El Adobe de Capistrano is a banquet hall situated in San Juan Capistrano, California. This historical landmark welcomes couples and their guests for vintage garden weddings. The building, once a court and jailhouse, consists of wine cellars and enchanting dining spaces. Guests may find this venue just ten minutes from Dana Point Harbor.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can invite 450 of their beloved friends and family to their wedding at El Adobe de Capistrano. The Palenque Room is the most popular space for wedding receptions and welcomes up to 250 seated guests. The room features an antique wooden bar and floor-to-ceiling windows. However, the highlight of this space is the ceiling that slides open to reveal the sky above. The establishment's garden welcomes up to 200 to its private and enchanting location, while the chapel offers an indoor option for up to 300 attendees.
Classic adobe architecture in the Portola Room includes stained-glass windows and a wooden vaulted ceiling. This intimate is used for smaller receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, or rehearsal dinners of up to 46 guests. Similarly, the Las Flores Room, which overlooks the garden, can seat up to 60 guests. Furthermore, their original jail cell is complete with iron bars and couples can enjoy an intimate dinner for eight.

The Perfect Wedding Venue
Sianna was our special events manager. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND. She was accommodating, responsive and kind and made our wedding so special. Our wedding was about 110 people and the venue was perfect. Everyone raved about the food and margaritas oh and the churros! I would definitely recommend renting the bridal suite as well, they have a separate room attached to it for the guys to get ready too so it was perfect. I couldn't have imagined a better day. Thank you to the entire El Adobe staff for a night we'll never forget.
