The food was absolutely delicious and generous portions! Shashona was great to work with! She offered to set out our menus and name cards. We came to the dinner each table looked perfect! The serving captain was attentive and proactive. The venue was beautiful.

We had originally hoped to book Mastros Ocean Club for our intimate wedding ceremony and dinner, but had a very difficult time getting the coordinator there to respond to our emails and she eventually ghosted us altogether. We reluctantly reached out to the Costa Mesa location expecting a similar response, and we are so glad we did!! Shashona’s responsiveness is impressive, and her attention to detail was much appreciated. Our wedding was postponed once because of the pandemic, and Shashona made rescheduling a breeze. She threw in so many complimentary services for us to thank us for sticking it out with her, but we couldn’t have imagined doing this with anyone else but her! She adjusted her work schedule to be there the day of the wedding, and came early to make sure vendors could drop off and set up without a time crunch. She really went above and beyond for us, and we are so glad we decided to try Mastros Costa Mesa!!

Our larger wedding planned in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic. However, it was a blessing in disguise as Mastros was the perfect place to host a smaller wedding! Ask for the director of events at Mastros. She is amazing and really helpful with planning your dream wedding. The venue, ballroom and outdoor terrace, is on the second floor. Super private and since we had a daytime wedding, we had the whole venue to ourselves (Mastros opens to the public in the late afternoon). The ballroom and terrace are adjacent to each other with adequate airflow as the entrance to the terrace is fairly large. Our ceremony was at the terrace and right next door was the reception. Really convenient. Mastros really turned out better than we could have imagined! Highly recommend.

We decided to hold our wedding reception In January at Mastros after the initial visit and knew it would be our best option. From the beginning, we knew we wanted a stress free reception with good food and drinks. Mastros provided just that! The Lemon drops were a hit! We did not have a day of coordinator and the employees at Mastros and Shashona made sure the night went smoothly. It was easy to narrow down the food options . The servers/ bartenders were attentive the entire night. Also, the room/bar area we used for the reception required minimal decorations, yet still looked classy.

I was surprised to find out that MASTRO’s host wedding receptions. I’m so glad that we reserved with them. Shashona and Katie made the whole experience so easy and stress free. Everything was set up the way we wanted and the menu options were fantastic. Our serving staff were very professional and many of the guests commented about how great the bartenders were. Everyone loved the high quality food and drinks. The price was very reasonable for a fancy dinner and drinks at MASTRO’s.

The event coordinator Shashona Reynolds was amazing. She made our night so spectacular and listened to everything we talked about and made helpful recommendations based on her years of experience. I would highly recommend the Mastro’s team. They executed our wedding day to perfection.

I can’t say enough great things about Shashona. She went above and beyond to insure I had the best birthday experience at Mastros. The moment my friends and I arrived we were greeted and taking care of. Not one time did I have to look for someone to help us. They were always making sure we had everything needed throughout the evening. The staff took great care of us! She definitely knows how to add the lil touches to make your experience memorable. Thank you Shashona and team for being amazing!!!

Mastro's is hands down my favorite restaurant. When it was time for my wedding, I could not think of any better location! Shashona was awesome! She is friendly and helpful, totally answered all of my crazy questions and was very accessible to meet. When it comes to a wedding location that includes catering, no detail can go left untouched. Shashona was very professional and precise in providing the 5 star service that Mastro's is known for. Our ceremony would not have been complete without the amazing work Shashona and the entire Mastro's staff put in to making our wedding perfect. Thanks again Shashona and everyone at Mastro's!

Our main focus, besides getting married of course, was to have excellent food at our wedding. Through our extensive search, we stumbled on Mastro's in Costa Mesa and never looked at another venue. We'd like to preface there are three other Mastro's locations in closer proximity to us, but what sets the Costa Mesa apart from the rest, is access to the modern outdoor drought friendly oasis, Noguchi Garden.

We held our ceremony in Noguchi Garden and the reception on the 2nd floor of Mastro's for 105 guests. It was just absolutely perfect! The Director of Events, Sho, and her team were top notch, and we can't stress it enough! Their attention to detail and service truly sets them apart as a fine dining establishment. Sho met with us on multiple occasions to answer our questions, walk throughs, and most importantly, menu planning to help us stay on budget. She was there during our first look to work with our coordinator to ensure the ceremony space was perfect. She was also present during cocktail hour, and was even serving side dishes to our guest! Sho and her team went above and beyond what we could've ever imagined!

The food was in one word, PERFECTION. Our cocktail hour and dinner is truly what set our wedding from "good" to amazing! Guests are able to select for a wide ranging menu and have their meal cooked to order! Our guests continue to rave about how delicious the meal was and the exception service (there was never an empty glass in sight!). We honestly never imagined that we would be able to fit a restaurant of this caliber in our budget range. Once we spoke to Sho, she was able to help us select a menu within budget. Our total cost would've been comparable to other beautiful venues in Orange County or Los Angeles. We highly recommend checking Mastro's and promise you won't regret it!

Mastro's was everything we knew it would be, Shashona Reynolds and her staff are the best they went above and beyond our needs all our guest after the wedding were talking about Mastro's service and the great food, drinks and the classy restaurant, the guest that had never experience Mastro's will now become regular customers. Shashona made our wedding seem less her staff kept the food coming. I would do it again at Mastro's and would tell anyone that Mastro's is the place to have a wonderful wedding. I can tell you where we will be on our one year anniversary Mastro's.
