The Chart House - Dana Point restaurant wedding venue provides clients in Orange County with impeccable service, succulent seafood, and elegant event spaces that accommodate up to 200 guests. Located atop a steep bluff, this restaurant venue offers clear and beautiful views that extend all the way to La Jolla, over 50 miles down the Southern California coastline. Upon renting the entire facility, couples can host a large and extravagant celebration, both indoor and outdoor, with a capacity for up to 200. For slightly smaller events of about 70 guests, the Aloha Room offers gorgeous views of the majestic Pacific Ocean and the California Coast. Clients can also host a ceremony and reception in the naturally beautiful garden setting of the Dana Point Outdoor Room, which accommodates up to 80 guests.

Amazing venue

I just got married here a few days ago and had an amazing time. Melissa helped us coordinate the entire day and was very timely in all her responses throughout the planning process. The views are spectacular and the food was superb. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings.

The best in the OC

My son was married there yesterday we we are so happy we chose the chart house. There is no other venue in orange county that has that view. Melissa the banquet manager was amazing. She really listened to everything we wanted no matter how often we changed our mind. I dont think anyone could have done better. The food was over the top. everyone said and I agree. When my other son gets married Im sure hope it will be another chart house wedding !

Exceptional

Where do I even begin? The view was ah-ma-zing, the food - exceptional, the service - superior. Chart House and the catering staff Marisa, Melissa & Chris made our dream wedding (during covid) come true.

It was everything we expected + more! Aside from being the best out of the 4 we considered taste wise, their wedding package offered & provided the best value compared to the other options that had a view of the water.

Marisa was such a pleasure to work with, very easygoing, easy to reach and responded in a timely manner each time.

My husband and I are big foodies so it was important to us that the food not only was delicious but 4 protein options (beef, chicken, fish and shellfish), 2 pasta options and 3 sides - to cater to everyone and the hors d’oeuvres were just delish.

It was also a relief that they were able to accommodate and helped with our request to separate ceremony and reception seating by household and made sure that the tables and chairs were spaced 6 feet apart. We had an outdoor micro wedding with 46 guests, and it was important for us to follow all the safety protocols to make sure we can celebrate safely.

Thank you Chart House, Marisa, Melissa & Chris. You all rock and we cannot wait to come back for our monthly date night dinners there!

Again, Simply the Best

Marissa was my contact at the Chart House and she couldn't have been more attentive, responsive, flexible, she was amazing. Unfortunaltey, the wedding was during COVID so we had to consistently adjust what we could and couldn't do to be compliant. Marissa made it easy for me. She was there when ever I needed her, made great suggestions. Assisted in any way she could and the venue was beautiful. We had to have it outside, so we moved the dance floor outside and she arranged a tent so we could have protection from the sun. She was just so accomidating. The food was great, we had an amazing Mimosa bar that she coordinated. Honestly, it was perfect and I can't thank Marissa enough. The Chart House Dana Point, Rocks.

This review is way overdue, as my husband and I were married at the Chart House in August 2016, however we wanted to leave a review for the staff, especially Marisa, our wedding day coordinator. From the beginning of our wedding planning up until our wedding day, Marisa was extremely helpful. We live on the east coast so planning a wedding in California was a challenge, but Marisa made it so easy for us. She was so excited for us and her enthusiasm was contagious! She coordinated all of the vendors and provided us with recommendations to use, which was really helpful and we ended up using three vendors from her list. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was professional. My husband and I highly recommend the Chart House in Dana Point for a wedding ceremony and reception as we had such a good experience. I hope Marisa is still employed at the Chart House because you will be in good hands and your wedding planning will be easier and more enjoyable.

The Chart House was PERFECT for our wedding day. Marisa was amazing to work with! We had an initial walk-through, came back to sign the contract, and had two more meetings with her before the rehearsal dinner. She was very helpful in planning the day and had no problems meeting up with us so many times. We got so many compliments on the view. Doing a day time wedding here was so nice because we were able to have the entire venue to ourselves and everyone told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. I couldn't have imagined my wedding anywhere else!

Positively perfect!! Marisa, the banquet manager, was absolutely amazing! She made things so easy and worked around our Tiki Wedding. Being able to decorate how I wanted to made everything absolutely perfect. The food and beverages were stellar! The site is on a beautiful bluff overlooking the Pacific and the gorgeous harbor. The pricing was reasonable and I can't imagine a more glorious wedding!
