we had exactly enough of each on the wedding day. We were able to sample all the food and the wines that would be available that day. Ceremonies are also available on the grounds, but we just used this site for our reception. Everything was set up in time for the cocktail hour, and all the vendors were able to set up before people showed up. My guests told me that the appetizers were good (and they got to enjoy the beautiful weather out on the balcony!). I can say that the Chicken Florentine was delicious, and I was told that the Mahi Mahi was also very good. My husbands favorite part about this place was the bar. Unlike other places we looked at, CMCC didn't require us to pay a certain fee per person, and only for a certain period of time. We paid a certain amount up front, and then when people ordered drinks they subtracted from this total. We were told when the money had reached bottom, at which time we could have added more money (but we forgot to bring cash,) but it worked out ok, because our guests were certainly ok by that point :). I liked not having to pay for guests I know would not drink, and for others who would only partake in a drink or two. We utilized the beautiful grounds for pictures. I'll post some when I get them back from my photographer, but I am certain they will be beautiful. Other staff on the golf course were very friendly on the wedding day, and told us where to go without having to worry about getting struck by golf balls! BOTTOM LINE: I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a decently priced venue, that offers good quality/delicious food, and offers beautiful areas for pictures. I am very glad I found this place, and I want others to enjoy it too! :)

When I started out looking for venues it was a tough choice. I had gone to look at total of 4 and one of which was the Costa Mesa Marriott. All of them were great but when I first contacted the Costa Mesa Marriott I was replied to by Marisa Puga-Aldax (sadly no longer there) and from the beginning she was phenomenal! When we scheduled our meeting, she was kind, courteous, and very down to earth. She was very open and very friendly and didn't sense a "fakeness" about her. Before we left that day after our 1st meeting, she treated us to chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne. How awesome was that?!?!?! So from that moment on, we knew it was an easy choice to choose the Costa Mesa Marriott. We were super excited!!! And let me tell you that Marisa's attitude and happy personality did not change one bit. Unfortunately, she was just our point of contact but once we signed the contract the Events Team would be taking over. At first we were assigned to someone named Elyse but little did we know that would be short-lived. We were assigned to another wonderful lady named Kathleen Krueger when Elyse left, and just like Marisa... Kathleen picked up where Elyse left off. She was a joy to work with as well and was super sweet. She always had a delightful attitude and was always there to answer questions.when we needed her to. I tell all of my family and friends how unbelievable our experience was over the Costa Mesa Marriott and to this day I still have Wedding Withdrawal symptoms. I wish I could rewind the clock back to do it all over again!!! :-)

Gina was wonderful to work with. She responded very quickly either by email or phone and answered every question I had. The tasting was exceptional. You think they are going to give you "small" portions but you walk out of there very full with delicious food. Everyone was also very helpful during the reception. We had a couple of vegetarians and some picky kids and they didn't hesitate to special make something just for them. The wait staff was great and the food was amazing. The value of the room is great also. My mom commented how it looked so much more expensive than what we paid. All in all, Maggiano's is a great place to have your wedding reception

Looking for a perfect venue during the pandemic and with budget constraints was really a struggle. Ayres hotel was the first venue we visited after filtering all the options online. Upon arriving at the place, we fell in love with the ambiance and warm hospitality of the people we interacted with. This was just destiny for us.

I have and will continue to recommend the Turnip Rose!!! We had the most amazing experience with them. Professional, kind, reliable, communicative, beautiful, and for the price; you can’t go wrong. They helped us have the absolutely most beautiful day!!! While planning we were in communication with Barbi and she was amazing!!! She’s spent about 2 decades in the industry and she knows what she’s doing!!! Our day of coordinator Aubrey was absolutely awesome and just a joy to work with, she made sure our day ran smoothly and was a blast to be around!!! Now not only is this place gorgeous, and the service through the roof (with an awesome bartender might I add) the food!!! Oh my goodness was *chef’s kiss* This was one of the most important things for me and I’m so glad we weren’t disappointed, our expectations were surpassed! I’m still hearing about how beautiful the wedding was and how much everyone enjoyed the food!!! We as the bride and groom were able to enjoy ourselves because of the amazing team from Turnip Rose helping us and our guests had a wonderful time. We couldn’t have asked for more ♥️♥️♥️
